Do-it-yourself metal garage: self-assembly of the garage, drawings. Types of foundations

Row outbuildings have a flat roof. Most often it is a brick garage or utility blocks. Concrete slabs are usually used as roofing. For year-round operation of the premises, it becomes necessary to perform floor insulation. In this regard, the questions of how to cover the concrete roof of the garage and what is the principle of performing this operation require detailed study.

Principles of thermal insulation

The garage, or rather its roof, is insulated according to the same laws and principles that are valid when performing thermal insulation of the walls of residential buildings:

  • the heat-insulating layer must be outside;
  • waterproofing should protect concrete floor slabs and, if necessary, insulation;
  • conditions must be created to prevent mechanical damage to the layers of hydro- and thermal insulation.

The latter condition is especially relevant in cases where the roof is in use (which is quite common).

The thickness of the heat-insulating layer that needs to cover the roof is selected in each case separately. It depends on the mode in which the garage is operated, the climatic characteristics of the area and the thermal characteristics of the insulation itself.

Materials for insulation

Because of the abundance thermal insulation materials the question of choosing the most suitable insulation can be confusing at first. On closer examination, the whole variety of thermal insulation that can be used in this case comes down to three groups:

  • mineral wool slabs;
  • extruded polystyrene foam (EPS);
  • loose mineral heaters.

The roof can be insulated with thick, rigid mineral wool slabs. The density value of the boards should be in the range of 170-230 kg/m3.

The advantages of mineral wool include its incombustibility, stability of physical and chemical characteristics in time. Light weight, which distinguishes the material, play special significance will not, because concrete slabs have a very high bearing capacity.

The main disadvantage of mineral wool is its strong water absorption and, as a result, a sharp decline thermal insulation characteristics. The insulation layer must be covered with an insulating barrier. Moreover, the roof, insulated with mineral wool, must be protected both from atmospheric precipitation and from moisture rising from the side of the room.

More preferably, the use of extruded polystyrene foam boards. They have great rigidity and are able to withstand mechanical loads, which allows you to create a garage with an exploitable roof. The density of XPS used for flat roofing must be at least 30 kg/m3. You should also give preference to low-combustible grades of material.

The folds made along the perimeter of the plates provide a tight connection of adjacent sheets. The garage is almost completely covered with monolithic thermal insulation.

A very big plus is the structure of the EPS. Closed sealed cells with air, which make up the material, practically do not absorb water. The water absorption coefficient is extremely low. This makes it possible to perform less severe waterproofing than that required for mineral wool.

Concrete slabs, which act as floors, have a very large bearing capacity. The roof is able to withstand significant loads, and restrictions on the weight of the insulation are removed. It becomes possible to use a material such as expanded clay.

Of the advantages of the heater, it is worth mentioning its cheapness and ease of operation. Expanded clay is also afraid of moisture and it is necessary to take appropriate measures to prevent it from getting wet. The backfill layer is leveled, then it needs to be covered cement screed, on top of which, after hardening, a carpet of rolls is applied waterproofing materials.

If the roof has a large area, then it is desirable to lay inside the expanded clay layer reinforcing mesh, it will stiffen the backfill layer and prevent cracking of the cement screed.

Traditional insulation scheme

With the traditional scheme of roof insulation, the main layer of waterproofing protects the insulation from atmospheric moisture.

The garage is covered with a roofing "pie" having the following layers:

  • concrete floor slabs;
  • vapor barrier;
  • a layer of insulating material;
  • waterproofing;
  • roofing material.

As a waterproofing for the roof of the garage, roofing material laid in several layers or specialized rolled materials can be used. A prerequisite is the fastening of waterproofing materials with mastic or liquid bitumen.

Using the welding method with open fire unacceptable, because there is a risk of fire.

Coating

Choosing the best to cover the roof of the garage, made of concrete slabs, you should pay attention to the following materials:

  • flexible bitumen tiles;
  • roll materials;
  • sheet materials (slate, metal tile, polymer slate).

In some cases, the garage is designed for the active use of the roof. In this case, the roof can be tiled paving slabs or paving stones.

The thermal insulation layer can be made of any suitable physical characteristics materials ( mineral wool, XPS, loose mineral heaters).

Inverted insulation scheme

The roof in this case is protected by a waterproofing barrier, which is laid on concrete floor slabs. Then a heat-insulating layer is performed. With this scheme, the insulation will protect the waterproofing from exposure sunlight, and most importantly, from temperature extremes.

The created conditions allow you to get a garage, which has significantly increased the period of maintenance-free operation of the entire roof structure.

The use of mineral wool or expanded clay in this case is unacceptable due to their hygroscopicity. They get wet very quickly and lose their properties. Only possible variant- cover the roof with XPS boards. It has the required rigidity and almost zero water absorption.

Roof structure

The structure of the roof will look like this:

  • concrete floor slabs;
  • leveling cement screed;
  • waterproofing;
  • insulation;
  • roofing.

Moisture protection and coating

Concrete slabs are leveled with a screed and covered with a layer of waterproofing. This allows fastening by fusing insulation using open flames. Mounting with mastic also does not lose its relevance.

The final roofing, mounted on the garage, is made of the same materials and using the same technology as in the traditional scheme. Roofing materials in this case are mostly decorative.

High-quality protection of the roof from water with the help of double waterproofing allows you to solve main problem— Eliminate the risk of flooding of thermal insulation and destruction of the strength elements of the frame. In addition to corrosion and the risk of freezing insulation, faulty waterproofing leads to puddles on the floor in the garage. As a result, the upholstery and body of the car quickly become unusable.

How to properly waterproof a garage roof

Depending on the structural design of the roof, the waterproofing functions of the roof are achieved in several main ways:

  • If the garage room is not heated, no heating appliances, not stored vehicle, there are no sources of water vapor, for arranging roof waterproofing it is enough to lay a high-quality roofing;
  • For insulated pitched roof the garage will require high-quality surface waterproofing using bituminous materials and an under-roof insulation package;
  • For a cold version of the roof of an unheated garage, which has a basement with storage places for vegetables, a roof waterproofing device similar to a cold attic will be required gable roof.

Important! If there are people in the garage from time to time, there is no basement, but it works properly supply and exhaust ventilation Do-it-yourself garage roof waterproofing is done by simply laying an external waterproofing layer.

How to waterproof a garage roof

The main way to provide a waterproofing barrier of the garage roof is to lay a dense waterproof coating on the outer surface based on a bituminous composition or a polyvinyl chloride multilayer film - a membrane.

Most often, the roof of the garage is made in the form pitched roof with a slight slope or flat, formed in the form cement-sand screed or concrete slab. In this case, the following coatings are traditionally used:

  1. Rolled bituminous materials, welded onto concrete or crate using a gas burner. Reinforced two-layer panels can also be glued using roofing mastics cold or hot curing;
  2. Membrane sheets based on PVC polymers. Today it is the most perfect, reliable and safe type roof waterproofing, the service life of which can reach several tens of years;
  3. Liquid and structured bituminous coatings. In the first case, the waterproofing is applied with rollers, brushes or by spraying with a nozzle onto the prepared surface. In the second case, the bituminous mass does not have a reinforcing layer, it is simply rolled out on the roof and melted with a burner to obtain a uniform and dense waterproofing layer.

Methods for laying waterproofing on the roof surface

The simplest, not requiring high qualification, method of arranging waterproofing on the outer surface of the roof is the application of ready-made liquid solutions of bituminous masses or self-polymerizing liquid rubbers. To apply waterproofing, it is enough to cover the surface prepared and impregnated with a primer with a roller or brush. After solidification of the material, a homogeneous seamless coating which can effectively withstand rain and melt water.

Note! In order to increase the resistance of liquid compositions to the destructive action of the sun's ultraviolet radiation, the surface is backfilled with coarse-grained sand and mineral grains.

This method does not provide full waterproofing due to the lack of a reinforcing layer. Under load, for example, if in the midday heat or, worse, at low temperatures, it is enough for a person to walk on the surface of unreinforced waterproofing, and the tightness of the coating will be broken. That's why liquid formulations are used as a sublayer to enhance the insulating properties of the film laid under the roofing of corrugated board or metal tiles.

Rolled waterproofing options are most often welded onto the surface of the roof. To do this, the sheet is heated by a gas burner to the bitumen melting point, approximately 200-250 ° C. Due to the presence of a fiberglass frame, the heated sheet does not spread, but retains the shape and density of the insulating layer. After heating, the panel is laid on the roof surface and rolled with a roller or roller. The panel is overlapped, and after welding with a torch, a dense monolithic waterproofing coating is formed.

More difficult is the laying of membrane materials. To work with this kind of waterproofing membranes, you will need skills in working with a PVC panel and the ability to use welding machines to connect individual sheets into a single coating. If membrane waterproofing is laid on flat roof, under the canvas, a geotextile fabric is used as a base. Using a welding machine, the edges of the membranes are welded with an overlap of 40-50 mm. If the membrane is laid out on the surface of thermal insulation or on an inclined plane, the fabric is additionally fixed with the help of fungi - self-tapping screws with a very wide cap. This fastening allows you to hold a soft elastic fabric on the roof of the garage with a slope of up to 10 degrees.

Internal roof waterproofing

Often the roof and walls of the garage get off with a powerful layer of insulation. Therefore, a large amount of water vapor is formed in the room, rising to the roof surface and condensing on the cold inside. If the roof has a low slope angle, or is generally made in the form of a flat surface, organizing the removal of condensate is quite problematic. We have to equip additional systems ventilation of the under-roof space with the help of high ventilation pipes, not less than 2-3 meters above the roof level.

To increase the efficiency of condensate removal, experts recommend supplementing the waterproofing of the inner surface of the garage roof with anti-condensate films. The design of anti-condensation coatings is such that saturated water vapor, coming into contact with the film, turns into tiny drops of water and is absorbed by the material, preventing it from turning into heavy full-weight drops that can return under their own weight to the thermal insulation layer. The air flow, blowing the reverse side of the anti-condensation film, evaporates moisture and effectively removes it.

In addition to anti-condensate materials, superdiffusion membranes are used. They work in reverse. Water vapor can easily penetrate through the thickness of the membrane into the gap between cold base roof and a layer of waterproofing, remaining sealed until completely removed from the surface of the waterproofing.

For simple unheated garages and uninsulated roof structures in addition to external bituminous or polymer waterproofing With inside the usual polyethylene or polypropylene film is laid. If for some reason a heat source appears in the garage room, water vapor rises to the cold surface of the roof, condenses on it in the form of droplets and is removed by the supply air. exhaust ventilation. With insufficiently effective exhaust system condensate will roll off and be absorbed by plaster or wall decoration elements.

Conclusion

The best quality of roofing waterproofing can be obtained in combination, using several methods at the same time. For example, for a standard cold garage with flat roof at least a two-layer coating with glass isolator with additional sizing is required liquid rubber or mastic of the areas where the bituminous canvas adjoins the walls and the visor. If there is a basement in the garage, it is necessary to hem the inside of the roof with a superdiffusion membrane and organize normal ventilation of the air gap between the film and the roof ceiling.

A garage, like any building, consists of walls, a roof and a floor. In addition, it may have a basement or viewing hole. To preserve expensive equipment, you need a normal microclimate in the room, and to create it, you need high-quality waterproofing of the garage. Garage waterproofing is divided into vertical and horizontal. Horizontal insulation is less expensive, but it does not always satisfy the operating conditions and the terrain on which the garage is built. Different kinds insulation differ in service life and price: bituminous materials are designed for 10-15 years, and modern polymer waterproofing materials will last the entire life of the building.

Modern PVC membranes are presented on the domestic market: Flagon, Alkorplan, Logicruf, Plastofil, etc.

How to properly waterproof a basement

A dry basement or viewing hole should be considered at the construction stage. There are special waterproofing additives for concrete, from which the basement is built. This method is the most rational, although it leads to an increase in the cost of construction. In addition, insulation can be carried out from the outside along the lateral area of \u200b\u200bthe foundation, which goes deep into the soil, for example, coated with hot bitumen.

Coating with bituminous mastic is not expensive and effective method for private construction

If the soil is wet, but there are no underground sources, then waterproofing can be done by pasting, using roofing material on bituminous mastic. The underground outer part of the building is pasted over, then it is lined with greasy clay at a distance of up to half a meter. The clay is compacted tightly.

For insulation, modern PVC membranes can also be used; for the foundation, their thickness should be from 1.5 mm. It all depends on how the garage is built: the availability of funds, work force and technology.

Waterproofing by gluing requires skills and equipment

If underground sources are found during construction, then they must be sealed up to a depth of half a meter (you can use a clay pillow). Be sure to equip the drainage to drain the accumulated water. Of course, it is better if there are no such sources in the construction area, and the groundwater level is below the level of the basement floor. The walls in the basement can be faced with brick. If the basement is built from reinforced concrete slabs, then they are also embroidered with a solution of concrete with waterproofing additives. From the same solution, a screed is also made on the basement floor.

In damp soil or if there is an underground source nearby, greasy clay or crushed stone soaked in bitumen goes to the base of the floor. A multilayer glued ruberoid carpet is laid on the floor. This method will be of interest to those who build a garage on their own on their site.

Waterproofing seams and joints at an early stage of construction will allow you to permanently protect the premises of an already finished garage from dampness

Basement waterproofing is essential if a building is to last for a long time. The choice of waterproofing method depends on the quality of the soil, the availability of underground sources and building materials.

If the garage is not new, and water began to seep from the basement wall, then the gap should be expanded and sealed with concrete with the addition of a waterproofing modifier, but it should also be taken into account that with outer side water will accumulate along the foundation, so you need to find a source and make a drain.

In addition, the level of humidity is affected by ventilation. If the air in the basement of the garage is damp or there is a smell of fungus, then you can burn 10-15 tablets of dry alcohol. It will not only dry the room, but also destroy putrefactive bacteria.

The basement ceiling is a reinforced concrete slab.

Methods for waterproofing a viewing hole

Often, with poor hydroprotection, water collects in the inspection hole. To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to use penetrating waterproofing. It is possible to protect the pit from the penetration of groundwater without digging.

For the safety of expensive equipment, a normal microclimate in the room is needed.

Penetrating waterproofing is a ready-made composition, which, when mixed with water and then applied to a wet surface, results in chemical reaction forms crystals that fill the capillaries of concrete. Processing with such a mixture is the best solution in terms of price and quality in a ready-made inspection pit, if the waterproofing was not thought out in advance. So you can process the basement, foundation, cellar, walls, roof. This method economically viable for not new buildings. Penetrating mixtures are applied as follows:

  • Solution preparation.
  • Preparation of the treated surface: consists in removing the film to open the pores of the concrete.
  • Water saturation of the treated area: necessary to ensure the diffusion process chemically active components solution into the pores of concrete.
  • Solution application: small areas applied with a brush, roller, spatula.

The mixture can be applied in several layers, and after it dries, the walls can be treated with plaster waterproofing in 2 layers.

Waterproofing viewing hole at service stations using Penetron system penetrating materials

In addition, the isolation of individual sections can be carried out by injection with special gels. There are many technologies for creating monolithic or prefabricated structures using penetrating materials based on polyurethanes. They can also be filled with concrete monoliths, on which cracks have formed.

The nuances of insulating measures for the floor of the garage

Only horizontal insulation can be dispensed with if the garage is built on a hard, dry and not heaving soil and above the groundwater level. In this case, waterproofing is mounted 30-50 cm from the ground around the entire perimeter of the floor. You can use 2-4 layers of roofing material for this. Pre-concrete is impregnated with penetrating waterproofing.

The roofing material is laid layer by layer, impregnated with glue and heated in such a way that a continuous surface is obtained as a result. Upper layer closes concrete mortar and the construction of the walls continues. This option is suitable if there is no and no planned viewing hole or basement in the garage, for which vertical insulation is used. For these purposes, a reliable multilayer PVC membrane, 3.5 mm thick, for example, Resitrix, is also suitable. Such material can also be used on the roof, but working with it requires special equipment and skills.

Hot bitumen is used to bond the roofing material with the concrete floor of the garage. Cement for waterproofing should be of a low grade, while bitumen is suitable for any

To lay the membrane, the surface is immediately reinforced with a 100 * 100 mm road mesh.

Often it is necessary to combine vertical and horizontal insulation. Although this option the most costly, it is also the most reliable.

Special attention should focus on joints and seams. From the floor to the entire height of the walls, they can be treated with a waterproof sealant. The vertical and horizontal insulations must fit snugly against each other to ensure that there is no possibility of moisture penetration.

Waterproofing membranes for arranging the floor in the garage should not be thinner than 1.5 or 2 cm

How to install the membrane

This is an expensive way of warming and waterproofing, but it justifies itself. It is impossible for a non-professional to carry out work independently.

  1. The first layer is laid on the already reinforced surface - the underlying one. This layer is made of geotextile, the density of which is 350kg/sq. m.
  2. The next layer is waterproofing. The membrane is arranged in such a way that it completely covers the entire floor, if there is an inspection hole, then both the floor and the walls of the inspection hole. It must end on the inside. vertical surface foundation, climbing the wall to a height of 10 cm. It is fastened along the walls with a rail with self-tapping screws. On concrete, the area under the membrane is smeared with polyurethane sealant: PU-15 or its equivalent is suitable. The seams of the cloth are welded together (this requires equipment).
  3. Then another layer of geotextile. Here it acts as a layer between the insulation and the membrane.
  4. Now a layer of insulation. Its thickness is from 50 mm. Suitable extruded polystyrene foam, with a density of 45 kg / sq. m.

The garage floor with waterproofing and insulation will last a long time and ensure the safety of equipment. Next comes the reinforcement of the surface and the creation of a concrete floor.

How to protect walls from moisture

If the design is not monolithic, then you should pay attention to the joints. The easiest way: treat the walls with a penetrating waterproofing agent, putty, paint with polyurethane-based paint.

Penetrating waterproofing of garage walls

We protect the roof of the garage from moisture

Most often, the garage roof is shed, and the methods of its waterproofing are reduced to waterproofing shed roofs. Since the premises are non-residential, bitumen sheets glued together overlapped are suitable as a waterproofing agent.

To prevent moisture from penetrating through the roof, the waterproofing is overlapped and soldered

If a old roof from concrete all in cracks, then it can be treated with bituminous mastic. Penetrating waterproofing is also suitable. Waterproofing will last longer if it is protected from above by a full-fledged roofing, for example, corrugated board.

Garage roof waterproofing is a must. If this work is not done efficiently, then moisture will penetrate into the room and there will be dampness in it.
Roof garage waterproofing being done various materials and their choice depends on the foundation itself. Today we will analyze this issue in detail.
You can view photos and videos and choose desired material. This will provide instructions for doing this work.

Do-it-yourself garage roof waterproofing

A true car enthusiast is ready to deny himself a lot in order to provide his adored car with proper parking, maintenance and operation conditions. This statement also applies to the garage, which must be spacious, roomy and not let in any precipitation.
This article will discuss how to perform high-quality and reliable waterproofing do-it-yourself roofs
In our time, the most popular are one- and two-pitched roof shapes:

  • Shed roof is more often used in garages standard design(for example, in garage cooperatives);
  • Dvuskatnaya is more typical for garages in private households.

This is primarily due to the fact that when a garage is part of a single architectural design with a house, this imposes certain stylistic frameworks and restrictions on its design.

Attention: The main criteria that the garage must meet are the reliability of the structure and the relatively low cost of the materials used. Exactly because of this reason garage roof often has a fairly simple configuration.

Types of roofing for a garage

Waterproofing for the roof of the garage depends on the materials of its manufacture. Let's consider this question. As already mentioned above, the roof for the garage can be single and gable.
Wherein lean-to design roofs can be made in two main ways:

  • With the use of reinforced concrete structures manufactured in the factory
  • With a monolithic reinforced concrete floor made by own hands.

Attention: In areas with high level snow loads, as a rule, use roofs with rafters. This is done in order to provide the largest possible angle of inclination of the roof slope.

  • The slope, made at a large angle, prevents accumulation a large number snow on the roof, thereby protecting the structure from possible collapse under its weight.
  • As roofing slate, metal tile, ondulin and other coatings typical for gable design roofs.

The types of waterproofing used can vary greatly and are directly dependent on the chosen roof structure.

Waterproofing of the concrete base of the roof

Waterproofing concrete roof garage is better to combine with the process of its insulation. In this case it is possible to achieve good quality insulation without significant material costs for roof repairs.

So:

  • For this, it is worth using extruded foam (see), which has excellent performance. mechanical strength and compression strength.
  • A layer of a special primer should be applied to the previously prepared and cleaned concrete base. deep penetration with good resistance to low temperatures.
  • Styrofoam is laid using special types glue.
  • In addition, each sheet is additionally fixed with the help of "umbrella" type devices. This operation helps to securely fix the foam layer.

A lightweight and convenient prefabricated garage made of profiled metal sheets or sandwich panels does not require a strong foundation. Installation of the structure can be done with your own hands, with a minimum of necessary tools.

A prefabricated metal garage does not belong to a capital building, therefore, its installation does not require special permission from many authorities. What other advantages does this type of prefabricated structure have:

  • resistance to fire;
  • relatively low cost compared to brick garages and buildings from blocks;
  • a metal garage is light in weight, so its installation does not require a complex expensive foundation;
  • it is difficult to open a metal garage - you need tools that work with a lot of noise - a grinder or welding;
  • you can install the structure with your own hands in two days;
  • prefabricated garages made of sandwich panels are distinguished by good thermal and waterproofing;
  • in a prefabricated metal garage, it is easy to make simple ventilation;
  • when insulating, heating of such a design will also not require a lot of costs.

The advantages of this durable and lightweight design are many. Of course, a prefabricated garage made of profiled metal sheet cannot be compared with a brick capital building, but such a design can protect the car from weather conditions and theft.

Disadvantages of a prefabricated garage

There are metal garages and disadvantages that must be considered:

  • because light construction, then it can be lifted with a crane or jack, which is often used by hijackers. You can protect yourself from such a situation. To do this, the finished structure is installed on a shallowly recessed tape or simple columnar foundation and pour the concrete floor, enough width - 10 centimeters of the screed;

Advice. Additionally, you can weld the walls of the garage to the concrete reinforcement in half a meter increments.

  • to avoid condensation on the walls and ceiling, from the inside metal frame you can easily insulate the garage with mineral wool or polystyrene foam with protective trim from chipboard;
  • regular painting of the roof, fasteners and walls with water-repellent enamels, with rust additives, will help to avoid rapid metal corrosion.

Good ventilation in a metal garage and floor insulation will help reduce humidity by fifty percent.

Design, dimensions and price of a standard prefabricated garage

Every garage owner wants to buy a reliable durable construction at the right price. What are the differences between prefabricated garages offered by Russian manufacturers and how to choose the best option.

Frame features

The main load-bearing rigid structure of a prefabricated garage is a frame. Therefore, it is important what materials the assembly is made of, and by what method. The dimensions of the frames of finished garages are standard.

  • height - 1.8 - 3.5 meters;
  • width - 2.9 - 4 meters;
  • length - 4.6 - 6 meters.

The load-bearing rigid frame consists of a lower and an upper frame, on which vertical posts (2 meters apart) are fixed along the long wall and two vertical posts for installing the gate. You can order a design and according to individual sizes from non-standard parts, but it will cost more.

The step between the vertical posts is selected depending on the width of the wall cladding material. Decided to buy a metal garage? Call Easy Sky! We will select a design option that best meets all the wishes at an anti-crisis cost.

What to look for when choosing a prefabricated garage frame:

  • galvanized frame metal profile allows you to create a strong and resistant to wind loads design of any size. Even big production hangars and greenhouses made of square profile are resistant to strong wind and weather loads. It is good if, additionally, stiffeners are installed diagonally between the vertical posts;
  • quick assembly garages made according to standard projects- this is a ready-made construction kit, consisting of frame elements, fasteners and sandwich cladding panels. Such frames are made of U-shaped profile, S-350 steel, first class galvanized;
  • on top of the frame square is mounted on hardware roof truss for single-pitched or double-pitched roofs and additional additional junction parts that guarantee waterproofing;
  • you can order a frame made of steel square or rectangular profile, then during the installation of the cladding, welding work will be required so that the walls are welded from separate sheets into a solid monolith.

At a cost, only a standard frame made of a 6x3 or 7x3 meter metal profile will cost about 70,000 rubles, without installation. But, the assembly is very simple and you can do it yourself, with building skills and free time. Installation will cost an average of 25 thousand, excluding the foundation device.

The cost of the finished structure depends on many parameters:

  • an economy class garage - for one car, without additional shelves and racks, costs 50 percent less than a convenient box for two cars;
  • the thickness of the insulation and waterproofing layer also affects the price of the finished structure;
  • metal roofing with insulation is more expensive than standard roofing.

Additional accessories and engineering systems increase the price of a finished warm prefabricated garage:

  • automatic gate opening;
  • modern locking mechanisms;
  • ventilation and air conditioning system;
  • additional doors and windows;
  • installation of a reliable modern alarm system.

In our company you can always order everything you need technical equipment contemporary convenient garage at the right price and quality assurance.

Sheathing options

Panel insulated with a layer of mineral wool

Ready prefabricated garage can be selected with different options wall cladding:

  • simple assembly of sheets of corrugated board, which is mounted on a base made of metal corners using rivet bolts;
  • sandwich panels - the most convenient and practical option sheathing, as it guarantees reliable insulation. Between two metal sheets panels on waterproof glue use a layer of insulation, the thickness of which can be selected depending on the climate of the region. For frosts below -20 degrees, a layer of insulation of at least 150 mm is needed. Mineral wool or expanded polystyrene is used as a heater in the panels;
  • for regions with high humidity, it is better to choose polystyrene foam insulation, and for areas with low winter temperatures, experts use panels with mineral wool insulation.

Sheathing from corrugated board without insulation

Important. For panels with insulation, it is strictly forbidden to allow moisture to get inside. We need high-quality waterproofing of all joints of the structure and adjacent parts.

  • metal sheets - the most reliable and practical finishing option, but requires additional costs for painting and insulation.

A fully finished prefabricated metal garage from the Light Sky plant from sandwich panels, for one turnkey car, will cost about 300 thousand rubles. This is cheaper than a long capital construction with a complex foundation.

Garage from corrugated board

Roofing for prefabricated metal garage

Depending on the characteristics of the site, the roof can be both single-pitched and double-pitched. Finished farms are easily assembled according to the drawing, durable and reliable in operation. Coverage can be chosen based on your own preferences and material capabilities:

  • sheet metal;
  • galvanized profiled sheet;
  • sandwich roof panels with insulation and waterproofing;
  • metal tile.

All these coatings are easily attached to finished profile trusses. Simple design roofing allows you to organize any kind of exhaust or natural ventilation and execute additional insulation and soundproofing along the exposed guides.

Prefab garage installation

The prefabricated insulated structure can be installed on any cement base and even on a pad of compacted soil, crushed stone and gravel. Only in this case it is necessary to equip a quality drainage system to divert seasonal storm and melt water from the metal walls of the garage.

Without drainage, a prefabricated warm garage is installed on concrete base(tape or monolithic). Mandatory lifting height from the ground level is at least 20 centimeters. It is more reliable to install prefabricated frame structures on monolithic reinforced concrete foundations.

Foundation device

The foundation for an insulated metal garage can be ordered together with the installation in our company, because any construction begins with us! And you can do it yourself, but given the size of the structure. The sequence of work is as follows:

  • remove a layer of fertile soil, carefully tamp the soil;
  • according to the dimensions of the frame, it is necessary to dig a trench for a tape shallowly buried foundation. Width 60 cm, depth 50 cm;
  • a pillow of sand is poured at the bottom of the trench - a layer of 20 cm and carefully compacted;
  • then a formwork made of board or plywood is set, width 40 cm, height - 20 cm above the soil level;
  • to waterproof the foundation, a layer of plastic film is laid on the bottom of the formwork;
  • after reinforcement is set, two reinforcement bars (minimum 8) are tied with knitting wire and fixed with transverse bars in 50 cm increments;
  • concrete mortar for the foundation is prepared in the ratio of 1 part of cement, two parts of sand and two parts of fine gravel.

Advice. For regions with low temperatures it is better to purchase ready-made concrete for the foundation with anti-frost and strengthening additives, it is not much more expensive, but better than a home-made mixture.

  • the hardening time of the concrete tape depends on the weather conditions, but it is better to cover the poured foundation with a roofing material or film until it is completely solidified. AT hot weather to avoid cracking, spray the foundation periodically with water;
  • when the concrete hardens, you can remove the formwork and backfill with sand all the cracks and gaps in the ground.

Now you can proceed to the device of the garage floor.

Floor installation in a warm garage

It is easy to pour a concrete floor screed:

  • we fill the floor with a layer of sand 10 cm and carefully tamp;
  • be sure to level the surface with a level, taking into account required slope for water drainage in 2 cm;
  • a reinforcing frame is placed on top of the sand layer (rebar 8 or 12 mm, depending on the weight of the car). The mesh is slightly raised above the sand so that it is completely filled with concrete;
  • it is immediately necessary to set the beacons according to the level concrete screed, step one meter, so it will be more convenient to align concrete mix after filling;
  • then poured - a layer of at least 10 cm.

On the rough screed, then it will be possible to make a moisture-repellent or anti-dust coating with a special mastic for the floors in the garage.

Exposing the frame of a warm garage

You can install the frame only on a fully mature and frozen foundation. The frame assembly sequence is as follows:

  • first exhibited bottom trim, which is firmly fixed on the foundation.

Important. Be sure to correctly set the lower part of the frame horizontally in level so that there are no distortions, the strength and rigidity of the entire structure depends on this.
