3. Chemical components (in particular adhesive compositions), which, when contained in a laminate in large proportions, can have an adverse effect on human health, up to getting cancer. That is, thanks to the chemical components, it is possible to produce 100% moisture resistant laminate. The only question is how safe it will be for human health.

A number of EGGER products already have a soundproof underlay. But any additional cork backing will give a reduction in noise in the room up to 13 decibels, which for the human ear is similar to reducing the noise level by half. Classification and standardization

At the moment, there is no standard in Russia that regulates the parameters for assigning laminate to one or another wear resistance class. Elements with a surface layer of aminoplast heat-shrinkable resins. Specifications, requirements and test methods”).

However, the class of the laminate is not always the determining factor in the final quality of wear resistance.
