When buying a mini-tractor for processing a small plot of land, the package often does not include all the elements attachments so they have to be purchased separately. And the price of any spare parts at retail is much higher and depends on the manufacturer and quality.

Equipment that meets all the requirements of a business executive is not always on the market. Therefore, the best option is to make homemade plow, which at the same time will cost much cheaper than factory equipment, sometimes of dubious quality.

To make a plow yourself, you need to know its design and functions well. individual elements. Typically, arable attachments for general purposes are used on private land plots. In the design of such a plow, two main parts can be distinguished: working and auxiliary.

The operating elements of the equipment include:

  • Enclosure that includes a stand and field board. A blade and a plowshare are attached to the rack.
  • The knife is the main cutting element of the plow.
  • The skimmer is an additional cutting element of the attachment, designed to cut the top layer of soil (sod).

Auxiliary structural elements:

  • The frame is the base on which all other parts of the plow are attached. Its design includes longitudinal bars, struts, stiffening beams.
  • Support wheel (mounting height can be adjusted).
  • Hinge - a special device with which attachments can be attached to an MTZ tractor or a motor cultivator.

Plow with skimmer for walk-behind tractor

The skimmer is designed to remove the top layer of soil when plowing land plot. He turns over a layer of soil with weeds, lays it on the very bottom of the furrow made by the body, which is equipped with special devices. It cuts and turns over part of the soil from the side of the furrow. At the same time, the body with the equipment loosens the soil and distributes it evenly over the weed layer laid by the skimmer. To level the wall of the furrow, the plow is equipped with a special knife, which is mounted in front of the extreme body of the attachment.

Types and arrangement of the case

Plows are subdivided depending on the number of hulls into single, double hull and multi-hull devices.

The body structure includes the following parts:

  • rack;
  • field board;
  • ploughshare;
  • dump.

The type and quality of plowing of the land allotment depends on the last two structural elements. The plowshare cuts the soil layer, which further rises along it towards the dump, then turns over and crumbles. The angle of turn of the land formation depends on the design of the dump. A field board is mounted at the bottom of the body, which prevents the plow from moving in the direction of the plowed land.

If you are interested in how to make a plow with your own hands, the drawings of its design should be selected based on the type of soil being cultivated with this attachment for an MTZ tractor or a motor cultivator.

Plow body options:

Important! If you are planning to make a plow with support wheel for a walk-behind tractor living conditions, the design of the hull is recommended to be selected depending on the type of soil.

The choice of housing depends on the type of crop being grown. Root crops need thoroughly loosened soil, for which none of the above options for agricultural attachments is suitable. In this case, it is recommended to use combined design. The body is equipped with a shortened blade, a plowshare and a rotor, which additionally crushes the soil in the process of processing the land.

Blade design

Drops can be:

Important! When choosing a plow design, it is necessary to take into account a significant moment: the plowshare with the blade must be almost the same thickness (1 mm is the allowable “step” value, not more than 0.5 mm is the gap between the blade and the plowshare).

Share shape

To make a plow with your own hands, the drawings of a plow for a mini tractor must be selected according to the type of soil being cultivated and the complexity of the device itself. First you need to decide on the design of the plowshare.

A plowshare is a part of a plow that cuts a layer of soil. On the plowshare, the soil further rises to the dump. For the manufacture of this structural element of the plow, hardened steel of increased strength is used. It is possible to make such an element of the construction of a plow in domestic conditions from an ordinary steel pipe.

Share shapes:

Of the listed plowshare options, the most popular is a chisel-shaped product for a reversible plow. They are considered the most stable during operation, the plow is freely deepened to the desired depth.

Before making a plow self made for a walk-behind tractor, you need to choose the right attachment design scheme. If you have an old tool, you can make new parts based on it. If the old plow is missing, you can use Zykov's drawings for its manufacture. But it is imperative to take into account the parameters of agricultural machinery, on which it is planned to further use self-made attachments.

The plow is used for plowing the land in almost any large farm, since without it it is almost impossible to plow the land with high quality, especially if it is dense soil or virgin soil.

During the first treatment, the upper layer is cut and divided into furrows. After the second pass, the lower layer of the earth is raised and mixed with the upper layer. This technique is very effective when fertilizers are scattered on the field, which must be mixed with the soil. Also, the method is suitable for deepening crop residues into the ground.

There are the following types of plows:

  • Lemeshnoy;
  • negotiable;
  • Disk;
  • Shelling.

Reversible plow

There are also several ways to attach plows:

  • trailed;
  • Mounted;
  • Semi-mounted.

Branded model for the MTZ walk-behind tractor

The manufacturer presents a universal model of the PU-00.000-01 reversible plow, which is adapted to a walk-behind tractor, but fits any MTZ. He copes with plowing the land of any density, including virgin soil. As features, one can single out the small weight of the plow, which is only 16 kg.

During plowing, the working area is 30 cm, which can significantly save time. The maximum depth can reach up to 25 cm, but it can be adjusted using the stand and the holes on it. The design of the plow involves not only plowing, but also provides the opportunity to dig up root crops. And thanks to a simple fastening with a hitch, preparing a walk-behind tractor will not take much time.

The appearance of the plow is designed in such a way that Bottom part performs a cut of the earth layer and captures it, and the upper one throws the layer to the side. This design allows you to throw the earth to the side so that it does not crumble back into the laid trench. Due to the use of durable steel, the device does not deform over time and does not corrode, but can be used for a long time under any load.

Universal plow for motor-block "Belarus" (PU-00.000-01)

Analogues for the MTZ motoblock

As an alternative, which can be used together with a walk-behind tractor Belarus MTZ, can be considered following models plows:

Plow P1-20/3 - is a production Russian company Mobil K, which is located in Gagarin. The form is similar to the branded model, but with some differences. Reduced weight to 8 kg. and a single grip of the plowshare is 21.5 cm, which is almost a third less than that of PU-0000001. Because of this, it is more expedient to use the model on small areas with medium density soil.

The double-hull plow, due to its design, has features during operation. The pointed end of the plow easily enters the soil and does not immediately throw to the side, as it does when using a universal model, but turns over. This results in improved soil mixing. The plowshare width of the tool is 15.5 cm, and plowing is carried out to a depth of 20 cm.

Despite the fact that the indicator is somewhat less than that of the branded model, due to the design features, plowing is more efficient. The weight of the model is 12 kg, and the production is carried out on Russian territory.

Devices made independently for the MTZ walk-behind tractor

The design of the plow is so simple that it is not difficult to do it yourself.

The leading role is played by the ploughshare, which plunges into the ground and raises the layer. It, like the rest of the parts, can be made at home.

In order to make your own plow you need:

  1. Take metal from 3 mm. thick.
  2. Make a dump. To do this, a template is drawn on paper, and markings on the pipe are already made on it and cut out. The recommended share thickness is 3-5 mm.
  3. From metal pipe make a hitch in the form of the letter G.
  4. Weld the blade and share. At the back, weld a pipe mount for the subsequent connection of the parts with the hitch. Fastening is carried out with the help of bolts, so that later it would be easier to adjust the depth of the plow immersion.

In order to properly connect the plow to the MTZ walk-behind tractor, perform the following steps:

  1. Remove the transport wheels and put lugs in their place. This is done in order to improve grip on the ground, as well as to increase the stability of Belarus due to the fact that the lugs are mounted on hubs that increase the track width. If the plow and walk-behind tractor, in general, weigh a little, then weighting agents should be used, otherwise the device will not be able to effectively cope with the task.
  2. To connect the hitch to the walk-behind tractor, a standard hitch is used, which is fixed with one kingpin. At the same time, 5% play should remain, which ensures the depreciation of the unit during soil resistance.
  3. Set the plowing depth. The depth is adjustable by attaching to the holes on the rack.

The plow is adjusted in the following order:

  1. Set the plowing depth;
  2. Adjust the slope of the blade;
  3. Adjust the field board.

If everything is done correctly, then the walk-behind tractor with a hitch will go smoothly, without jumps and deviations to the side. And most importantly, the furrow will be straight. Such a unit can easily replace a tractor when plowing personal plot or vegetable garden.

Owner reviews

Below are the reviews of the owners about working with the plow for review.

Oleg:

The plow for the MTZ walk-behind tractor decided not to buy, but to make it himself. It seems that everything was done according to plan, but I forgot to polish it. Therefore, it was hard to work with a plow, dirt stuck to it and the soil did not lie beautifully in rows, but piled up in heaps. I had to bring the matter to mind - to clean and grind. Things got better.

Maksim:

It is important not only to correctly adjust the plow, but also to prepare the walk-behind tractor for work, namely, to pump up both wheels equally. If everything is done correctly, then Belarus will not jump during work, and the row will turn out to be even and neat.

Hillers for the MTZ motoblock

Hillers are important equipment for facilitating agricultural work. With this tool you can quickly and easily make furrows for planting different cultures. But mostly they are used for hilling potatoes.

There are several types of hillers:

  • Reversible type, consisting of two plows and being the most common;
  • Disc type - are considered the most efficient and make a furrow with the help of two rotating discs.
  • Active type - referred to as special hillers, since this hiller first raises a layer of earth, crushes it, and then only discards it.

From the manufacturer

The proprietary model of the okuchnik, adapted for the Belarus walk-behind tractor, is OU-00000-01. The advantage of the model is the ability to adjust the distance between the two plows of which it consists. The width can vary from 45 to 70 cm, which is very convenient when the distance between the beds is different. The device itself weighs 20 kg, so Belarus can reach speeds of up to 4 km/h.

Analogues of hillers for the MTZ walk-behind tractor

If we consider an alternative to branded models, then you should opt for the products of the Lida Mechanical Plant, which produces plows and hillers adapted for Belarus. The model is called OK-2 and has the same parameters as the branded hiller. In addition to the weight, which is 12 kg. and immersion depth, which is somewhat less than the original and is equal to 12 cm.

A wide range of equipment is presented by the Agromotorservice company, among which there are both disk and universal hillers. The user can choose for himself optimal size disks, which are presented in various sizes from 18 to 36 cm in diameter, respectively, they are immersed only by half the diameter and only one row is processed.

Homemade hiller devices for the MTZ walk-behind tractor

The easiest and least time-consuming option is to make a reversible hiller, which consists of two plows. Making a disk and rotary hiller will require a lot of effort and patience.

Two plows are taken and clung to the frame, and then to the hitch in Belarus. The frame is made in a T-shape square pipe.

The advent of walk-behind tractors has greatly reduced the amount of physical input required for agricultural work. It is quite difficult to make a traction mechanism on your own, but to make a plow for a walk-behind tractor with my own hands- not such a difficult thing.

Advantages

The hand-made manufacture of a plow for a walk-behind tractor has its positive aspects: the compliance of the parametric characteristics of the blade and plowshare with the requirements of a particular type of soil. Speaking about the parametric characteristics, it is customary to highlight the effectiveness, the size of the capture, the depth and quality of plowing, the angle of the blade.

Taking into account the power characteristics of a walk-behind tractor with a plow, it becomes possible to manufacture a plow that does not cause a significant load on its engine, but provides a maximum grip area. The use of high quality materials will increase the service life of the plow.

In addition, you can take into account the possibility of fastening different nozzles. This will make the design multifunctional, which in turn will make possible the whole complex of works on soil treatment.

Structural version of the plow

The following types of plows are popular today:

  • single-hull;
  • rotary;
  • negotiable.

The first type is the most widespread. On the Internet, you can easily find many diagrams and drawings of a single-furrow plow. This is the preferred solution for those who have no experience in self-manufacturing similar structures.

You don't need any special tools to create it. Will be sufficient standard set, which can be found in any garage or outbuilding.

The difference between the reversible plow is the presence of a curved feather in the upper part of the structure, which allows you to immediately turn over the earthen layer when it is raised. it optimal choice if you have to work on solid ground. Due to the complex design solution, only a specialist can make it.

The most time-consuming is the rotary plow. Its design is similar to that of a cultivator, as it is equipped with several shares at once, fixed on one axis. During plowing, the axis scrolls, which causes the earth layer to turn over.

The advantage of this type of plow lies in the possibility of processing the soil to a depth of 0.3 m without any significant physical costs. In addition, it makes it possible to carry out arable work along various trajectories.

Instructions for creating a plow

We make a frame. To do this, take a steel pipe measuring 52 * 40 mm with a wall thickness of approximately 7 mm. Having cut off the wide opposite walls of the frame, we make a fork.

Then we make a middle mark on the frame for the subsequent installation of the transverse traverse and spring racks for attaching the drawbar. Hole in the front frame structure must be thoroughly brewed.

We fix the plow stand. To do this, in a wide piece of pipe used in the manufacture of the frame, we drill through holes with an area of 3.1 * 1.6 cm. The size of the holes in the narrow frame walls for installing the handle should not exceed 1.02 cm. The handles are made from a pipe with a diameter of 0.5 inches.

We make a hitch. This is an important part of the plow. It is she who provides reliable fixation with a walk-behind tractor. The most popular is the channel mount in the shape of the letter "P", installed under the steering part. In the manufacture given element you will need to make holes for installing the bracket and mounting pin.

We do the main working details. First of all, they include a plowshare and a blade. Perfect for making them. steel sheet up to 5 mm thick.

First we make a plowshare. Here it would be appropriate to apply old disk from circular saw. An anvil can be used to sharpen the cutting part of the plowshare.

Then we make a dump from a steel pipe with a size of 0.6 m. To do this, take cardboard or paper. We make a template out of them, apply it to the pipe and circle it. Next, using welding machine cut out. The resulting blade is processed with emery or grinder.

We collect the plow. You will need a steel sheet with an area of \u200b\u200b0.25 square meters. m. It is necessary to weld all the details to it, starting with the side shield and ending with the plowshare. The work must be done with great care. Next, take a hammer and chisel and disconnect a metal sheet where welding work was carried out.

Then it remains to clean the seams, grind the blade and plowshare and paint the entire structure. These measures will give the plow aesthetics and increase its service life.

Photo of a plow for a walk-behind tractor

The plow is an integral part of the walk-behind tractor and is mandatory for use by every owner of Belarus. It is worth noting that they are different, and you should choose carefully.

Plows are:

  • Reversible or they are also called rotary. Plowing is carried out with the help of a blade;
  • Disk (they are rotary). Plowed with rotating discs.

From the manufacturer

The official website presents one type of reversible plow - the universal PU-00.000-01 for the MTZ-09N motoblock. It is suitable not only for the MTZ-09N model, but also for any other MTZ walk-behind tractor. The universal plow is used for plowing by Belarus of any lands, including virgin ones.

Features of the universal plow PU-00.000-01

  • A reversible plow can be used both on new lands and on already plowed ones;
  • The weight of the reversible plow is only 16 kg;
  • The width of one track when plowing is about 30 cm, that is, it is possible to work with large areas;
  • It is possible to work at a depth of up to 25 cm, the immersion is adjusted using special holes on the stand;
  • Due to its shape, it is possible to use Belarus for digging up root crops;
  • The light weight of the structure makes it easy to transport;
  • Fastening to the MTZ walk-behind tractor occurs using a conventional hitch.

The main design feature of this model is the shape of the reversible plow. The ridge at the bottom grabs the earth, and at the top it expands and sheds it. Due to this, the soil is thrown away from the trench and does not fall back.

It is made of high quality steel, and the design itself is simple and durable. Due to this, long-term reliable operation of equipment is achieved instead of Belarus for a long time and under heavy loads.

Analogues

Several more similar models of plows are compatible with Belarus.

Plow P1-20/3

This reversible plow is manufactured by Mobil K from Gagarin. It is made in the same shape as the PU, but only a single grip of the plowshare is fixed and is 21.5 cm. And this is almost a third less than that of a universal plow.

The design weighs 8 kg. It is worth using the P1-20/3 plow only when Belarus is working with small plots.

Double-furrow reversible plow

This model has configuration features. The share of this plow is made in the form of a feather. Its tip enters the ground, and the ground is not immediately thrown to the sides, but turns over several times in front of the plow, and then leaves. This results in better mixing of the topsoil.

The maximum plowing depth is up to 20 cm, the share width is 15.5 cm. This is less than other models, but plowing is more efficient.

This design weighs 12 kg, and the speed of Belarus, together with a reversible plow, is from 2 to 5 km / h. It is produced in Russia.

Homemade option

The design of the reversible plow is simple. Its main working part is the plowshare. It sinks into the ground and plows. For MTZ-09N walk-behind tractors, you can do it yourself.

Stages of designing a homemade plow

  • This will require a steel plate. The metal should be thick from 3 mm. Since this element cuts the soil, and a lot of pressure will be exerted on it.
  • Next, you should make a dump. A metal pipe with a diameter of half a meter is perfect for its manufacture. It is enough to cut out a blade template from cardboard, transfer it to the pipe and cut it out. Do not take too thick metal, the recommended share thickness for normal plowing is from 3 to 5 mm.
  • Make an L-shaped hitch from a square metal pipe.
  • The next step is to connect the blade to the share by welding, and weld a small piece of square pipe on the back in order to connect it to the hitch with bolts. Then, with the help of these bolts, it will be possible to adjust the depth of the plow.

Also on the forums a large number of various schemes, drawings and videos on how to assemble a plow for Belarus with your own hands.

Homemade plow for MTZ walk-behind tractor

Plow adjustment

A properly tuned plow is the key to successful ploughing. Here's how it's done:

  1. Depth adjustment. The recommended level of immersion of the plow into the ground during plowing is 5-7 cm. Firstly, this is the average level of immersion of a shovel. Secondly, in this case it is impossible to touch the clay rock, which may be below. Thirdly, at such a depth of plowing, the roots are not covered large quantity land, and freeze during the winter.
  2. Adjustment of the "angle of attack". This moment involves adjusting the angle of plunging the share into the ground. If it is too big, instead of plowing, it will be used as an anchor, and just pull Belarus to the ground. If it is too small, then instead of plowing, it will slide over the surface.
  3. And one more piece of advice. The first track should be as flat as possible. Since all subsequent ones will follow it. After you make the first track, put the MTZ walk-behind tractor with one wheel in the track and continue to work. If it is uneven, then additional adjustment will be necessary.

Reviews

There are many reviews on the Internet about the operation of plows, for example:

Paul:

“After I made a plow with my own hands, I began to use it. But at the same time I forgot to polish it. As a result, dirt stuck to the plow, and it worked like a bulldozer. As a result, I had to clean off all the rust and scale, then it became much easier. ”

Maros:

“It is important to maintain the same tire pressure. In my experience, a pressure of 2 atmospheres is considered ideal. If it is less, then the wheels will quickly wear out and stick out under the weight of Belarus itself, it is better to let them be pumped over than under-inflated. If the pressure is not the same, then the MZT will constantly go in one direction. And even better (if possible), replace the usual wheels with ground-catching ones, and the work with the plow will go smoothly and smoothly, the main thing is to adjust it correctly "

Okuchniki

Hillers allow you to cut furrows for planting crops, but their main use is precisely the hilling of potatoes to get more yield.

Okuchniki are of several types:

  • Negotiable. This is the simplest type of hiller, which works with two plows.
  • Disk. This option is more efficient. It works with the help of two rotating disks. Which rotate and loosen the soil.
  • Active. This special kind okuchnik, Which works with the help of propellers. If the disc and revolving hillers just flip upper layer land for potatoes, then this one first crushes it, and only then discards it.

From the manufacturer

The official manufacturer offers one version of the hiller - the universal reverse hiller OU-00.000-01.

It looks like two connected plows. It is possible to adjust the row spacing by rearranging the plows at different distances from 45 to 70 cm. The plow plunges into the ground to a depth of 10 cm. The average speed of movement of Belarus with a reversible hiller is 4 km / h. The design weighs 20 kg.

Analogues

The best analogue for any factory mounted equipment for MTZ is Lida products. Including hillers.

Okuchnik OK-2 is presented by a Lida company and has similar parameters with a universal okuchnik, except for the immersion depth. The maximum immersion of this unit is 12 cm. Accordingly, the speed in this case drops to 3 km / h.

Unfortunately, there are no special disk hillers for the MTZ walk-behind tractor.

You can always choose a universal option for a walk-behind tractor that will work successfully on it. The main thing is to choose a hitch.

The Ukrainian company "Agromotorservice" offers a large number of universal equipment, including disk hillers. The sizes of the discs can vary from 18 to 36 cm. The level of immersion in them can be at most half the diameter. The disadvantage is that they are designed to process only 1 row, while reversible hillers work with two rows at once.

Homemade option

It is problematic to make a disk hiller, it is much easier to reverse in its design. To make it, it is enough to have two plows on hand, which, with the help of bolts, are connected not to Belarus, but to the frame. And the frame itself is already connected to the MTZ.

The frame should be made of a square tube in the shape of the letter "T". This design is simple but effective and has been known since Soviet times.

Overview of the universal hiller OU-00.000-01 for the MTZ walk-behind tractor

Setting up the hiller disks on the MTZ walk-behind tractor

An example of hilling with a walk-behind tractor Belarus MTZ-09

High-quality plows are used to cultivate arable land. To date, there are several varieties of this tool. The reversible plow is most often used by farmers due to the maximum and simple efficiency of this equipment. Learn more about classifications, ratings, and how to apply reversible plows for a walk-behind tractor we will tell in this article.

Characteristics

A reversible plow for a walk-behind tractor has two mirrored working elements - shares. One of the blades plows the cultivated area, the second is in the air. After turning the walk-behind tractor, the shares change places due to the impact hydraulic system. This structure of the plow allows you to get land with no furrows, ridges.

The use of a standard single plow does not allow achieving such indicators. Due to the design of the instrument, the final result is with double grooves located on the sides of the center. Revolving models fixed to the equipment in three sections, providing uniform rigidity of the structure. To positive qualities relate:

  • ease of adjustment of structural units;
  • increased wear resistance of working bodies;
  • arable land capture width;
  • ease of transporting the tool.

The mounted plow device includes the following parts:

  • rigid frame;
  • toothed sector, gear, hydraulic cylinder responsible for the ability to turn the tool;
  • disk case with dumpers;
  • fuse;
  • hydraulic device;
  • wheels.

Setting the working width is possible in 4 directions from 33 to 50 cm. If the plow consists of multiple bodies, then the width increases up to 9 meters. The dimensions of plows for walk-behind tractors do not differ in massiveness. The width of the plowshares of reversible plows is on average 50 cm with a height of 25 cm. The angle of the tip of the blade is about 20-40 degrees. The entire height of the finished structure is no more than a meter.

What are there?

Working elements of a single-furrow plow according to the form are divided into:

  • plowshare (subdivided into screw, cylindrical and semi-cylindrical form);
  • dumpless;
  • disk;
  • rotary;
  • combined or universal, designed for the greatest crushing of the cultivated land.

By the number of working parts of the device are:

  • single-hull (the easiest to use, have the smallest mass, simple design);
  • double-hull;
  • multi-hull (used in extremely complex tasks of plowing the soil).

Reversible models are used when processing difficult and heavy soils. The design is a pen bent upwards, which turns it over during the cultivation of the earth. Reversible plows come in reversible and rotary forms. Rotary are represented by two-hull and three-hull types. These models have complex structure, the number of shares depends on the shape of the plow.

Discs are used for plowing wet soils. The depth of processing is the smallest when compared with other types. Two-share plow - a standard model, represented by two blades located opposite each other. Each working body rolls off the soil to the right and left sides, depending on the chosen direction, the shares are reset by manually turning the mechanism by 180 degrees. These plows are the most popular and have increased productivity. Suitable for plowing on inclined surfaces, slopes.

A two-turn plow is used for plowing neglected and stagnant layers of the earth. This model, unlike others, does not have idle runs on the soil, which improves the performance of the tool several times. Design double-turn plow allows you to change the direction of movement of the shares by 90 degrees.

Model Rating

The most common models are Kverneland, Almaz, Lemken, Salyut, Krot, Neva. The Lemken plow (Germany) is characterized by high productivity, quick turning of the working surface on narrow sections strength and durability of the material from which it is made. Such models are equipped on modern high-power tractors. Some Lemken variants are formed by a 4-profile frame, equipped with a share speed control system and equipped with hydraulic overload protection. Models of hybrid types are used as mounted and semi-mounted reversible plows.

The Neva model is represented by a hinged and single-hull version. The mounted model is designed with a single blade, plowing is carried out in one direction. The depth of tillage is changed manually, the range is from 18 to 22 cm. A single-furrow plow has 9 various models, differing in weight, dimensions and capabilities of arable land. The weight range varies from 3 to 15 kg. Plowing depth - from 14 to 20 cm. Single-hull types are universal and will suit any requirements.

The Salute model is represented by many types. These are revolving, disk, mounted plows. Plows of the Krot series are represented by single-body and double-turn models. All instruments are made in Russia. All types of plows are suitable for walk-behind tractors with the same name. This is done for ease of use and finding suitable parts to replace equipment.

Kverneland brand plows are made in Russia and are designed for coupling with tractors. The model range is divided into mounted reversible and semi-mounted plows. Semi-mounted have the largest number working cases, up to 14 pcs., are easy to operate and set up equipment. Negotiable are characterized high quality, strength, are divided into models suitable for various types soils, including rocky ones. They have from 3 to 7 buildings.

Setting and adjustment

Whatever design features they didn’t have a plow, they are all fixed to the walk-behind tractor with the help of a hitch of two models - universal and stationary. The first hitch model is the best option due to the wide range of instrument settings. When mounting a plow to a walk-behind tractor, the type of hitch does not affect the attachment technique. You can fix the equipment as follows.

  1. The plow is located on an elevated surface in relation to the walk-behind tractor. As a pedestal, natural elevations, bumps, and a mound of bricks are used.
  2. The hitch is made in the towbar area. All holes must match with each other, forming a single ring.
  3. Clutch is done with a bolt.

When fixing attachments, the bolt must not be clamped with increased force. Rigid fixation of the elements affects the quality of the cultivation of arable land, the plow will hang from side to side. To prevent this from happening, a horizontal gap of 50 degrees must remain at the attachment point. Next, the canopy is adjusted:

  • the depth of plowing is selected;
  • board tilt level;
  • dump angle.

Depth corresponds to how much the working parts of the plow will be immersed. Most often, the value is equal to the height of the blade. With shallow plowing, weeds are not uprooted from the ground. With an excessive depth of processing, the fertile layer, when mixed with the lower layers, will lose nutrients necessary for the development of the sown culture. To adjust the depth level, it is necessary to fix the three bolts in the desired position of the lock while raising and lowering the plow. The screw handle is responsible for the tilt, the adjustment is made according to the following scheme:

  • walk-behind tractor is located on a hill;
  • the handles are rotated until the board touches the ground;
  • the handle is unscrewed in the opposite direction, the board should be located at a height of several centimeters from the ground level (2-3 cm).

If the angle is too large, the tool will slip due to the plow clinging to the ground. If the level is insufficient, the unit will not be able to process all layers of soil with a set depth. The blade angle is adjusted according to the listed rules.

  • The walk-behind tractor is located on the edge of the treated area and the first furrow is made. Then the resulting depth of arable land is determined.
  • The passage must be strictly in a straight line.
  • Next, the wheel of the walk-behind tractor is driven into the furrow, the plow is located perpendicular to the ground. You can use a square.

All these methods will lead to high-quality tuning of the plow, provide protection against possible tool breakage.

Operating rules

Qualitatively plowed land affects the level of yield of sown seeds. At agricultural enterprises and in private estates, the use of reversible plows on walk-behind tractors and tractors leads to positive indicators of tillage. The difference in arable elements depends on the type of unit used. Their mass, size, number of dumps vary. When working, make sure correct setting and fixing the hitch.

  • It is forbidden to stand on the face and sides of the equipment used, to put your hands in while the parts of the mechanism are working.
  • It is impossible to use conventional plows when plowing stony lands. This will lead to rapid tool failure and possible mechanical injury.
  • All replacements of working parts and parts are made only when the equipment is turned off.
  • The speed of plowing the land should not exceed 10 km/h on tractors and not more than 6 km/h on motoblocks.
  • It is necessary to timely repair and lubricate the working parts.
  • There are no traces of metal corrosion and cracks on the fastener.
  • It is forbidden to use massive unsuitable plows with walk-behind tractors. Incorrectly selected equipment will lead to the impossibility of plowing the site, breakage of the walk-behind tractor and tools.
