• Air smoke curtains VPZ-INNOVENT are designed for use together with fire doors of the 1st type.
• The possibility of using air curtains for other sanitary purposes is determined by the design organization of the customer.

Operating conditions

• The air curtains are designed for the 2nd category of placement according to GOST 15150T90 in temperate (U) and tropical (T) conditions.
• The maximum design temperature of the medium surrounding the air curtain is not more than 350 °C.
• The air supplied to the air curtain must not contain inclusions that are aggressive towards ordinary quality steels, explosive mixtures, sticky, fibrous and abrasive substances with a dust content of not more than 100 mg/m3.
• The air curtain operates in the outside air (air intake from the street - from shafts, air ducts, etc.). The air supply to the curtain must be carried out through heat-insulated ones. air ducts that ensure the air temperature at the fan inlet is not higher than +40 °С (+45 °С - for tropical version). The root-mean-square value of the vibration velocity of external sources of vibration at the installation sites of curtains should not exceed 2 mm/s.
• Further use of the air curtain that worked in case of fire is PROHIBITED.

Device and principle of operation

• Air curtain in the baseexecution consists of a fan and a distribution box. Curtains No. 2 can be equipped with removable support brackets. In the rest of the air curtains, the brackets are part of the fan.
• The electric motor included in the fan is connected directly without a terminal box. Use a heat-resistant cable to connect the motor to the mains. The cable is not included in the scope of delivery, but can be supplied on request with an indication of the length.
• The air distribution box must be placed horizontally above the gate on the side of the vehicle storage room. The air distribution box is attached to the fan without a flexible connector and delivers air to the door area parallel to its plane, protecting the entire width of the opening.
• Curtains with an air distribution box length of up to 4 m are delivered assembled (the fan and all elements of the air distribution box are interconnected). If the length of the air distribution box is more than 4 m, the air curtain is supplied in two or more assembly units with the corresponding marking.
• In accordance with the requirements of MGSN 5.01-01, the smoke curtain provides an air jet outflow velocity from the air distribution box of at least 10 m/s with an initial jet thickness of at least 0.03 m and a jet width of at least the width of the protected opening.
• The air curtain is switched on by a fire alarm signal.

Purpose and operating conditions

TZK-INNOVENT thermal curtains are designed for use in residential, civil and industrial buildings and premises to prevent the penetration of cold, hot air, dust, gases, etc. through open gates, doors and other openings. The possibility of using air curtains for primary or additional heating is decided individually, depending on the initial data received from the Customer, using a control system with additional options or a special design.
Curtains are used for air treatment with temperature from -40 0 С to +40 0 С (+45 0 С for tropical version), in conditions of temperate (U) and tropical (T) climate of the 2nd category of placement, not worse, according to GOST 15150.
In the air of the serviced premises, the presence of inclusions that are aggressive with respect to steels of ordinary quality, explosive mixtures, sticky, fibrous and abrasive substances, with a dust content of not more than 100 mg / m 3, is not allowed. Equipment

Air-thermal curtain TZK-INNOVENT consists of a power block, an air-distributing box and a flexible insert connecting the power block with an air-distributing box.
The power unit of the basic version includes:

The elements of the power block of sizes 1.6...3.15 are mounted on removable brackets, and the elements of the power block of sizes 4...6.3 are mounted on a common frame.
When ordering TZK-INNOVENT in a special version, a silencer and/or filter can be additionally included in the power unit, as well as other agreed requirements can be met.
Fan units for air curtains No. 1,6...4 can be made both in noise-damped version and without noise-damping. Fan units No. 5 and 6.3 are made only in noise-dampened version.
At the request of the customer, the air distribution box can be made of galvanized steel or steel of ordinary quality, followed by the application of a paint and varnish coating, including noise-damped version.
Air curtains operating in a humid environment, such as car washes, are equipped with special-design electric motors with IP54 protection degree and, in case of electric heating, with stainless steel heating elements.

Layout options for the execution of air-thermal curtains

Thermal air curtains TZK-INNOVENT are produced with various configurations of the power unit and distribution box.
The recommended arrangement of air curtains is with a vertical distribution box. Curtains with a horizontal arrangement of the box above the gate should be installed in exceptional cases, since when air is supplied from above, the probability of warm air being carried out of the room is much greater than with a side one- or two-sided supply.
As a standard, TZK-INNOVENT air curtains are produced with a distribution box, which ensures the flow exit from the slots parallel to the door plane. At the same time, in the event of a breakthrough of cold air into the room, most of the air heated in the curtain returns to the room.
The version of the air-thermal curtain is determined by the availability of free space in the gate area and the type of gate. In practice, a fan-thermal unit with a water or electric heat exchanger can be installed in any position and connected to the distribution box with a suitable adapter.
When installing curtains in a room with a low ceiling height, the power unit can be connected to the box with a swivel elbow - corner curtains A, B.

Particularly compact curtains

In the absence of free space above the gate, corner curtains, especially compact C, D, are used.
In some cases, it is preferable to use air curtains with one power unit operating on two distribution boxes - E, F. If adjacent gates are opened alternately, then air curtains with one power unit are installed in the intergate openings, designed to operate with air outlet on one of the sides - G, H; or the extra-compact version I. The boxes use motorized air dampers set in the closed position when the gate is closed. When one of the gate leaves is opened, the corresponding air valve opens automatically and the air supply is switched on.
In the absence of free space, particularly compact air curtains with a vertical box J or with a horizontal box - K, L are used. Air curtains with a steam heat exchanger have significantly fewer layout options due to a certain orientation of the air heater and cannot have a vertical arrangement of the power unit.
