How to choose the right color for linoleum. Dark linoleum What color is better linoleum for dark walls

to your room, you can proceed to the design of the future floor.

Room design is a creative matter, there are no universal solutions here. The same color in the shade and in the light, in natural and artificial light looks different. The same design also looks different in a large and small room. However, there are several recommendations compliance with which will allow you to create an interior that is correct in terms of color and geometry of the room.

When choosing the color of linoleum, it is necessary to take into account the color associations characteristic of a person:

  • Shades of green and yellow perfectly relieve fatigue;
  • Beige and muted shades of yellow give a feeling of warmth, coziness and comfort;
  • Turquoise associated with freshness (and therefore perfect for the bathroom);
  • Blue calms, relieves tension (good for negotiation); the blue color acts similarly - it is even capable of inducing drowsiness (therefore, it is often used in bedrooms);
  • Orange, yellow and red invigorate, tone up, cheer up, and also bring a feeling of warmth to cool rooms;
  • Grey ideally "creates" a working environment;
  • White- pure and cold color - can be an excellent basis for bold design decisions, but is rarely used without a bright, contrasting "pair", as in large quantities it can cause discomfort;
  • Black good in small quantities (accents) - to give a special, sophisticated style to the room; in combination with white and red forms a minimalist "Japanese" interior.

You also need to take into account the brightness / saturation of the color and its coldness / warmth.

As you know, colors are divided into warm and cold.

  • blue or blue colors are considered the coldest,
  • the warmest is orange.

On the play of warm and cold colors, the bulk of design techniques are based.

  • To visually expand the room, it is necessary to use cold light colors.
  • To make the room more comfortable, chamber is recommended to use warm shades.
  • warm colors add light and warmth to the interior,
  • Cold- coolness and tranquility.
  • warm tones make a dark north room "warmer"
  • Cold shades Refresh a sun-drenched room on a hot summer day.
  • Bright, saturated colors set the style of the room, attract attention, invigorate, delimit the space (and therefore ideal for accents).
  • Muted, light soothe, increase the room, "blurring" the boundaries of individual zones.

Consider and use geometry in flooring design

  • You can visually expand a narrow room, by simply running the "wooden" design diagonally across rooms or across long walls

  • j| natural materials(wood, stone, etc.) and their high-quality imitations make the premises “more expensive” and “greener”.
  • « Board" designs(palace parquet, parquet or, wider, deck board) due to the soft texture of wood and warm colors make the room more comfortable and calmer.

Color sets the style and mood, and it is very important that the finishing elements look harmonious. Consider the basic recommendations on what color linoleum to choose.

  1. To make the floor stand out against the general background, its tone should be in contrast to the wallpaper or furniture. However, the interior must contain items that match the color of linoleum: textiles, figurines, vases, etc. This will create harmony.
  2. If the room lacks comfort, choose flooring in warm pastel colors.
  3. Under light walls choose a coating of saturated colors, even if they are pastel and unobtrusive.
  4. In combination with a floor carpet, wood-like linoleum will look best.
  5. A reddish-orange floor covering must be in harmony with some other decor.
  6. If the room is made in warm colors, then a black floor is not suitable for it.
  7. Dark linoleum is best placed in the room where there is light furniture.
  8. A light floor is more practical than a dark one, because dust, stains, and small debris are not visible on it. This is especially true for the kitchen - after laying dark linoleum, it will have to be cleaned at least twice a day.

What color to choose linoleum for an apartment?

Monochromatic Solutions

When choosing a monochromatic coating, general design rules apply. Bright colors add dynamics to the room, warm and pastel colors add coziness, citrus fruits create a joyful atmosphere. Among the most popular and easy to visually perceive are shades of brown and pistachio, golden yellow and beige tones.

For an interior in the style of minimalism, hi-tech and other modern trends, a white coating is suitable. It will add air, light. However, it is worth remembering that such linoleum will deprive the room of comfort and will require constant and thorough care. The retro style, English, classic "shown" shades of coffee with milk, sandy-beige gamma.

Most often, linoleum is chosen for the kitchen as a practical and inexpensive option. A warm and family atmosphere is important in this room, which the following shades will help to create:

  • green;
  • light brown;
  • red-brown;
  • deep yellow;
  • grey-green;
  • woody.

Linoleum and door color

If you need to choose linoleum in some small room (kitchen, bedroom, hallway, office), then it is better to give preference to the coating, the color of which will be combined with the doors.

Plinth is an important detail that unites the floor and doors. If the door is dark, and you want to “play” on the contrast by laying a light floor, then you can choose any color of the plinth: either to match the door or the floor. If the linoleum is darker, then the plinth is chosen in the color of the door.

Linoleum with a pattern

If you like patterned flooring, then you should remember that a brightly detailed ornament will make the room more dynamic (which, for example, is not the best option for a bedroom). A muted pattern, on the contrary, will soothe.

A drawing that imitates wooden boards will help visually adjust the room. Laid across an overly long room, it will visually “shorten” it. If the drawing goes along a long wall, then the room will seem even longer.

If linoleum imitates large square tiles, then the room will visually appear smaller. Small tiles or a mosaic pattern will make the room visually larger.

What not to do

  1. Do not match linoleum to the color of the curtains - the room will be overloaded and heavy for visual perception.
  2. If there are vases, poufs, chairs with hidden legs on the floor, then their color should differ from the shade of linoleum. Otherwise, an unpleasant impression will be created that the floor and furniture are a single relief.
  3. Shades of brown and other dark shades are only suitable for bright rooms that receive the sun for most of the day. However, it is worth remembering that fading and color deformation over time is inevitable.

For a long period of time, linoleum was valued solely for its cost-effectiveness, as well as ease of installation.

Now this flooring material can be used in original and fashionable interior spaces.

Magnificent decors, a variety of shades and originality of textures were duly noted by experienced artists and talented designers.

Thrifty owners have long appreciated a good linoleum for the kitchen, since it is absolutely not afraid of humidity, it does not deform, it is easy to clean and resists pathogens.

At the same time, this floor covering has a more affordable price in comparison, for example, with parquet, which, despite its external attractiveness, does not have the advantages of linoleum.

natural linoleum

If you are wondering which linoleum to choose for the kitchen, pay attention to natural linoleum.

It is made from natural materials. At the same time, the production process has remained virtually unchanged since the invention of this coating.

However, now natural linoleum for the kitchen has more juicy shades and extraordinary decor. It is hygienic and safe to use, has a long period of operation, is not afraid of fires, the negative effects of cleaning products.

Despite all the advantages, this coating has a minus - the cost, because the analogue of synthetic origin is much cheaper.

Linoleum artificial

Created from polyvinyl chloride and has its own characteristics, but its service life is not long. The covering is issued heterogeneous (multilayer) or homogeneous (single-layer).

As for the best linoleum for the kitchen, it is advisable to choose a semi-commercial rather than a household option, since it is less susceptible to deformation due to mechanical influence due to the reliability and thickness of the protective layer.

Shades and decorations

Linoleum in the interior of the kitchen attracts with a variety of design designs and shades. Manufacturers of natural coatings give it a rich color scheme that does not fade over the years.

As for decor, linoleum perfectly imitates natural materials, in particular, ceramics, stone, wood. A popular decorative design that imitates marquetry, a board made of natural wood.

Extraordinary shades and original design will appeal to those people who like experiments.

An excellent solution is the use of plain colorful linoleum with a relief structure in a modern kitchen space. One of the traditional solutions is a ceramic coating, but PVC tiles are also suitable.

However, if you are thinking that it is better to choose tiles or linoleum for the kitchen, then be guided by your preferences.

Another win-win option can be the use of narrow rectangular planks that imitate herringbone or butt parquet.

Such elements allow you to experiment with styling methods and form a delightful ornament. To verify this, see the photo of linoleum for the kitchen below.

The quality of linoleum can be determined independently by paying attention to its weight and density.

How to choose linoleum by color

- flexibility;
- thermal conductivity;
- water absorption;
- sound absorption.

Manufacturers produce a variety of types of flooring. You can often see linoleum in the interior of residential and office premises, the living room.

Linoleum in the interior

Its types differ in the materials used in the manufacture, color, texture and other qualities.

How to choose the right one for an apartment?

There are several types of linoleum depending on the material from which it is made:

  • from natural structures - such linoleum in the interior looks beautiful and usually contains wood resin, cork flour, lime or linseed oil. The great advantage of natural linoleum is its environmental friendliness, the floor will not emit harmful substances, which allows you to use this structure even for children's rooms, bedrooms or living rooms;
  • from rubber - relin. The coating is two-layer: its base consists of bitumen or recycled rubber, and the upper part is made of synthetic rubber. The advantage of this floor is that it has a high degree of resistance to moisture, making it easy to care for, and you can lay this linoleum in the bathroom or kitchen;
  • from PVC - polyvinyl chloride. There are 3 types of bases for this type - foamed, fabric and non-woven heat-insulating. This coating can be single or multilayer. Such commercial linoleum in the interior has a persistent smell that persists for a long time, and strong shrinkage;
  • alkyd - giftal. The basis of such materials consists of alkyd resins and pigments. The advantage of such linoleum is excellent heat and sound insulation, the disadvantage is fragility;
  • nitrocellulose - collokeilin. This coating does not have a base, it is also distinguished by elasticity, moisture resistance and a glossy surface. Minus - a high degree of flammability.

Modern linoleum in the interior is also classified according to the type of structure. For example, baseless is a coating with a height of one and a half to 3 millimeters. Advantage - low cost, disadvantages - the need to level the surface before laying, fragility.

Basic or commercial - the difference between this floor is that it has a fabric, non-woven or thermal insulation substrate. The advantage is elasticity, due to which the flooring with a tile pattern or other design options can be laid even on uneven floors.

Homogeneous is a flooring mixture of PVC granules and dye. Due to the fact that the color of linoleum is not only on the top layer, but throughout the entire thickness, it will not rub off. Therefore, they can cover the floor, for example, in the hallway.

Heterogeneous consists of several PVC layers, up to 6. It has a woven, non-woven or foam backing.

Features of light linoleum

Many consider light-colored wall and wood flooring impractical, but it has many advantages:

  • pale laminate, parquet or linoleum in the interior visually increases the area of the room;
  • serves as a backdrop for dark-colored furniture, helps create contrast and emphasizes accents;
  • is universal and fits almost any style of design;
  • white laminate, parquet reflects light and makes the room more spacious.

White or other similar types of wood-like or tile-like linoleum, with a pattern, it is important to choose the right one. On such a coating, dirt is very noticeable, so it is not recommended to lay modern linoleum in the hallway, kitchen, bedroom or children's room. If poor-quality material is chosen for the hall, then the floor may acquire a yellow tint over time. A room with a lot of light and glossy surfaces of soft colors may seem uncomfortable, so you need a combination of dark and warm shades.

Dark tones

Tips for choosing dark tone textures:

  • gray or dark color of linoleum for a small apartment hall can visually reduce the room, so this option is recommended for laying in halls with a large area;
  • a dark tone floor is best used where there are a lot of light colors. Thus, the bedroom will not look gloomy, and the contrasting combination of dark and light always looks good;
  • if the design project still involves the predominance of the dark, it is necessary to provide bright light, both natural and artificial;
  • it must be taken into account when choosing that such a floor is not as practical as it might seem, dust, stains and stains from water are clearly visible on it. It is better to choose options with a tile pattern or other design;
  • the matte surface of dark linoleum requires more careful maintenance than the glossy one, which is taken into account when choosing;
  • so that gray commercial or natural linoleum does not look gloomy, you can use delicate pastel colors in the kitchen or other room, or, conversely, bright and juicy ones.

How to choose the right linoleum for the walls and interior

Linoleum is considered the easiest floor covering to install. It is chosen because of its affordable price, ease of installation, environmental safety.

Linoleum does not require special care, it is enough to wash, vacuum or sweep it.

Choosing the right color for linoleum

Before you buy linoleum, think about whether you want a uniform or multi-layered, patterned or plain quality coating. The quality of linoleum can be determined independently by paying attention to its weight and density.

Heavy is considered the best, it is less torn, does not squeeze through, this is ensured by the high content of PVC.

Signs of quality linoleum:
- linoleum should not have unpleasant odors;
- it should not have a greasy sheen;
- the drawing must be clearly marked;
- linoleum should have a relief surface;
- manufacturers of high-quality linoleum always put their logo;
- the step of the drawing should be from 1-1.5 meters.

Polyvinyl chloride linoleum is very popular, it has sound and heat insulation characteristics, it is also called household linoleum. Household linoleum consists of a polyurethane protective layer, a working layer of chemical foam, fiberglass and a substrate.

The main characteristics of household linoleum are:
- flexibility;
- thermal conductivity;
- water absorption;
- sound absorption.

Linoleum is laid with and without glue.
With the help of linoleum, you can correct and eliminate some of the shortcomings that are present in the apartment, pick it up so that it blends with the surrounding interior and walls. With high ceilings in the rooms, dark-colored linoleum is used, and the walls should be, on the contrary, light.

You can visually increase the height of the ceiling by darkening the side walls; light-colored linoleum should lie on the floor. Dark linoleum looks perfect with light walls, it helps to expand the space and gives the interior a personality.

Dark walls do not combine with dark linoleum, this creates the effect of a basement in the room. You can decorate the walls and floor in light colors - visually increasing the size of the room, but you must take into account the fact that the abundance of soft colors in the interior can give it a facelessness. If the room is very large, you can reduce it with the help of light-colored linoleum and dark walls.

When choosing linoleum, consider which side the windows in the room face. Cold tones, suitable for a room located on the sunny side, these are shades of blue, gray. If little sunlight enters the room, you can visually lighten the interior with lemon, pistachio, apricot color.

Having decided on the color scheme of the interior, choose the color of linoleum. The coating should be easy to clean, beautiful, durable. Many interior designers agree that the floor should not attract much attention, ideally it should play the role of an assistant in the perception of the surrounding interior.

black linoleum

Before the owners who decide to make repairs in the apartment, sooner or later the question arises of replacing the flooring. And many prefer linoleum. Black linoleum in the interior

How to choose the color of linoleum in 2018

It should be remembered that for such a floor covering there must be an appropriate frame. Furniture, walls, ceiling, doors and all accessories in the room should be in harmony with black. An important place when using black linoleum is given to proper lighting in the room. Black linoleum looks great in combination with a white or pastel interior.

Most often, black linoleum can be found in the kitchen, although these floors are also found in the living room and hallway. At the same time, the room with such a coating will look stylish, noble and solid. It should be remembered that the care of the black floor must be thorough and regular, since any dirt is easily visible on it.

A competent approach to choosing the color of linoleum allows you to guarantee the optimal combination of shades with each other. This is especially important in residential premises, where both without specialists and with their involvement, they strive to make professional design repairs. As a result, many are asking, of course, the actual question of how to choose the color of linoleum and not make any mistakes here. This is sometimes not as easy as it might seem at first glance.

You can choose this material in building boutiques in the market, a specialized store or through an online store. In the first case, it is possible to see linoleum cuts right on the spot. Guaranteed to make a purchase to the client, some companies are even ready to give a minimum size of prototypes with them. With them, you can present the finished version right on the spot by attaching each copy directly to the floor. In hardware stores, you can also be offered the samples mentioned, but not always. From time to time, a lot will rest on the lack of some specific colors, so the client can be given a catalog with photographs of the desired items in a more complete range than it is presented in the store itself. Finding the right purchase over the Internet is easier in the sense that everyone can review many sites and settle on the terms of sale that are most suitable for him. At the same time, as you understand, without looking up from the computer. But here, as in the case of the catalog, at best you will see photos of samples. And the images are periodically processed for different purposes. That is, the shades may not be conveyed so accurately. It is better to take this into account so as not to encounter an unpleasant surprise in the end.

Linoleum color and practicality

Linoleum, just like any floor covering, will more often than others experience the negative impact of active use. In practice, this means that more often than other surfaces, which is natural, they will sweep, wash, rub, scrape and perform other manipulations for the purpose of cleaning. It is he who will also encounter rather aggressive chemical cocktails more often than other materials in the house. In order not to increase this number of relevant meetings, it is worth choosing linoleum of a not very easily soiled and not very bright color. On these, any stains and scratches will be noticeable. Therefore, if you do not know how to choose the color of linoleum, then, firstly, this aspect must be taken into account, and secondly, do not rush to extremes and do not choose something too gloomy or dull. After all, with all the significant amount of choice on the market, you can find a suitable shade, especially if you try.

Much depends on the room for which linoleum is intended. Very often, as a floor covering, it is laid in the kitchen. This room should have a warm, pleasant and family atmosphere. Therefore, a variety of light brown, dark beige, grayish brown, ceramic, red-brown, grayish-brick, as well as gray-green and green shades are suitable. Of course, with the appropriate design and suitable shades of the walls, moderately blue options with grayish patches, all woody shades, and in general forest ones can also look good. You can use darker options if the linoleum pattern is interspersed with lighter stripes. It is not very difficult to remove dirt and traces of grease from such a floor. And such situations are frequent in the kitchen.

The issue of practicality is of great importance when choosing linoleum in the hallway, corridor, balcony and bathroom. For the hallway and corridor, it is better to choose not very easily soiled colors with a medium-sized pattern. For wood solutions, it is better to use skirting boards from a similar material. The finished version will look more profitable. With regard to the balcony, you can afford a lighter range, for example, beige, light chestnut, a pattern interspersed with ivory. It will be especially good in aesthetic terms for balconies lined with wood. For the bathroom, you need to find something in green or blue tones.

Linoleum in residential and office premises

For residential premises, it is worth choosing linoleum to match the walls.

Linoleum colors: popular colors and combination rules

Here you can not limit yourself to practicality issues as much as it was with the kitchen or the hallway. Do not forget that this material is practical and generally easy to clean. Keep in mind that a dark floor will make the room visually smaller and lower. In addition, it will draw attention to itself and to the objects lying on it. But in office space it is worth using dark specimens to emphasize a strict, rather business style. It is also taken into account that they will walk on such linoleum in shoes.

Here you can find options for aged wood, fashionable bleached wood, boards, parquet, completely repeating the structure of valuable types of materials. Modern technologies allow you to create a coating that at first glance does not differ from the original materials. Light floors under a natural oak are considered the most popular.

The choice of light linoleum on the floor makes it possible to get a high-quality stylish coating for little money.

How to choose the color of linoleum?

Such material can be used in any room - from a small bedroom to a spacious living room. By choosing the right tone, shade and texture, you can get a floor of amazing beauty.

Floor covering plays a primary role in the interior of any room. Along with the decoration of the walls, the choice of furniture and the design of window openings, the finished look of the interior, its integrity and harmony depend on the flooring. In addition, the floor covering also plays the main functional role, because the floor is exposed to mechanical stress and pollution more than anything else. Therefore, the choice of flooring is extremely important in thinking through the interior, whether it is a living room, an office or a hall of a public space.

Linoleum is one of the most inexpensive and practical options. among the variety and richness of the choice of building floor materials. It has not gone out of fashion for many decades in a row, and with the development of modern production technologies, this type of coating has increased its quality significantly, and has also become able to imitate any of the existing materials.

Advantages and disadvantages

Like any product, linoleum has a number of pros and cons that it is advisable to know in advance so as not to make a mistake in choosing. This is important because the floor is covered for several years in advance, and its operation will be constant and intensive.

Let's start with the advantages, since linoleum surpasses many finishing materials in its qualities:

  • The undoubted advantages of this coating include its affordable price and ease of installation. Compared to more expensive tile or laminate flooring options, linoleum stands out in price range, is easy to transport, and doesn't take long to install. In some cases, it is enough to simply unfold the roll on the floor space, like a carpet, and fix it.
  • The high heat and sound insulation properties of linoleum will make it possible to insulate the floor, covering the surface with a solid sheet that does not allow drafts to pass through possible small cracks or gaps at the joints with the wall. Thermal insulation is especially needed in apartments located above the basement or arch of the house, basement floors, as well as country houses.

  • Another important advantage of linoleum is its practicality in everyday life. Linoleum is resistant to moisture and cleaning with chemical detergents. The one-piece coating prevents water from entering the joints, wetting the substrate and the floor, which provides protection against the occurrence of fungus, mold and decay processes.
  • As a rule, a modern type of linoleum undergoes fire and sanitary-technical examination, these parameters can always be found with the manufacturer by asking for quality certificates for the goods.

The disadvantages include factors such as:

  • brittleness at low temperatures. When transporting the material in frosty time, special care must be taken, it is necessary to let it warm up when folded into a roll before laying it on the floor;
  • specific smell of new material in some types of linoleum. Discomfort is eliminated by ventilation. It is advisable to keep the room for one or two days after laying the linoleum, so that the smell completely disappears;
  • the formation of dents from heavy objects. Linoleum itself is a soft material, and with a substrate, the likelihood of it being squeezed under the corners of bulky furniture increases.

Varieties

Linoleum is distinguished by thickness, protective layer and susceptibility to abrasion. According to these parameters, linoleum is divided into three main categories - household, commercial and semi-commercial:

  • Household linoleum- the most inexpensive option. It is quite thin, but this does not affect the quality of the coverage of domestic premises, where the load on the floor is not so significant.
  • Commercial(or industrial) type of linoleum is used most often in halls that involve a large crowd of people, offices, corridors of institutions, shops. The material is the most dense, withstanding maximum loads, resistant to abrasion and the weight of objects. However, its price is also significantly higher, so this type of linoleum is not appropriate in an ordinary apartment.
  • semi-commercial linoleum- something between household and commercial material. This option will successfully justify itself in the living room of the house, where crowded companies often gather or in the reception room of the authorities' office.

Material composition

The composition of the materials used linoleum also has significant differences:

  • So, household linoleum is most often made from fiberglass, which is then covered with a dense protective film.
  • Polyvinyl chloride in the composition of linoleum is used, as a rule, in several layers and provides increased strength of the material. Such linoleum does not require perfectly flat surfaces for laying.
  • Foam-based linoleum is quite dense and flexible, it is an excellent heat and sound insulator. Thanks to the thick protective film, it does not leave dents from heavy objects.

Each type of material must be accompanied by documentation with a feature of its composition. All kinds of compounds can be added to the above indicated, providing additional strength, layers of material for insulation and stiffness, coatings to reduce slip, bright colors, antibacterial and antistatic substances.

Design

In modern conditions of production of floor coverings, the choice of linoleum design can be quite difficult. Therefore, before embarking on an exciting journey through colors and decor, it is worth deciding on your own view of interior design, identifying priorities. After all, no matter how beautiful the pattern and color of the flooring may be, it must be in harmony with the atmosphere of the room, with its purpose, with the walls and pieces of furniture.

How to choose by color?

Ornament, warmth and brightness of shades, surface texture - let's try to understand the main subtleties and nuances of the variety of products offered:

  • light shades of flooring visually expand the space. This also applies to canvases with diagonal patterns;
  • dark tones give respectability to spacious rooms if they contrast with light walls;

  • The ensemble of linoleum doors looks stylish. Linoleum under the doors of wenge in a room with light walls will be the perfect frame for the classic style. Light tones of the floor covering, continuing in the color of the doors, will also become a kind of highlight, will complete the idea of the interior, if it is a question of strict compliance with respectable styles;

  • on light linoleum, dark furniture stands out brighter, and vice versa;
  • rich ornament and bright colors of linoleum are good for a plain, calm wall surface. In the case of a bright design of both walls and flooring, the space runs the risk of turning into a multi-colored box. Such a design will overload the space and tire the eye;
  • for the south direction of the apartment, cold shades of linoleum are preferable, and for the north - warm;

  • the glossy smooth surface creates an atmosphere of solemnity of the ballroom, but in bright sunlight it is best seen on it stains, dust particles and scratches;
  • a matte finish with a rough texture is unpretentious and able to hide minor flaws in the floor.

How to choose?

The design of linoleum is determined by its purpose for a particular room:

  • Hallway. For the hallway, linoleum of dark discreet shades with a rough texture and a pattern of small ripples is best suited. Such a coating will maximally mask the room into which dirt is brought from the street or entrance. The choice of color will be absolutely justified in the autumn-spring period, when footprints remain, despite all the efforts of the hostess to keep clean.

  • Living room. The choice in the hall can be the most diverse, depending on your preferences and the dimensions of the room. Brown color or any shades that imitate noble wood species are perfect for elegant styles (classic, art deco, modern). No less luxurious will look and linoleum under bleached oak. This option is suitable for a spacious living room, combined with dark or, conversely, bright saturated shades of furniture and curtains.

If the living room is spacious and involves a lot of furniture-free space, then the glossy shining linoleum will give the room solemnity and elegance.

  • Kitchen. Perhaps the most diverse choice of linoleum belongs to the kitchen. Here you can not take into account the severity of style, the appropriateness of the color and structure of linoleum. The only guideline can be the color scheme of the wall cladding and the kitchen set.

The combination of light and dark shades must be observed when one of the parts is dark. That is, under a light beige set in the kitchen, you can choose both light shades of linoleum and dark ones. But for dark or bright walls and furniture, you need a light floor covering so that the room does not look gloomy or oversaturated.

Material stylized as marble, stone, tile is also suitable for the kitchen. A warmer atmosphere will be created by linoleum under a tree or straw. There are options for a log saw cut or a wicker basket ornament.

  • Bedroom. The options for the bedroom are no less diverse, it all depends on your personal perception of color and the overall style of the room. Even if a certain style is not supposed in the bedroom, then you can follow the basic rule - a combination with wallpaper will provide a harmonious environment, will not disturb the eye, and will allow you to relax peacefully.

For example, cream wallpapers with an unobtrusive coffee pattern are perfect for linoleum under white parquet. Or a pastel range of wallpapers in blue, pink, light green, lilac tones.

  • Children's room. In the nursery, bright colored linoleum canvases will look good. They are not too easily soiled and color perception will be useful for a child. It can be a light coating with multi-colored geometric shapes, and gentle tones that gently repeat the color of a bed or a desk, and a three-dimensional drawing of fairy-tale characters.

Again, the balance between the intensity of the colors of the walls and the floor should be considered so that they do not merge and cause ripples in the eyes.
