Building fences are protective and warning structures that mark the perimeter of the area for construction and repair work, and do not allow outsiders to enter it. According to current regulations, enclosing structures are installed during work, regardless of duration.

Even short-term repairs require an appropriate barrier. And extremely rarely on a construction site, stationary deaf structures made of profiled sheet or timber are needed. Orange plastic fencing mesh solves the problems that are assigned to a temporary fence.

  1. Noticeable fence. The bright grid is visible from afar and attracts attention, noticeable even at night.
  2. Neat look. A canvas with square, rectangular cells of a bright or muted color looks aesthetically pleasing. Visual permeability meets the requirements of urban planning departments in Russian cities.
  3. Cheapness. Fencing a construction site from a plastic mesh is cheaper than from metal, timber.

It is easier to install, quickly mounted with plastic posts and can be used repeatedly.

Emergency fence - characteristics

The network has the following features.

  • Made from polyethylene or polypropylene. Polyethylene resistant to low temperatures, can be used in winter. Polypropylene is stronger, looks like a lattice and does not sag. Resistant to wind gusts, mechanical stress, durable.
  • Resistant to external influences. Frost resistance of the mesh for temporary fencing is -40…-60оС. UV resistance is provided by light stabilizers in the polymer structure. Thanks to light stabilizers, plastic retains its strength and elasticity in the sun.
  • Durable. The service life is five years. During this period, the grating may be applied intermittently or continuously.
  • Not afraid of moisture. Plastic, unlike metal and wood, is not susceptible to precipitation. Corrosion and rotting are excluded, staining and other maintenance of the fence is not required.

These features are possessed by gratings made of polyethylene and polypropylene in red, orange, black, gray and other colors.

Application of emergency barriers

Use lightweight, inexpensive designs to install barriers:

  • building spots;
  • excavation site, communications;
  • places of landscaping and improvement;
  • road repair and construction site;
  • object during the repair of the facade, roof.

For installation, choose plastic supports, posts or metal racks for quick fixation to the ground.

Temporary building fences.

Designed for operational fencing of work sites or other situations where a prefabricated temporary fence is required. The design allows you to organize a fence of arbitrary shape in plan, in areas with a variable profile. Thanks to the different types of supports offered, from removable and welded metal to concrete, you can get different stability. For example, when fencing a well, when it is enough to put 3 sections in a “triangle”, you can do without supports at all, using union connecting rings from above. On the other hand, when operating a fence near a moving stream of cars during roadwork, increased stability is required, since a fence placed in a straight line is less stable, as well as a strong wind effect of cars. In this situation, you can increase stability by using heavy concrete supports such as Block-10 or 25. These supports have several holes, including those from the edge of the block, so when moving along the fence, you will not trip over the supports.

Advantages of building fences of our production:

  • Increased strength characteristics due to stiffening ribs or frame.
  • 2 options for supports: metal base-supports, as well as universal concrete blocks that provide confident stability.
  • ISO branded welded mesh guards are zinc coated, which significantly increases the service life of products, preventing corrosion.
  • Lightweight sections.
At the moment, fences are produced in 5 sizes, from 1.2 to 2m, from 4 mm thick rigid wire. The railings have an anti-corrosion zinc coating. At the request of the customer, the products can be additionally painted. Thanks to the molded 3-d mesh/frame structure profile, we have a rigid and lightweight structure. In the version with removable legs or blocks, the sections are extremely compact and convenient to stack and transport. We store the sections in 3m high stacks, holding up to 100 sections. If necessary, the sections are easily moved with a forklift.
And most importantly, our inventory building fences are always in stock.

Options for the use of building fences:

  • construction site fencing
  • division of storage areas
  • fencing installation work
  • commissioning fencing
  • pit fencing
  • fencing of areas of cultural events
  • fencing of temporary parking lots
  • roadwork fencing

Allowed:
- local absence of zinc coating in the places of welding (does not impair the anti-corrosion qualities of the product, since the electrochemical effect of zinc is preserved) and other defects according to GOST 9.307-89 (ISO 1461-89);
- a slight change in the pitch and diameter of the bars in the grids within the tolerances in accordance with GOST R ISO 13920-2017 and GOST 3282-74;
- the presence of single defects in welds (pores, cracks, lack of penetration, etc.) according to STO 02494680-0046-2005;
- the presence of small splashes of metal, paint chips, burrs, distortions, local deflections, etc. on metal supports;
- the presence of slight damage formed during the transportation of the product and not violating the operational properties.

A construction site is a place of increased risk, since large-sized equipment is working there, heavy, sharp materials are used that can pose a danger to human health. Therefore, the area of construction, repair of the structure should be surrounded by a fence. According to the law, the presencebuilding fencetemporary type is necessary at all facilities before they are put into operation.

What should be the temporary fencing of the construction site, its functionality is regulated by two regulatory documents:

  • "Organization of construction industry" - the norms and rules of 1985 (SNiP 0.01.01-85);
  • GOST 23407-78 of 1979

According toSNiP 3.01.01-85, the construction site must be surrounded by a protective fence in order to comply with safety regulations.GOST23407-78 regulates the use of temporary barriers. The main provisions of the document:

  1. The construction of the structure cannot be started without the installation of a temporary fence of the construction site.
  2. The protective structure must be assembled / disassembled, made in the same style.
  3. Gates and gates should be provided in the fence for the passage of people working at the facility, transport;
  4. The fence must be reliable and resistant to loads (precipitation, gusts of wind, mechanical damage), withstand a weight of 200 kg / cm 2.
  5. The fence must be built from rectangular panels 1.2-2 m long and 1.2 m high.
  6. Materials for the construction of the fence must have a quality certificate and a service life of at least 10 years.
  7. On the outer side of the fence, a sidewalk with a width of at least 1.2 m should be equipped so that passers-by can move freely along it. It must be equipped with a protective canopy and railings. The visor is constructed at an inclination of 20 ° so that it completely covers the sidewalk and protects people passing there from precipitation and rain runoff. .

Important: according to regulationsrequirements, the design should not have sharp, traumatic parts.

Types of construction site fencing

By appointment, fences around the sites where construction is underway are:

  • signal - visually indicate the boundaries of the zone of increased danger. They are represented by a special tape fixed between pins hammered into the ground;
  • protective - help to avoid possible injuries. These include a facade mesh that catches everything that falls from scaffolding;
  • security - the purpose of installing which is to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the construction site. They are fences constructed from various materials.

According to the complexity of the construction of fencing construction sites can be:

  • standard - simple structures in the form of a wall;
  • with additional details - fences, complete with visors, sidewalks, struts, railings.

Tip: if the construction is designed for a short time, the best option would be to install a standard barrier, which will be inexpensive.

Structurally, building fences are distinguished:

  • rack - is a rack fixed in the slabs of the roadway;
  • panel - fences surrounding the construction site with a solid or sparse (mesh) wall;
  • combined - are a combination of the two previous varieties.

Materials used for the manufacture of protective fences

Temporary fences for the construction site consist of:

  • supports;
  • frame;
  • filling.

They can be made from:

  • plastic;
  • metal;
  • tree;
  • slate.

Note: the material for erecting a protective fence must be of high quality and comply with established standards.

Plastic

Thanks to modern technology, the list of building materials has expanded. It included plastic structures, from which it is also possible to build a temporary fence for construction.

Plastic fencing can be presented in the form of a polymer mesh stretched between milestones. Due to its bright coloring, it is noticeable on the ground, which contributes to the performance of its signaling function.

Tip: steel wire threaded along its edges will strengthen such a fence.

A popular temporary fence is the construction of their plastic blocks, on the upper edges of which polycarbonate sheets are fixed. Such a fence consists of typesetting sections, so its length can be changed.

Plastic fencing has the following advantages:

  • resistance to the influence of environmental factors. Plastic tolerates temperature extremes well, it is not afraid of corrosion, high humidity;
  • ease of installation. The material has a small weight, so products from it can be transferred and installed by one person;
  • ease of care. Plastic is given a certain color in the factory - products made from it do not need additional painting, they are easy to wash;
  • affordable price. Artificial material is cheaper than natural wood or metal.

Note: according to current regulations, a plastic fence can be used. However, it cannot be used for large-scale construction, requiring the construction of solid fences of a protective and security type.

Wood

Wood attracts with its naturalness and affordable cost, but a building fence is erected from it only if the material is planned to be used in the future.

Installation of a wooden fence is carried out quickly, but the structure must be additionally treated with antiseptic agents that will ensure its protection from fire and decay. The cost of such a fence depends on the type of raw materials, prices for impregnating compositions.

Metal

The simplest and most affordable type of temporary construction metal fencing is a chain-link mesh. It is easy to install, portable and reusable. The mesh is mounted on a frame made of professional pipes and equal-shelf angles. But this material, like plastic, is not used in large-scale construction.

A more popular option is inventory building fences. They are sections of profiled mesh, allowing you to quickly build a temporary fence of arbitrary shape. The supports of these structures can be metal or concrete, which allows you to create enclosing structures of different stability.

The most expensive option for metal fencing for construction sites is the use of corrugated board. These are strong, but at the same time thin steel sheets with a protective polymer coating.

The fence made of profiled sheet consists of supports and a frame sheathed with metal shields. It has high strength, durability, resistance to moisture, unpretentious maintenance, easy to install.

Slate

From a decade ago, temporary slate fences were common. But in modern conditions, the material has lost its position in the construction market. It attracts with its affordable cost, easy installation, but is very fragile, prone to the formation of fungus, has an unattractive appearance.

The choice of material for the construction of a temporary fence is carried out based on the specific situation. For large-sized construction, a reliable protective and security fence (for example, from corrugated board) will be required. When performing small work, a plastic or mesh fence will suffice.

Note: if the construction work will be short, you can not spend money on buying a fence, but rent it.

The device of temporary fencing allows you to secure the construction, avoid injury to people, the occurrence of accidents. The construction of a protective fence must be approached with all responsibility, act in accordance with the established norms and rules, since neglecting them can threaten serious consequences.
