Collector module MKT SOTIS-Unit is designed to connect consumers to the UUTEM-E metering unit on the floor, control the distribution of heat carrier between consumers and organize individual metering of heat energy consumption. Depending on the modification, the module can also perform the functions of conditional adjustment (limitation) of the coolant flow in apartment heating circuits or precise hydraulic balancing of apartment heating circuits.
The collector module is supplied assembled as part of the UUTEM-E metering unit, or as a kit for assembly directly at the facility. Assembly of the collector module and its installation on the pipeline must be carried out by specialists with the necessary qualifications, in accordance with the drawing given in the Technical Description.
The collector module can be installed on the pipeline in any of two mounting positions: horizontal or vertical.
With a horizontal installation of the collector module, which is used in most cases, heat meters (heat meters) are located vertically. If heat meters provide the required level of measurement accuracy only when they are operated in a horizontal position, the collector module must be installed vertically on the pipeline.
The collector module is installed on the pipeline by connecting it to the input module using connecting elements, such as nipples, fittings, connectors with an "American" cap nut, etc. The connections of the collector module to the input module and pipelines of apartment heating circuits are threaded. As a seal of these connections, sanitary flax with sealing paste or a special plumbing thread should be used. Installation must be carried out using open-end wrenches or adjustable wrenches.
The connections of the individual elements of the collector module to each other are threaded detachable, their installation must be carried out using open-end or adjustable wrenches. Before hydraulic testing of the heating system, it is mandatory to pull all detachable connections!
(VT.GPM) The storey unit is used in water heating systems of apartment buildings to distribute thermal energy to individual consumers and account for its consumption (when installing a heat meter). In addition, the module allows hydraulic balancing of consumers with each other.
Also, a storey unit for apartment-by-apartment metering of thermal energy allows for service operations: air release, coolant cleaning, drainage and system filling.
The module is connected to the distribution common pipeline of the heating system (riser), the input location is left (L) or right (R). Horizontal apartment one-pipe and two-pipe heating systems are connected to the outputs of the node. The diameter of the connection to the risers of heating systems is ¾ or 1”.
The maximum heat carrier temperature is 95 ˚С, working pressure is 10 bar.
The unit is supplied assembled, by separate order the unit can be delivered disassembled for subsequent assembly on site. It can also be equipped with heat meters, pressure gauges and automatic air vents. The assembled units are pressure tested with a test pressure of 15 bar.
