There are 2 terminals - for domestic communications and international ones (the 2nd one is located in a new building). The waiting room is clean, there are ATMs, and the duty free has a number of shops selling souvenirs, alcohol, tobacco and the press (although the prices here are higher than in the city).
Across the road from the airport there is a large shopping center where you can pass the time while waiting for the plane. You can relax comfortably only by going to the city - there are no hotels near the airport, but this is not so significant, given the short distances (4 km from the station to the center). You can get to the city from the port on foot, admiring the local beauties along the way. There are scheduled buses and a network of taxis for tourists laden with luggage.
A little higher along the coast of the South China Sea is the resort of Nha Trang with the operating Cam Ranh Airport, located 50 km from the city. This is a relatively young port, which received international status in 2009. It occupies a small area, but, despite having only 1 runway, it serves more than 2 million passengers a year.
