Drainage of commercial water from the tank. Drainage tanks Drainage tanks for oil products

In fact, a drainage tank is a sealed reservoir for collecting liquid coming from the drainage system. Depending on the purpose, it can accumulate water (sedimentary, ground, waste or technical), liquid hydrocarbons (oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, etc.), alkalis, acids and other liquid substances. The contents can be in the tank for a short time and removed as it is filled, or for a long time, with proper storage.

Based on the specific operating conditions, relevant requirements are also put forward. The containers under consideration must have sufficient mechanical strength, the required volume, resistance to liquids inside and outside external factors, and durability.

Varieties of containers

First of all, drainage tanks are divided according to their purpose:

  1. . They are designed to protect residential buildings and outbuildings. Rain, melt, flood and waste water is discharged into them. Tanks are installed in private estates and suburban areas, when arranging their own drainage system.
  2. . They are in the enterprise protection system and can have various purposes. In addition to the function performed by household varieties, industrial tanks provide for the accumulation of various aggressive liquids that can appear during accidents, fuel spills, violations of technological regimes and other unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Medical containers. This is a special type of device that is used in the drainage of biological fluids removed from the body during human treatment. The most common thoracic drainage containers are used in cleaning the human pleural region.
  4. Containers for long-term storage of liquid. In fact, they do not differ from household or industrial types, but have additional structural elements that expand functionality. The most common options are fire and watering containers. In them, the water coming from the drainage system is not just disposed of, but used with benefit.

According to the location and method of installation, drainage tanks are divided into underground and outdoor types. For protective drainage, the first option is most often used. The underground tank is deepened into the ground, and only a hatch (or several hatches) remains outside for maintenance. The main advantages are saving the site area, increasing fire safety, weather protection, the possibility of fluid flow by gravity, no need for external design. The main disadvantage is a more complex and time-consuming installation.

Outdoor installation is used much less frequently, because. requires mandatory pumping equipment and clutters up the site. Thoracic containers are only portable, external.

According to the technical parameters, the main selection criterion is the volume of the tank. Typical tanks have a volume in the range of 1-100 m 3 (1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12.5, 16, 20, 25, 40, 50, 63 and 100 m 3). When ordering equipment, this parameter can be any, at the request of the buyer. In addition, according to the body material, drainage tanks are available in metal and plastic versions, and can also be made in the form of a concrete well (pouring or reinforced concrete rings).

Design features

A typical drainage tank is a cylindrical tank with spherical or cone-shaped ends. Its design includes the following elements:

  • metal (usually steel), plastic or composite case;
  • supports for installation in a horizontal or vertical position;
  • 2 necks with hatches: the first (working) - for supplying and pumping fluid, the second (inspection) - for carrying out the necessary work, incl. preventive and cleaning measures;
  • electric pump;
  • stairs to get inside.
  • control devices and necessary accessories.

The tank is completed with branch pipes and fittings for connecting the supply pipe, installing devices, connecting the ventilation system; protective and emergency valves; valves. As control devices are used: level gauge, thermometer, pressure gauge. Tanks can be equipped with heating devices to prevent liquid freezing. A hole for emergency discharge of liquid with shut-off valves, as well as valves for the discharge of evolved gas, must be provided.

Outdoor tanks must be protected from direct sunlight and precipitation.

Mounting Features

The most difficult is the installation of an underground tank. For her, a pit is dug according to the dimensions of the vessel. As a rule, the container is mounted on a foundation in the form of a reinforced concrete slab 20-40 cm thick. The body is located strictly horizontally, and the necks are directed strictly vertically. Moreover, the hatch of the necks should rise above the ground to a height of about 40-50 cm. On sandy (non-rocky soil), the container can be mounted without a plate, i.e. directly on the crushed stone pillow.

The case is mounted on standard supports and fastened to 2 metal strips. Then these strips are fixed with anchors on the slab. Further, a pipeline is brought from the drainage system and backfilled with soil.

After connecting the necessary equipment and installing all components, it is necessary to carry out pressure testing with a pressure of 0.2 MPa.

Water tanks

For private houses and suburban areas, their own drainage system is being equipped. When creating an isolated scheme, storage tanks are used - drainage tanks (wells). Finished structures have a steel or plastic case. In a home-made version, a sealed septic tank is often made of concrete rings.

The most popular are plastic containers with a volume of 1-5 m 3. They burrow into the ground and join the drainage of groundwater, sewage or storm water. To prevent freezing, the containers are covered with thermal insulation.

Among the popular models of water tanks are the following products:

  1. C1400: plastic case, volume - 1.4 m 3, dimensions - 1.3x1.6x!.55 m, weight - 60 kg. The average price is 17,500 rubles.
  2. C2000: plastic container with a volume of 2 m 3, dimensions - 1.3x2.27x!.55 m, weight - 80 kg. The average price is 23,500 rubles.
  3. S3000: volume - 3 m 3, dimensions - 1.3x3x1.5 m, weight - 120 kg. The average price is 33200 rubles.
  4. U 2000: plastic container with a volume of 2 m 3, dimensions - 1.2x2.8x1.9 m. Price - from 38,000 rubles.
  5. Aquastore-5: plastic case, volume - 5 m 3, dimensions 1.7x2.25x2.1 m, weight - 250 kg. The average price is 66,600 rubles.

When several owners are united, drainage tanks can be used to provide water supplies in case of unforeseen events (fires, watering during a dry period, etc.). Such reserves can be used for technical needs - for example, the organization of washing (while providing filtration). In these cases, large, underground tanks with a volume of 40-50 m 3 are installed.

Industrial tanks

At industrial enterprises of various profiles, metal drainage tanks of the EP and EPP type are widely used. They are designed to collect hydrocarbons and other aggressive liquids. Taking into account the increased danger of storing such substances, the design has an explosion-proof design. The main difference between these products is that EPP has a liquid heater, while EP is produced without it. They are produced according to OST 26-02-2060-79.

According to the material used for the body, the containers are divided into 3 categories:

  1. Category 1 - housing made of VSt3ps4 steel and designed for temperatures up to minus 20 degrees;
  2. Category 2 - steel 16GS, operating temperature - not lower than minus 40 degrees;
  3. Category 3 - steel 09G2S, minimum temperature - minus 60 degrees.

Protection of metal is provided by internal and external special anti-corrosion coating. Heating in the EPP tank is carried out using a heating cable or a coil with a heat carrier (steam or hot water).

Capacities EP and EPP have the following main characteristics:

  • the most popular volume is 1, 3, 5, 8, 12.5 and 50 m 3;
  • liquid temperature - from 0 to plus 80 degrees;
  • pressure inside the tank - 0.7 MPa;
  • liquid requirements: kinetic viscosity - no more than 30x106 sq.m / s, density - no higher than 1000 kg / m 3; hydrogen sulfide content - no more than 1.5%;
  • warranty period - up to 10 years.

Explosion protection corresponds to category IIA-TK according to GOST 12.1.011-78. It is possible to store oil, alkali, acid, kerosene, diesel fuel, transformer oil, industrial water with various impurities, gas condensate for a long time in the tank.

Each container is equipped with an electric pump for pumping liquid. Submersible and semi-submersible devices can be used. Most often they are installed at such levels - 3, 3.2, 3.8 and 4 m. Pumps of 2 main types are used - HB50 / 50 and AHPO-E45 / 54-K. Tanks are produced in 3 climatic versions - HL1 (for cold regions), UHL1 (temperate climate) and T1 (tropical version).

Typical dimensions of underground drainage tanks are given in the table:

It is possible to single out the main consumers of EP (EPP) tanks: oil and gas processing and mining enterprises, chemical enterprises of various specializations, gas stations and gas filling stations, pharmaceutical industry enterprises, fertilizer and herbicide manufacturers, various industrial enterprises, as well as motor transport organizations.

When choosing equipment, it is important to be able to decipher the markings. For this, an example can be given - EPP 25-2000-1-2-K. This is an underground, drainage tank with liquid heating with a tank with a volume of 25 m 3, an internal diameter of 2000 mm. The designation "1" indicates the design, "2" - the material of the body (steel 16GS), "K" - installation in a concrete well.

In the Russian Federation, underground tanks are produced by several large manufacturers. The products of the Saratov Reservoir Plant, Remstroymash LLC, Spetsneftekhimmash and UralHydroMash companies can be especially distinguished.

Thoracic containers

A special category of drainage systems is medical equipment. Doctors have to deal with significant volumes of pumped fluid when draining the pleural cavity. In this case, special vessels are used, called thoracic drainage tanks.

A feature of such tanks is the installation of special water seals - valves that prevent the phenomenon of liquid reflux back into the cavity. Thoracic containers are made of plastic with a low specific gravity and high impact strength. By design, one-, two- and three-jar options are distinguished. The units are completed with a system of tubes that ensure the operation of the drainage system. Redax (Italy) and Rocket Medical (England) are especially popular among manufacturers.

In marking drainage capacity when ordering, indicate its type (EP or EPP), volume, internal diameter and material of execution.

Order designation example:

EP (EPP) 25-2000-1-1(2)(3)-K, where “EP” is an unheated underground drainage tank (“EPP” is an underground drainage tank with a heating system), “25” is the nominal volume in m³ , "2000" - internal diameter of the tank in mm; "1" - design; "1", "2" or "3" - material of manufacture ("1" - steel St 3sp4 GOST 380-90; "2" - steel 16GS GOST 5520-79; "3" - steel 09G2S GOST 5520-79); "K" - the presence of a concrete well.

Execution options for underground tanks EP / EPP:

  • Capacities underground drainage horizontal type EP (without heating);
  • Horizontal underground drainage tanks of the EPP type (with a heating system in the form of a metal coil or a heating cable);
  • Climatic version U0 and T4 (up to -20 °С); U0 (up to - 40 °С); HL1 (up to -60 °С).

Purpose of drainage tanks EP / EPP:

Underground tanks EP and EPP are used for storage of residues of oil products drained from process pipelines, both light and dark. Underground horizontal drainage tanks are widely used in Russian enterprises, since almost any production is faced with the need to drain the remains of liquid products used in the technological cycle. Underground storage tanks EP / EPP can store liquid products containing no more than 1.8% hydrogen sulfide in the gas phase.

EP tanks, as well as horizontal RGS tanks, used to collect liquids in small volumes (usually up to 63 cubic meters). For storage of large volumes of liquid raw materials are used vertical tanks (RVS). For storage of bulk products silos and hoppers are used.

Production of underground drainage tanks EP / EPP:

The production of containers must be carried out in accordance with. The manufacturing plant should use modern technologies for the preparation of rolled metal, welding, anti-corrosion treatment and loading for transportation.

General characteristics of underground drainage tanks EP / EPP:

  • are used to store products from 2 to 4 hazard classes (according to GOST 12.1.007-76);
  • designed for the temperature of the stored product: from -15°С to +80°С;
  • designed for pressure inside the tank up to 0.07 MPa;
  • Designed for the kinematic viscosity of the product drained into the EP / EPP up to 30 10 -6 m² / s;
  • The density of the product drained into the EP / EPP is up to 1000 kg / m³

"RESERVE UAROS TROYEL" recommends ordering EP capacity/ EPP with internal and external anti-corrosion coating to increase their service life. The characteristics of the anti-corrosion coating are selected based on the characteristics of the product poured into the container and the mode of operation of the container.

Tank quality assurance:

Underground drainage tanks are manufactured in accordance with; TU.1415.004-466214309-2008. The quality of our EP containers is confirmed by the Permit for Use No.РРС.00-047039 and the Certificate of Conformity No.Ross.RU.AB17.po1286.

Warranty period of operation drainage tanks EP/ EPP manufactured by ZMK “REZERV UAROS TROYEL”: 18 months from the date of putting the equipment into operation, but not more than 24 months after shipment to the Customer from the factory.

Underground drainage tanks are used for temporary storage and collection of petroleum products at enterprises of the oil and gas and coke industries, as a tank for draining fuel from technological systems, for storing gas condensate, for draining residues of various aggressive liquids (oil, oil, diesel fuel, transformer oil, gasoline, alkalis, acids, wastewater, etc.). It should be noted that they are not used for draining LPG liquefied hydrocarbon gases.

Performance characteristics of drainage tanks

There are several requirements for the stored product and conditions at the facility:

  • the temperature of the stored liquid must be in the range from -15°С to + 80°С
  • kinematic viscosity of the liquid 30x10-6 m 2 / s
  • density of the working product - no more than 1000 kg / m 3
  • hazard class of working media 2, 3, 4 (see GOST 12.1.007-76)
  • the content of H 2 S should not exceed 1.8%
  • liquid explosion category and group - IIA-T3, IIB-T3 (see GOST 12.1.011-78)
  • the minimum ambient temperature should not exceed -60°С

The underground location of the EP/EPP reduces the risk of the stored product being released into the environment.

Construction of underground drainage tanks

They are structurally a hollow all-welded vessel operating under a pressure of not more than 0.07 MPa, with a volume of 1 m 3 to 200 m 3 , consisting of a metal cylinder and conical bottoms. For technological maintenance, two hatches are installed on the upper side of the shell: one for draining the stored product, the second for gaining access inside for preventive inspection, technological maintenance and repair (cleaning, blowing, washing). The discharge of the stored product is carried out using a semi-submersible pump.

The hull material must be resistant to the negative effects of the soil to prevent corrosion, chemical and physical changes. To do this, a waterproofing coating made of bitumen-polymer mastics is applied to the outside.

Saratov Reservoir Plant manufactures two types of underground drainage tanks:

  • EP without heater
  • EPP with heater for areas where the ambient temperature is below the freezing point of the liquid

The EPP tank body is heated by a metal coil in the form of pipes inside the shell, in which (pipes) the steam-water mixture circulates, or by a heating cable.

Production of underground drainage tanks

The Saratov Reservoir Plant has the EP and EPP necessary for the production of underground drainage tanks.

In addition, during the manufacture and installation, our specialists are guided by the following regulatory documents:

  • GOST R 34347-2017 "Steel welded vessels and apparatus. General specifications"
  • PB 03-584-03 "Rules for the design, manufacture and acceptance of steel welded vessels and apparatus"
  • Industrial safety rules for hazardous production facilities using pressurized equipment
  • STO 00220227-005-2009 “High pressure welded steel vessels and apparatus. General technical requirements»

All underground drainage tanks are made from the following steel grades depending on the operating conditions:

  • St3sp for operation at temperatures up to -20°С
  • 09G2S-9 for operation at temperatures not exceeding -40°C
  • 09G2S-8 for areas where the average five-day temperature is below -40°С

Depending on the temperature of the operating area, the following designs of drainage tanks are manufactured:

  • version 1 - design ambient temperature of the coldest five-day period is below -20°С
  • execution 2 - temperature up to -40°С
  • version 3 - operating temperature up to -60°С

Depending on climatic conditions, all drainage tanks are produced in three climatic versions:

  • HL 1 for use in cold climates
  • UHL 1 for temperate climates
  • T1 - for tropical climate

For reliable operation, the design process provides for waterproofing and thermal insulation.

Technological piping of underground drainage tanks

At the construction site, all vessels are connected to the pipeline, which, on the one hand, goes to the drain filter of the pipe, and on the other hand, to the pump installed in one of the necks, or falls below the level of the so-called "dead residue", thereby creating a hydraulic seal that prevents spark formation during loading and unloading operations.

For reliable and safe use, EP/EPP tanks are provided with branch pipes and fittings for installing control and measuring and other equipment, for example, a thermometer, pressure gauge, devices for determining the amount of product (level gauges), a thermoelectric converter, devices for automatically stopping the supply or pumping out the product, alarm systems, shut-off and control valves.

The necessary equipment for loading and unloading operations are pumps and pumping units of various types and types, which facilitate technological processes. The pumps are manufactured in an explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant design with double sealing to reduce the risk of flames and exposure to the working environment.

Installation of pumps is possible at four levels: 3 m, 3.2 m, 3.7 m, 3.9 m.

At the request of the Customer, the pump can be installed in a concrete or metal well, which will protect the pump from the negative effects of the working product.

Tanks EP/EPP are delivered assembled. Only manholes and pipes longer than 1 m are transported separately. They (manholes and branch pipes) are cut off at a level of 0.4 m from the edge of the shell.

The height of the necks for routine maintenance and installation of pumps depends on the depth of the hull immersion in the ground.

All manufactured products are supplied with a passport, passed quality control and acceptance, certified by regulatory authorities.

Calculation, manufacture and supply of underground drainage tanks is carried out on the basis of the Questionnaire or the Customer's Terms of Reference.

The drainage well is an important part of drainage. Now they prefer plastic products. Such PVC containers are most often used for system revision and waste collection.

But there are other areas of application, and hence varieties that differ somewhat from each other in their design. And only the right choice of the type of container will allow you to fully appreciate all the advantages of this product.

For several years now, plastic products have been at the forefront of water supply and sanitation, including stormwater and drainage systems. This is determined by a whole range of positive qualities of plastic products.

  1. One of the main advantages is relatively light weight. Installation and transportation does not require the use of special equipment and the organization of an entrance to the installation site. The container is very easy to install by 2-3 people.
  2. Plastic is a sealed material that is not subject to corrosion. The service life of such products is about 50 years, and no maintenance is required.
  3. Resistant to aggressive media and low temperatures.
  4. High-quality PVC does not release toxic substances into the soil, therefore, drainage containers from it will not harm the ecological condition of the site.

The light weight of plastic products lies in its flaw: such capacity can easily float in waterlogged soil. But this problem can be dealt with with the help of a concrete base, which is settled at the bottom of the pit and to which the well itself is attached.

Another commonly cited disadvantage is high price. But if you remember that when installing a plastic tank, there is no need to hire special equipment, and the service life is several decades, it becomes clear that the cost will quickly pay off.

Varieties of drainage wells according to their functions

When arranging the drainage system, several types of tanks can be used, which differ from each other in their function and have design features.

  1. Manholes have a hard bottom, they are necessary for revision and cleaning of the drainage system. They are installed every 20-30 meters on a straight pipeline and on pipe bends. Therefore, they often perform the role of rotary, which is facilitated by the presence of several inlet pipes located at different angles. At least 2 pipelines enter such a container. Unused openings are hermetically sealed with special plugs.
  2. Storage tanks designed to collect water and are installed at the end of the drainage system. These are completely sealed tanks, into which drainage pumps are sometimes released to empty the tank. The water accumulated in the tank can be used for technical needs. Drainage tanks are recommended to be equipped with silt inlets, so the pipes enter the tank at a height of at least 15 cm from the bottom. The inlet pipe is equipped with a valve that prevents the reverse flow of water into the system.
  3. storage tanks connected in some cases with an absorption well, which has no bottom. This is a variant of soil filtration. A filter is installed at the bottom of the tank.
  4. In regions where at least seasonally there is excessive saturation of the soil with groundwater or atmospheric water, in some places there is an overflow of pipes and an increase in pressure in the drainage. To combat this phenomenon in particularly difficult places, install expander wells, which quench the fluid pressure in the system. The principle of operation is that water and a narrow pipeline under natural pressure enters a large reservoir. Due to this, as well as the presence of special energy-damping structures inside the tank, the flow rate and pressure in the network drops.
  5. In places where pipelines run at different depths, install drop wells. Such containers are needed where there is a large difference in the height of the relief. Branch pipes in them are located at different levels. In some cases, such containers are used as a collector, which is connected to a pipeline that evacuates the water collected from the site into a reservoir, ravine, etc.
  6. Storm wells are used in storm systems, which differ from drainage primarily in the depth of passage of the gutters. A drainage well is also used in the storm drain.

Ready-made drainage wells differ not only in their functions, but also in their design features.

Classification of underground drainage tanks by type of construction

On this basis, finished PVC tanks are divided into 2 categories.

Prefabricated wells consist of several elements that are connected to each other before installation:

  • main tray with nozzles;
  • shaft, which can be a corrugated or smooth pipe;
  • two sealing rings for connecting the body (shaft) of the well with a neck or tray;
  • necks;
  • plastic cover;
  • extension cable, the length of which may vary depending on the depth of installation.

Such tanks are more versatile, since the length of the shaft can be adjusted depending on the depth, but they are more expensive. It is important to take into account that with an increase in length, the resistance of the container body to compression decreases.

Monolithic tanks stronger and cheaper, but have a standard height, so they are designed for installation at a certain depth. True, the additional installation of the neck allows them to be deepened a little. Drop and expansion tanks are produced only in this form.

Monolithic and prefabricated products are produced both in Russia and abroad.

Firms producing plastic wells for drainage, and approximate prices

There are a lot of companies providing plastic tanks for the drainage system to the Russian market. And this number is constantly growing. However, the market is dominated by 2 firms that are most popular with consumers.

"Polyplastic"

This is one of the leaders among Russian manufacturers of plastic products. The company produces a full range of wells used in drainage systems. The range includes welded containers. Their tray options can be used for installation on bends, crossing pipelines and for system revision. Trayless products can be used as storage tanks.

The company produces drop tanks, storm water wells, as well as prefabricated tanks of various diameters. The cost of a welded well shaft is about 1,700 rubles per meter for a tank with a diameter of 40 cm, a tray of this size costs from 2,300 rubles, and a telescopic neck from 6,000 rubles.

Review: I purchased Polyplatic products for the revision of the drainage system. There are no problems in the collection, during operation, too. Satisfied. The only negative is that during the selection process I could not find the price, which is important for product monitoring.

This European company, which is a leader in the production of plastic products for sewerage, including drainage systems, produces prefabricated manholes with a diameter of 315, 425, as well as larger models Wavin Tegra 600 and 1000. All of them consist of a corrugated shaft, a telescopic neck , hatch and tray with nozzles.

The price for a shaft with a diameter of 425 mm ranges from 7,000 to 21,000 rubles, depending on the length. A tray of this type can cost at least 5,000 rubles.

Review: The well of Vavin company has been serving for more than 5 years. We are very pleased with the quality, the tank withstood temperature changes without problems. True, the prices bite.

Device and installation features

You can install a plastic drainage well on the site without specialists. For installation, you will need 1-2 assistants, mainly to release the container to the bottom. But before that preparatory work needs to be done.

With a monolithic product, everything is simpler, it is almost ready for installation. Collapsible finished products must be assembled according to the instructions. And if you decide to make a tank from a large diameter pipe, then first you need to cut it to the required length.

In finished products, there are often holes for pipes, and in home-made ones, they are pre-cut in accordance with the diameter of the drains. Rubber seals and plastic couplings are inserted into the holes. All seals are lubricated with sealant to prevent leakage.

After that, they begin to dig and prepare the pit, taking into account several parameters:

  1. Depth should be such that the pipe entry points pass below the freezing point of the soil, and the bottom of the tank is at least half a meter above the groundwater level.
  2. You also need to consider that at the bottom of the pit will be filled up crushed stone pillow 15-20 cm high.
  3. Pit width- 40-60 cm more than the diameter of the container.
  4. Luke after that it will have to rise 10-15 cm above the ground.

After the pit is dug, its bottom is leveled, and then they fall asleep and level the crushed stone pillow.

If the area is characterized by a seasonal rise in groundwater, then an additional cement base must be poured onto the bottom.

After the cement has hardened, you can install:

  1. The tank is released to the bottom.
  2. Use a level to check if the container is level.
  3. Connect the pipes for the drainage well to the nozzles. Be sure to treat all joints with sealant.
  4. The tank is backfilled with sand and gravel. Do this in layers, each layer is carefully rammed.
  5. Install a plastic cover (hatch).

This completes the installation. If necessary, a drainage pump is released into the collector.

Underground drainage tanks

Underground drainage tanks are used for temporary storage and collection of petroleum products in the oil and gas and coke chemical industries as a tank for draining fuel from process systems, for storing gas condensate, for draining residues of various aggressive liquids (oil, oil, diesel fuel, transformer oil, gasoline, alkalis, acids, sewage, etc.). It should be noted that underground drainage tanks are not used for the discharge of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPG).

We not only produce underground tanks, but also complete with all the necessary hardware.

Design of an underground drainage tank (tank)

They are structurally welded to hollow vessels at pressures up to 0.07 MPa and volumes up to 200 m3 to create two manholes for metal cylinders and service compound on conical bases on the upper side of the arm. One is for unloading the stored product, and the second is the product obtained during the technical inspection, maintenance and repair drainage (cleaning, flushing, flushing) is stored using a semi-submersible pump.

Purpose of underground drainage tanks.

Designed for receiving, storing and dosing oil products with a density of up to 1300 kg / m³, as well as for draining light and dark oil products, oil, oils, condensate (including water) from technical pipelines and apparatus at petrochemical enterprises. The density of the dried liquid is not more than 1000 kg / m³
