Puzzled by the choice of a fence on the front of the site, I, like most, climbed into the network to look for options, but it turned out that there were not so many options, many variations, and there were no new ideas. After spending a lot of time, I found an interesting technology, but did not find a suitable design. Imagination drew a vine, found a woman artist, we spent a month and a half on drawing and bringing the picture to the very one that was in my head.

Before bringing the idea to life, a sample of the future fence was made, which completely suited the top starter.

Technology

Visually, the openwork fabric resembles a forged one, but the pattern is not voluminous, but flat, and is made using artistic laser cutting technology. A powerful laser beam is concentrated on the surface of the metal, which easily cuts the canvas of various thicknesses with maximum accuracy. Laser cutting is versatile - the beam cuts through any, the most intricate patterns, even a few millimeters. In addition, the metal does not need additional processing, the edges are perfectly smooth, without nicks and scale formation. Another advantage of the technology is that due to the minimal thermal impact during the cutting process, the characteristics of even thin sheet metal do not deteriorate in any way, and its service life is preserved. The maximum thickness of rolled metal for laser cutting depends on its type:

The design of the fence is thought out to the smallest detail, and the license plate is also made sharp, but the openwork is combined with the base and filled with a special white resin.

The foundation is a shallow-depth tape, since the weight of openwork fabrics and hollow pillars allows for a lightweight foundation; during concreting, mortgages are installed under the pillars. The pedestals are screwed onto the threaded studs, and the poles themselves are fixed to the pedestals. In the future, the base is planned to be laid out with clinker bricks.

Between the pillars - two veins (mounting on self-tapping screws), the canvas is attached to the veins on hooks (welded during manufacture), additionally fixed with self-tapping screws.

Since the steel sheet is significantly weakened by a large cutout area (more than half), it is reinforced on three sides with a welded corner. The upper, patterned part of the canvas is deliberately left as sharp as possible in order to impede access by jumping over the fence for those who want to profit from freebies.

After laser treatment, the panels are powder coated black. Galvanizing would be more effective, but the announced cost significantly increased the cost of an already expensive one. Therefore, it was decided to do with the powder, and to solve problems with the coating as they arise. After wintering, “flowering” appeared, but not on sharp edges, which are considered the weakest point, but in places of mechanical damage. Elimination is entrusted to metal paint with preliminary cleaning and priming.
