Washing, dry cleaning and polishing of rims and tires
Our range of tire fitting services includes washing only one set of wheels - the one that will be balanced. Washing is carried out in a special Wulkan wheel washer. This wash is needed to remove large clods of dirt that affect balance. The second set of wheels is washed only at the request of the client. We believe that it is better to store dry tires and rims without exposing them to moisture (which causes corrosion), freeze-thaw or even water rot on wheels in the warm season, so we do not recommend washing wheels intended for storage and removed when remounting tires in plastic bags. If you insist on washing the removed wheels, then the cost of washing them will be 50-70 rubles. per wheel (warn the manager about ordering this service during your visit). This will be a machine wash, after which the wheels will not be perfectly clean, as already mentioned above.
Another thing - wheel cleaning and polishing. These services also include drying the wheels after work and, unlike washing the wheels in a "dishwasher", they serve to give the wheels their original appearance, remove brown deposits from winter road chemicals, traces of bitumen or road markings.
Dry cleaning of rims is made manually using aggressive automotive chemicals and is included in the cost of VIP tire fitting, while polishing is paid separately at the rate of 300 to 1000 rubles. per rim (depending on the size and complexity of the shape of the rims).
Wheel polishing does not allow these discs to get dirty for a long time, therefore it is recommended to polish the discs on a set of discs that is installed, and not removed from the car. Dry cleaning of discs is recommended both for removed (so that it is less eaten), and for "launched" from last winter, brown, yellow or white rims from dirt.
