Top 10 kitchen manufacturers

1. IKEA (Sweden)

The kitchens of this Swedish manufacturer are popular all over the world and there are at least 7 reasons for this:

• Simple yet stylish front design in the traditional, and in modern style .

IKEA kitchen complete with marble countertops and decorative handles

• Ikea equips kitchen furniture with high-quality Blum fittings;
• Ikea uses only eco-friendly types of chipboard and MDF;
• The warranty period for kitchens from Ikea is 25 years;
• The ability to independently and free of charge design a kitchen in an online planner on the store’s website, and then correct it together with a specialist;
• Possibility of local replacement of facades in case of damage, or simply if you want to update the design, say, in a few years.

Consider the cons:

• Despite the long warranty period, the actual service life of Ikea kitchens is often not long and is only 7-10 years. Some users in their reviews report that chipboard swells after 3 years;
• The choice of facades, firstly, is limited in colors and design, and secondly, it is minimalistic, which is not to everyone's liking. In addition, the interior of the kitchen with a set from Ikea can hardly claim to be unique;

• The dimensions of the Ikea headset modules are standard, so it is not always possible to ideally fit the headset to the room and squeeze the maximum out of it.

2. Maria (Russia, Saratov)

The rating of kitchen manufacturers is unthinkable without the most recognizable brand in the country, Maria, which has been specializing in kitchen production for 19 years. The company positions its furniture as furniture with German quality and Italian design.

• 10 year warranty;
• Unlike Ikea, the Maria company relies on an individual approach in designing a headset, which is especially necessary for small kitchens ;
• The buyer can monitor the status of his order on the site;
• The manufacturer buys materials and components in Italy, Germany and Russia. The company fundamentally does not cooperate with China;
• The choice of headset models is quite large. Moreover, both classic and modern kitchens "Maria" are equally good and are often used in TV projects "Housing issue", "School of repair", etc. By the way, the furniture design was developed jointly with Italian designers;

• The presence of a large number of points of sale in Russia, where prices vary slightly.
• Prices for kitchens in "Maria" are medium and medium-high.

3. Stylish Kitchens (Russia)

This factory is unique in that it produces all (!) furniture components on its own on equipment that was developed by leading European machine tool companies. Thus, every single detail is not stored in warehouses, but is made specifically for the customer.

• All salons of the factory are branded, which eliminates dealer margins, reduces the likelihood of errors and delays, and also simplifies the resolution of any contentious issues;
• The factory provides free services not only for measuring and designing, but also for delivery and assembly, which is a very significant bonus;
• Prices for "Stylish Kitchens" are lower than for furniture from the "Maria" factory.
• Salons "Stylish kitchens" are only in Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.

4. Leroy Merlin (Poland)

The main advantages of kitchens from Leroy Merlin are availability and the ability to get sets as quickly as possible - literally in 2-3 days, and not the standard 2-3 months.

• The prices for Leroy Merlin kitchens are perhaps the lowest in our rating;
• The facades of the suites are of quite good quality, there are even inexpensive facades with oak veneer in the assortment;
• Kitchens under the trade mark "Delinia" are guaranteed for 25 years;
• The order can be picked up almost on the day of payment;
• Kitchen set can be assembled independently or use the inexpensive store assembler service;
• On the store's website, you can independently draw a kitchen project and prepare for a meeting with the designer Leroy Merlin.
• Low quality frames made of laminated chipboard. Several users in the reviews complained about the unpleasant odor;
• Leroy Merlin kitchens do not provide for embedding appliances. However, it is possible, the main thing is to find an experienced installer;
• The choice of kitchen designs is not too large.

5. ZOV (Belarus)

ZOV is a brand of kitchen furniture from Belarus, popular in Russia and the CIS and recognizable in our country thanks to cooperation with the program “Housing Problem” and “School of Repair”. The company has been on the market for over 20 years.

• The factory has a large number of points of sale in Russia and the CIS;
• The workshops of the factory are equipped with machine tools of Italian and German manufacturers;
• The range includes both economy and premium kitchens;
• The warranty period is 5 years;
• Factory "ZOV" marks its components to protect against counterfeiting.
• Since the ZOV production is located in Belarus, delivery takes a little longer than with Russian factories. If the order suddenly shows up a defect or shortage, then it is unlikely that it will be possible to solve the problem promptly;
• Furniture assembly is quite expensive and, depending on the dealer, the price of the service can be from 7 to 15% of the order value;
• Prices at dealers and representative offices for the same equipment can vary significantly.

6. Plaza Real (Russia, St. Petersburg)

Furniture manufacturer from St. Petersburg, existing on the market for 18 years. Despite its St. Petersburg origin, most salons are located in Moscow.

Kitchen Emilia from Plaza real

• Warranty: 24.7 years, but only for residents of St. Petersburg;
• Free delivery and assembly for residents of St. Petersburg;
• The factory produces furniture using Italian equipment, the staff is also trained by Italians (equipment suppliers);
• The company purchases all components and fittings from European manufacturers.
• Favorable conditions (25-year warranty, free delivery and assembly) are available only to St. Petersburg residents;
• Not too many designs to choose from;
• Salons are presented only in St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow region.

And here is a video review of the kitchen from Plaza Real.

7. Aran Cucine (Italy)

Italian cuisines are valued all over the world for their quality and design. In Russia, kitchens from Italy are most often positioned as premium-class furniture (sometimes unjustified, since the high price is often formed only due to shipping costs and dealer margins), but the Aran brand is an exception. The average cost of one set is from 2700 Euros, which is comparable to the prices of the domestic "Maria" or "Stylish Kitchens". The Aran Cucine brand was founded in 1960.

• The Aran factory, unlike other European companies, delivers its kitchens unassembled, which greatly reduces the cost of delivery from Italy. Against the backdrop of the growth of the euro, this factor becomes especially relevant for Russians;
• European quality;
• Beautiful design of kitchens, not only classic, but also modern;
• The delivery of the headset frame in disassembled form is, on the one hand, a plus (the client saves on delivery), and on the other hand, a minus: glued prefabricated frames are better and more durable;
• When buying a kitchen from Italy, you will have to put up with an extended delivery time, an overpayment due to the growth of the euro, as well as dealer markups and duties.

8. Häcker Kuchen (Germany)

German manufacturers are famous for using the most advanced technologies in the production of kitchen sets. Hacker is the second largest kitchen brand in Germany. The secret of Haecker's success: the factory adapts the technological and design solutions of elite German manufacturers to the mass market. The slogan of this brand is "Kitchens for everyone".

• The prices for Hacker kitchens are comparable to the prices of domestic factories of the middle and medium-high segment.
• Expensive and long delivery;
• Dealer rates.

9. Kitchen yard (Russia, Moscow)

Kitchen Yard has been on the market since 1996. Kitchens from the Kitchen Yard factory are often used by designers in the School of Repair and Housing Problem programs.

• Large selection of colors and styles of facades;
• Furniture design was developed jointly with designers from Italy;
• Free assembly when ordering a kitchen set and appliances from 150 tr.;
• Moderate prices - from 23 thousand rubles per linear meter.
• The free warranty covers 2 years - this period is less than that of other Russian factories. 5 year warranty.

10. Announcement (Russia)

The factory was founded in 1999. Kitchens "Announcement" can often be seen in the program "Repair School".

Another photo example of the Announcement kitchen in the interior.

• Salons "Announcement" are presented in 30 cities of Russia;
• Free delivery in Moscow within the A-107 highway and when ordering from 70 tr.;
• Large selection of designs.
• Short warranty period - 2 years;
• Not very high quality and informative site.
• Which kitchens are better - Russian or European production? Furniture of domestic manufacturers is good because it is adapted to small spaces and focused on the implementation of individual projects. In addition, it is more affordable (especially against the background of the growth of the dollar and the euro) and at the same time comparable in quality to the furniture of European factories. Moreover, most of the major manufacturers work on Italian / German equipment, use their own technologies, materials and fittings, imitate the "Europeans" in design.
• When choosing a kitchen, ask about the manufacturer of accessories and the warranty period for it. Good hinges are designed for at least 80-100 thousand opening-closing cycles.
• Do you feel that the designer-designer is not competent and attentive enough? In this case, it is worth changing either the designer or the manufacturer, since the kitchen design stage is almost the most important and the likelihood of errors should be minimized.
• Buying a kitchen is, if possible, in a branded, not a dealer / franchise salon, or at least from an official sales representative.
• When choosing a kitchen manufacturer, do not hesitate to ask if the assemblers are full-time employees of the company who have undergone uniform training and certification.
• To minimize the likelihood of errors in the design project, it is advisable to be well versed: learn the principles of kitchen planning and figure out layout options on your own, for example, in our free online constructor .

What to look for when choosing a headset

Combinations of modules, materials and colors give the kitchen any look, open up wide possibilities for design and space organization. The right choice of furniture takes into account many points - from key parameters to trifles and personal preferences. That is why typical models give way to original custom-made kitchens that allow you to experiment, reflect tastes, needs, habits and use every centimeter.

When developing a project, every detail matters:

• The number of family members and the tradition of gathering together at the same table.
• Love for cooking, requiring space for creativity, or the lack of a cult of homemade food.
• The rhythm of life, leaving no time to prepare complex dishes.
• The desire to complete the kitchen with various appliances - washing machine and dishwasher, hob and oven or freestanding stove, extractor hood, microwave and small appliances.
• The need for additional LED backlighting of an apron, countertops or cabinets.
• Planning features of the premises - the configuration and the presence of columns, ventilation ducts, niches.
• Preference for the height of work surfaces, upper cabinets and the placement of the sink, refrigerator and built-in.
• The level of natural light and the area of the kitchen.
• The style of execution and the color scheme of the facades, allowing them to act as an accent or dissolve in space.
• The presence or absence of the ability and desire to engage in regular care - thorough cleaning and polishing.
• The habit of making "strategic" stocks of food and homemade preparations.

Everyone wants good food. The advice of professionals will help you meet the main condition - to achieve maximum convenience and combine aesthetics with functionality without contradicting tastes and habits.

What determines the cost of the kitchen

A good new kitchen is never cheap. You need to approach the design and order with a cool head in order to clearly understand what the final cost of the headset is, and meet your budget.

The final price depends on the chosen facade materials, countertops and backsplash, the size of the kitchen, fittings and storage systems, built-in appliances, sinks and faucets. The complexity of execution also matters. Carving, stained-glass windows, glazing raise the price, as well as radial facades - the creation of any streamlined forms is technologically difficult and expensive.

A work surface where practical aspects come first. The bestsellers are cost-effective postforming chipboard and artificial stone countertops with excellent performance characteristics. The second option is indispensable if you want to install a sink under the surface. Connoisseurs of the classics can choose natural stone, which increases the load on the modules, or solid wood, which requires special care. More rare concrete, stainless steel, glass are preferred by those who relegate practicality to the background.

Handles, lifting and pull-out mechanisms, runners, internal drawer dividers, hinges, hidden push-to-open systems for touch-opening complete the overall picture and provide ease of use. Follow the advice of experts and approach the selection of accessories with particular scrupulousness - it is easier to work with the products of leading brands during assembly, they are durable and do not cause any complaints during operation.

A bright element in your kitchen that can transform the entire interior. Traditional ceramic tiles, glass mosaics, natural and artificial stone, plastic and tempered glass are used for reliable protection against dirt and effective design of the wall section between the countertop and hanging modules. A properly selected apron will make an ordinary set look advantageous, an unsuccessful decision will spoil even stylish facades.

A modern assistant that simplifies life and improves life. Smart appliances - a refrigerator, a combination of hob and oven or a traditional stove, extractor hood, dishwasher - give a professional look. A variety of built-in and freestanding models allows you to maintain style and maintain a harmonious image of the kitchen set.

An indispensable part even in the presence of a dishwasher. Mortise or overhead sinks differ in shape, size, number of bowls, the presence of a wing for drying dishes and are made of artificial stone, enameled and stainless steel. The fundamental selection factors are the material of the countertop, personal needs, the dimensions of the kitchen and the budget.

Deciding on a color

The choice of color cannot be dictated only by personal preferences and trends. To create the right atmosphere and stylish interior, you should listen to the advice of designers who are unanimous in their opinion - when choosing a range, everything must be taken into account: natural and artificial lighting, the area of the room and its decoration. Fashion is fickle, but there are colors that do not lose ground for years.

• White. Visually expands the space and does not cause a quick feeling of fatigue, which is typical for bright colors. Suitable for small spaces, but emphasizes architectural flaws and needs to be “diluted” with contrasting details to add cheerfulness and style.
• Black. A color for those who follow the current trends in design and want the kitchen to become an example of style. Used in large spaces with maximum natural light and good lighting. It goes well with straight lines and concise finishes. Contraindicated for those who do not have time for cleaning.
• Yellow. Allows you to get a lot of non-trivial solutions, suitable for classic and modern styles, rooms of any footage, but is used only in combination with other colors. The best options are with black, gray, white, green and blue.
• Red. An expressive solution suitable for spacious kitchens where the “pressure” effect is excluded. Needs well-placed accents, used in high-tech, classic, loft or oriental style headsets. Looks spectacular in combination with radius facades.
• Blue. An elegant color, the choice of which requires accuracy. Not suitable for rooms with poor natural light with windows to the north and monochrome interiors. Used in tandem with warm and cold shades, it can provide both dynamism and an atmosphere of peace.
• Brown. Brown scale deserves special attention. It is impossible to remove natural wood and chocolate-colored headsets from the pedestal. They are a godsend for those who appreciate practicality and solidity, versatility and comfort. Brown color is "friends" with any facades, stained-glass windows, gilding and glass, goes well with textiles and warm companion shades.

Deciding on style

How to choose a kitchen that meets current trends and personal ideas of beauty? Get inspired by ideas from interior magazines and ask for help from a professional designer who knows how to apply bright trends in practice and think over the look of space.

Deciding on a layout plan

Convenience and ergonomics depend not only on the number of free meters, but also on how competently you dispose of them. Useful tips on choosing the configuration of the headset will allow you to plan the space and make even a small kitchen comfortable.

Designers offer five main options:

Deciding on the material

There are two categories of things - those on which you can save, and those on which it is better not to try. Facades are an indicator of solidity and prestige. When the whole home life revolves around the kitchen, profiting from their materials is a mistake. How to choose a kitchen set correctly? Find a balance between quality and price.

• Array. Natural wood is respectable, designed to last for decades and is great for classic style kitchens. Solid wood headsets require a solid investment and careful handling - they do not like changes in humidity and temperature, direct sunlight.
• MDF. The most durable material that allows you to qualitatively imitate valuable wood species and produce facades of non-standard shapes. MDF offers a huge choice of finishes, resistant to deformation and moisture.
• Chipboard. The most economical and less sophisticated option. Covered with film, laminate, matte or glossy plastic facades are aesthetic, but simple. If you are concerned about maintaining the original appearance, it is advisable to protect them from constant contact with water, especially at the edges.

Ready-made or custom-made kitchens?

Manufacturers offer options for every budget and taste. Ready-made headsets are cheaper and eliminate the need for waiting - they can be picked up immediately after arriving at the salon. Minus - the need to agree with the "imposed" configuration and standard sizes. The choice of modules is limited, the discrepancy between the dimensions can lead to the fact that non-working areas and corners will remain in the room.

Designed and custom-made kitchens take into account the nuances of the layout and fit exactly in size. Their configuration, equipment and color do not depend on the manufacturer's imagination, but the cost is much higher, and it will take several months to wait for production.

Conclusion

Before ordering a kitchen, it is worth sorting out “on the shore” what equipment of the headset - modules, mechanisms, facades - you need and why, collect the best design ideas and decide on your desires. This eliminates the risk of impulsive buying.

In order for space and furniture to meet the laws of ergonomics and style, contact the designer. He will find a compromise on all issues and design a kitchen in accordance with all the details.

How to save money when choosing a kitchen

Starting to choose furniture for the kitchen, most people are faced with a number of different questions. And this is natural, because certain requirements are imposed on kitchen sets. The times of standard kitchens are long gone, now you can choose the perfect furniture for yourself and your family, it is only important to decide on colors and style. And, of course, pay attention to functionality, because the filling of kitchen cabinets and drawers is also very diverse - from carousel shelves to special racks and dividers for more convenient storage of various accessories. In this article, we will talk about how to choose the right kitchen.

How a well-designed project will help you choose the right kitchen

For a successful kitchen project, you need a combination of two important qualities - beauty and practicality. At the same time, do not forget that the concept of beauty is different for everyone, and yours does not have to coincide with the opinion of designers.

First of all, you should like the kitchen, but convenience and functionality play a very important role. Without them, beauty will not be essential. Take a plan of the room, and we will tell you the main secrets of how to choose the right kitchen.

1. Do not rush to place communications (drainage, ventilation outlets, sockets) before installing a kitchen set. First of all, decide what household appliances you need, where it will be located, carefully take measurements of your kitchen, select several options for placing furniture and appliances.

2. If you are the owner of a small kitchen, then consider the design of the room in such a way as to fully utilize the height of the room, since:

This option will increase the useful volume of kitchen cabinets for storage.

With the help of vertical lines, you can visually increase the height of the ceiling.

Tall cabinets perfectly hide various communications, for example, air ducts from an exhaust hood, gas column, etc.

3. Do you know about the work triangle theory? Of course, today it is a little outdated, since in most kitchens, in addition to the refrigerator, sink and stove, there are other household appliances. However, its meaning has remained the same - the smaller the trajectory of your movement in the kitchen, the better.

When planning your kitchen, think about what appliances you have and use all the time. For example, a coffee machine, microwave, slow cooker and food processor. Draw a kitchen plan and arrange these items on it in such a way that they are most convenient to use.

The main point that you should pay attention to is that these objects are not located on the same straight line, this is the most inconvenient option. The optimal perimeter of the working triangle will be 4–8 meters (depending on the size of the kitchen).

After you decide on the number, size and location of household appliances, you can begin to choose the materials from which your kitchen will be made.

What else you need to consider in order to choose the right kitchen

Any hostess dreams of a cozy and comfortable kitchen. The choice of kitchen furniture today is so great that it can satisfy any need. And yet, before choosing the right kitchen, it is worth answering the following questions:

What is the composition of your family? How many people should the furniture be designed for? Is it possible to cook two housewives at the same time?

Will you and your family eat in the kitchen? How many people and how many times a day will gather at the kitchen table?

How often do you cook? Perhaps your breakfast consists of a cup of coffee, your lunch at work or in a cafe, and for dinner you make do with a salad. Based on this, decide how correct it will be for you to purchase a kitchen table or you can get by with a dining table, and perhaps a folding table is enough for you.

Do you do anything in the kitchen besides cooking? Perhaps it is here that you relax, gather with the whole family and receive guests, and also work in the evenings.

Decide on the color scheme of kitchen furniture. In order to choose the right color for the kitchen, consider not only your personal preferences, but also the lighting, the color of the walls, ceiling and floor.

How do you intend to use the available kitchen space? Are you satisfied with the size of the room? If the kitchen is small, will you enlarge it? Do you have the desire and ability to combine the kitchen with the living room or will you have to be content with what you have?

How large a work surface do you need? What should be the height of the table? What household appliances will be placed in the kitchen (including information about its dimensions)?

Do you need additional lighting?

How many products do you plan to store in your kitchen cabinets? Do you make preparations for the winter and will you store them in the kitchen?

How should the workplace be organized? From the various options for the location of the "working triangle" - sinks, stoves, refrigerators - choose the one that suits you best.

Do you have pets, do you feed them in the kitchen?

Does your kitchen have ledges, niches, or odd corners? How do you want to use them?

Where are communications located (ventilation ducts, electrical outlets, plumbing, sewage)? Will you leave the sink and stove where they are, or move them to another location? How many sockets will be required based on the number of household appliances?

After you decide on the answers to the listed questions, you will be able to choose the right kitchen, which means that it is time to go to the kitchen furniture salon or call a specialist at home.

How to choose the right kitchen to order: 5 steps to create the perfect space

When planning a major overhaul in the kitchen, you will most likely be looking for a solution that will meet your aesthetic, functional and material needs. And, of course, in addition to comfort and ergonomics, the kitchen set should be combined in style and color with floors, walls and a kitchen apron. It is unlikely that a classic black and white kitchen will look harmonious with bright flowers on the wallpaper and green floors. Therefore, it is very important to think over the style and color schemes of your future kitchen in advance. Here are five important aspects that you should pay attention to in order to choose the right kitchen.

• Step one: choose a design, color, material.

Above, we noted that kitchen furniture and room design should match each other. But, besides this, since we are talking about the kitchen, it is necessary to pay attention to such characteristics of the headset as strength, heat resistance and moisture resistance, because humidity and temperature are often high here.

The choice of materials from which kitchen furniture is made is very large. It all depends on your preferences and financial capabilities. What do you like more - laminated chipboard, MDF, solid wood, laminated chipboard with plastic coating, artificial stone. If you contact the salon by, then you will be offered a catalog from which you can choose. If you have the desire and financial capabilities, you can be offered an individual kitchen project, developed taking into account all your wishes.

• Step two: determine the dimensions.

In order to choose the right kitchen, it is important to take into account the location of communications, niches, ledges, the presence of non-standard angles, etc. You can come up with various options for arranging furniture, and then decide which one suits you best.

• Step three: selection of elements.

In order to choose the right kitchen, pay attention to ergonomics and comfort. If you plan to purchase built-in household appliances, then it is important to focus on its parameters. Do not forget about the amount of dishes that will be placed in kitchen cabinets. If you are not going to cook for a long time, choose a furniture arrangement that will minimize the time for cooking and table setting.

• Step four: kitchen appliances.

Built-in appliances are an excellent space-saving option. Now almost everything can be built into kitchen sets, from a refrigerator to a microwave oven. Kitchen appliances should be chosen in advance so that when planning the installation of furniture, take into account the location of household appliances and sockets for them.

• Step Five: Organize the space.

Choosing the right kitchen is impossible without planning a place for free movement. It is optimal if the set itself takes up about 20% of the entire area of the kitchen. If the room is small, pay special attention to the furniture for the dining area, perhaps it will be a folding table and chairs or a bar counter.

How to choose the right furniture for the kitchen, taking into account the layout of the room

L-shaped kitchen

With the help of an L-shaped layout, you can divide the kitchen space in the most functional way, while maintaining the ability to move freely around the room and place two cooks in the working triangle at the same time.

This option can be attributed to the classic, it is great for rooms, the shape of which is closest to the square. For better use of hard-to-reach areas in corner cabinets, use retractable multi-level systems.

U-shaped kitchen

U-shaped layout is suitable for large square or rectangular rooms and is able to accommodate a significant amount of storage systems and household appliances.

For the right choice of such a kitchen, pay attention to the fact that the parallel lines of the headset are from one and a half to two meters, and the connecting zone does not exceed 2.5 meters.

linear kitchen

Ideal layout for long narrow rooms, the width of which does not exceed two meters, and the total area is from 6 to 12 square meters. Rational use will be facilitated by the placement of built-in appliances under the worktop, a headset, pull-out systems for storing dishes, and upper cabinets for products.

If you are a pet owner, when choosing a kitchen, consider a special feeder that extends from the lower section of the headset.

The best option for the location of objects with such a layout would be a stove, a work table, a kitchen sink, another work table and a refrigerator. If the kitchen area is small, but you plan to eat here, then it would be right to choose folding dining tables that are mounted to the opposite wall, while freeing up usable space.

Island and peninsular cuisines

If you are the lucky owner of a kitchen of 20 or more square meters, then you can consider this type of layout. Having decided to stay on the island version, keep in mind that the desktop, sink or stove is placed in the center of the kitchen. With the peninsular version, the bar counter will be the middle of the composition. This is a general recommendation, but you have the right to independently determine which functionality - islands or peninsulas - will be more convenient for you.

The optimal size of a free-standing work area is a square with a side of 120 cm. In the standard version, the length of the peninsula is from 120 to 180 cm. In most cases, it consists of two or three kitchen modules 60 cm wide.

double row kitchen

The most effective way to use the space of wide but long kitchens will be exactly the two-row layout. However, please note that the width of such a room should not be less than 2.5 meters. The passage left after you install the kitchen set must be at least 1.2 meters.

With this layout, you can choose different options for the location of the stove, sink, refrigerator and work area. Would it be convenient for you to have the stove and sink on one side of the kitchen and the refrigerator on the other? Or, you might want to place a refrigerator and sink on one wall, and a stove and cutting table on the other.

The main disadvantage of this kind of layout will be the lack of a dining area.

How to choose the right material for the kitchen

Case and facade of the kitchen

The most popular and budget materials from which kitchens are made today are MDF (fine fraction) and chipboard (chipboard). In both cases, you will receive a high-quality kitchen set that will meet environmental standards.

To prevent dust and moisture from getting under kitchen furniture, it would be right to choose kitchen models with a special seal. You can order it at the same time as the headset or buy it later.

MDF is the best option for making kitchen fronts and cabinets, as it can be covered with a variety of materials, such as plastic, veneer, enamel, acrylic or PVC film. MDF is quite cheap, while the structure is as similar as possible to natural wood. In addition, a variety of impregnations give MDF properties that are important for an aggressive kitchen environment (these include good resistance to fungi and mold, moisture resistance, excellent tolerance to high temperatures).

If you do not equip your kitchen with built-in appliances, then do not forget to leave 2.5 cm gaps between the stove and adjacent modules of the kitchen set. This way you improve ventilation and protect furniture. To prevent fat and food particles from getting into the gap, it is better to close it with the help of special overlays.

If you decide to choose glossy fronts for your kitchen, keep in mind that they will leave traces of drops and fingerprints, so you will have to wash them constantly. Matte surfaces are easier to maintain.

If the kitchen you have chosen has non-standard or expensive facades, then, when accepting an order, be sure to check their dimensions, quantity, curvature, and the absence of any defects. Otherwise, dealing with the company after the discovery of shortcomings will be very difficult.

table top

The thickness of the worktop for the work area should be from 6 to 10 cm, for a dining table 4 cm will be enough.

Do not forget that the countertops are designed for a maximum load of 23 kg.

The most practical material for the manufacture of countertops is artificial stone. It is much cheaper and lighter than its natural counterparts, and at the same time no less durable. With the help of artificial stone, you can imitate any breed and create a smooth countertop of various shapes without visible seams and joints.

kitchen apron

In order to protect the wall in the working area from moisture, splashes of grease, burning and other types of pollution, a kitchen apron should be installed on it. Its average height is 48–60 cm (depending on the height of the upper cabinets). In terms of price, quality and durability, the ideal material to choose the right one for making an apron for the kitchen is ceramics, you can use it for more than a decade.

With a limited budget for a kitchen renovation, you can combine an inexpensive pastel-colored kitchen set with the most spectacular premium kitchen apron. In this case, the highlight of your interior is guaranteed.

So, you have decided on the dimensions, materials, chosen a photo of the kitchen of your dreams. What else is important in order to choose the right kitchen?

Proportions are of great importance for a beautiful kitchen and quality design. Drawers and furniture that are most acceptable for comfort should be a multiple of 15 cm (30, 45, 60, 75 cm).

To choose the right kitchen, be sure to calculate the distance from the kitchen set to the rest of the furniture, taking into account the opening of the cabinet doors.

When deciding on the color scheme of the kitchen set, you can be guided by the rule “dark bottom - light top”, but you can do the opposite or even choose saturated and bright colors.

If there is a choice between hinged doors of cabinets and kitchen drawers, it is better to give preference to the latter, since their internal content will be immediately visible, while you will have to climb almost halfway into the cabinets. It is quite inconvenient to place a small cutlery drawer inside a larger drawer. In this case, you will perform a simple action twice each time that you could do once.

Choosing the right kitchen is impossible without paying special attention to the variety of mechanisms by which cabinets and drawers open. For example, the use of auto-closers may be unusual for you, but at the same time convenient, unlike push-ups, which require effort to open and close. When choosing untested trending devices, think about their functionality. Perhaps the lack of handles on cabinets or drawers will create some discomfort for you. Does it make sense to follow fashion trends or is it worth trusting classic technological solutions.

If you decide to opt for a built-in refrigerator, do not forget that decorative trims and rack mounts take up a certain amount of space, and, compared to a conventional refrigerator, a built-in refrigerator will not be as spacious, although it will take up a similar space. This also applies to other built-in appliances.

How to choose the right kitchen color

Is it possible to choose the right kitchen if you have not decided on its location? Unlikely. The choice of kitchen always begins with the selection of the shape of the headset. In order to correctly build a composition, follow the following important guidelines:

If you are the owner of a large kitchen, then place the work area in the center of the room. This option not only looks impressive, but also allows you to cook with the greatest comfort.

If the kitchen space is very modest in size, there is no place to place a full-fledged dining area in it, pay attention to sets with a peninsula, in which the bar counter is pronounced. In this case, you will need much less space, and such a kitchen will look very stylish.

One of the most popular options is to place all the furniture in one row. It would be right to choose a kitchen of this kind for narrow long rooms, which will create the effect of space.

The second good option would be a G-shaped set. It is suitable for both spacious kitchens and small rooms. It is important in this case to choose the right kitchen. Preferring modular furniture, you can easily arrange it in the way you need.

The U-shaped kitchen is suitable for country houses with large areas. Furniture in this case is located along three walls.

An error in size of just a few millimeters can greatly spoil the mood and impression of the kitchen set. Yes, and the installation of such a kitchen will be very complicated. In order to choose the right kitchen and avoid such troubles, it is better to trust specialists in this matter, who are able not only to accurately calculate everything, but also to draw up a detailed diagram, taking into account all the nuances of the room.

If you decide to take measurements yourself, then be sure to consider the following points:

The presence of non-standard angles.

Protrusions (including plinths).

The location of the ventilation shaft.

Wiring diagram (all sockets and switches).

Window location.

Outlets for draining into the sewer.

The location of the refrigerator and other household appliances.

How to choose the right small kitchen

Furniture transformer

Such furniture is an excellent solution for owners of small kitchens, and its range is rapidly increasing both among foreign and domestic manufacturers.

The key advantages of this class are practicality and minimalism.

This primarily applies to the working and dining areas. For example, if you fold the dining table and chairs during cooking, you can thereby increase the space for movement.

At the end of cooking lunch or dinner, you can easily and quickly return the dining area and start the long-awaited meal.

smart kitchen

In order to save space in a kitchen set, the dimensions of which do not exceed 5–6 square meters, use smart drawers and shelves, examples of which are shown in the photographs below.

The main feature here is the correct selection of the width and height of shelves and drawers, which is done at the stage of ordering furniture for the kitchen.

Give these calculations as much time and attention as possible and then your small kitchen will fit everything you need.

niches

Provide niches in the table, cabinets, cabinets. If it is possible to use the area under the worktops of the furniture, be sure to do so.

For example, in most cases, the space under the dining table is empty. It can be used by placing a small shelf or box in which any small thing, appliances or dinner textiles will be stored.

Do not forget about the usable area on the windowsills and walls. However, you should not block the only kitchen window with large houseplants (ficuses, palm trees, etc.).

Correct dimensions

The area of the kitchen should be commensurate with the dimensions of the furniture elements. With a small area of the room, everything must be measured down to the millimeter.

In this case, you should not choose bulky chairs, armchairs or dining tables, even if they are your heirloom.

Better pay attention to modest-sized models made of wood or plastic. If the kitchen is very small, give preference to stools, folding chairs, sliding or pull-out tables for two.

Of great importance in order to choose the right kitchen is the depth of the cabinets. It should not be more than 50 centimeters. Otherwise, you will not have room to move around the kitchen.

materials

Opt for lightweight materials and transparent elements.

Do not buy furniture with wrought iron or heavy wood for a small kitchen. The smaller the square meters in your kitchen, the more easily the furniture should move.

The most popular at present are a variety of models of kitchen furniture made of high-quality plastic. Their advantages include a wide range of colors, as well as various shapes and contours.

You can choose transparent chairs for your kitchen, which will be a very beautiful and practical move.

Firstly, these chairs look modern and, in most cases, have a trendy design.

Secondly, their transparency does not overload the space, which is very important for a small kitchen. This also applies to other more or less large elements of the interior.

You can beat such chairs in terms of design with the help of fittings for a kitchen set, for example, transparent handles.

Say no to emptiness

You need to choose the right kitchen in such a way that the set takes up space up to the ceiling.

Owners of small kitchens should not leave the walls empty, especially for the wall that will house the kitchen.

When developing a project, try to keep it as high as possible. To do this, you can use the top row of furniture or mezzanine.

The upper shelves are suitable for storing kitchen utensils or small household appliances that are not used so often. It will look much more aesthetic than storing items just on top of the cabinets.

Do not forget that in order to choose the right kitchen, having small square meters, you need a careful approach to various little things and details.

Choosing the color of the headset and furniture

When choosing the color of your future furniture, you should proceed from the general palette of the kitchen. But it is better not to use too dark scale. First of all, this applies to the facades of the headset.

Using these simple tips, you can choose the right kitchen, even in a small area by placing all the necessary furniture for comfortable use, cooking and spending time with your family.

What can you save when choosing a kitchen

Kitchens in modern style with smooth, laconic facades are much cheaper than classic sets with complex finishes, grilles and stained glass inserts.

Buying a pre-made, non-custom made kitchen will save you about 25-30% on the cost.

Carefully calculate the width of the cabinets you need. For example, a kitchen module with a width of 80 cm will be 5–10% cheaper than two cabinets of 40 cm each. You can choose the right kitchen using free programs that help you create a kitchen design and calculate the cost of furniture.

Kitchen cabinets with one hinged door are cheaper than counterparts with two doors.

Modules with a standard height of 60 cm are 10–20% cheaper than cabinets with a height of 72 or 92 cm.

Try to abandon some of the wall cabinets, replacing them with shelves and comfortable and roomy tables.

Track the stocks of major kitchen furniture manufacturers. On the websites of companies you can find kitchen sets sold at a special price. Sometimes discounts reach up to 60-70%.

Give preference to high-quality, reliable and convenient fittings on those lockers that are used most often. Limit yourself to expensive rails on the heaviest and deepest drawers for pots, pans and groceries. The remaining boxes can be equipped with cheaper options.

There is no need to buy expensive handles for kitchen furniture. Please note that they are galvanized.

You should not buy a kitchen with all built-in appliances at once. If you buy devices separately, you can save about 30% of the cost.

Have you decided on the details of the future kitchen set? Do not rush to order it in the first salon. Contact several companies, let them calculate the cost and draw up a detailed specification of the kitchen. Read reviews of manufacturers of kitchen sets. Read the contract in a calm home environment, finding out all the necessary nuances.

In order for the kitchen to be cozy and functional, it is necessary not only to think over the interior design and select the necessary accessories, but also to choose the right kitchen set.

Choosing furniture for the kitchen is not such an easy task as it seems at first glance.

Even before buying a kitchen set, you will have to perform several actions:

• take measurements of the kitchen;
• choose a layout;
• draw up a project;
• select a headset model.

Before you start choosing a kitchen set, you need to find out the exact dimensions of the kitchen room.

To do this, use a tape measure to measure:

• door and window openings;
• the length of the walls and the distance between them;
• the distance between the floor and the window sill;
• ceiling height;
• dimensions of other kitchen elements that protrude: pipes, sockets, switches, heating systems, etc.

It is advisable to put all the data on paper and draw up a detailed kitchen plan.

Choice of layout

Before deciding which kitchen set to choose, answer a few questions:

• what kitchen furniture do you need;
• how it will be located: at an angle, along the walls or with the letter P;
• what household appliances should be built into the headset;
• purchase budget.

Almost all kitchen sets are designed according to the principle of modules. This allows you to use every corner of the kitchen space.

When arranging the headset, the following schemes are used:

• single row linear;
• angular L-shaped;
• double row or parallel;
• U-shaped;
• island;
• peninsular.

The choice of scheme depends on the area and shape of the room. For example, for a narrow kitchen, an arrangement in one row or a corner is suitable, other options for arranging the headset will further narrow the room.

Experts advise when equipping the kitchen to observe the following sequence:

1. fridge;
2. a place for pre-treatment of products;
3. sink and trash can;
4. a place for the final cutting of products;
5. stove for cooking;
6. place for serving.

In short, the ideal kitchen should be arranged as follows: refrigerator-sink-countertop-stove-countertop. Unfortunately, not all kitchens are suitable in size, but with good planning it is possible to find acceptable solutions.

Drafting a project

To complete this item, you need a sheet of paper in a box. On it, you need to make a scale drawing of the kitchen, indicate all measurements, the location of switches and sockets, as well as the intended location of the refrigerator, stove, sink, kitchen furniture, etc.

If the kitchen is small, try to use every corner of it to good use. At the same time, you need to leave enough space for passages, opening the doors of household appliances and cabinets.

Video: the secrets of the interior of the right kitchen

Choosing a kitchen set

If you have successfully completed the previous points, it's time to start solving the main task - choosing kitchen furniture.

When choosing a headset, you should consider the following nuances:

• dimensions;
• manufacturer;
• materials;
• convenience and functionality;
• design.

Headset dimensions

First of all, you need to choose the right height of the working surface. She, as a rule, is selected taking into account the growth of the hostess. There is a standard that corresponds to the size of typical household appliances and fits most European women - 85–90 cm.

Whatever size of furniture you choose, be sure to observe the distance between the lower and upper cabinets during installation - at least 50 cm. The easiest way to calculate the height is that the upper edge of the wall cabinet is located at the height of the hostess plus 20-25 cm.

Another nuance - some experts are sure that it is better not to buy a kitchen set with work surfaces of the same height (food cutting area, sink, stove). Thanks to the multi-level height of the tabletop, the cooking process is facilitated, as this allows you to change the position of the back and the load is more evenly distributed over the body. But such furniture must be ordered and it costs much more.

Manufacturers

Domestic kitchens are cheaper than imported ones, but not by much. Naturally, you will not find very cheap and at the same time high-quality kitchen furniture.

But even average-priced domestic headsets are quite high quality and this is not surprising. The furniture is produced on imported equipment, and the parts themselves are often bought in Europe.

Another advantage of domestic furniture is that it is great even for small kitchens. Many factories have mini modules in their assortment, with which you can make a small kitchen set of any layout - U-shaped, angular or linear, which will perfectly fit into a compact kitchen space.

Imported kitchen sets, especially Italian ones, are especially popular. There is no limit to the cost of such products, especially if it is a model from a well-known brand.

Such sets are designed for a large kitchen space. In a small room, they lose all their grace.

Among foreign headsets, you can find inexpensive options from lesser-known manufacturers. But in order to choose among them really high-quality, you need to be well aware of all the features of the production of this furniture.

Manufacturing materials

When choosing a kitchen set, you should pay attention to the materials from which it is made. First of all, you need to remember that wooden furniture does not tolerate high humidity in the room. It is also desirable to select a headset that is well washed.

Consider the most popular materials.

Most headsets are made from this material. They are inexpensive, made from particle board covered with laminate or other resistant material. When choosing, you should pay attention to the fact that all parts of the product are protected by the edge from moisture.

MDF

It is an environmentally friendly, hygienic and safe material, resistant to fungus and well tolerated by steam. In appearance, it is almost indistinguishable from wood, while it costs much less. MDF kitchen sets are distinguished by a huge variety of colors and textures.

The most expensive material for the production of kitchens. The following types of wood are most often used: oak, ash, pine, walnut, cherry, chestnut, alder, etc. Solid wooden bars are glued and treated with special compounds.

Convenience and functionality

To make the kitchen as comfortable and functional as possible, it is necessary to take into account several nuances when choosing furniture:

• Choose a kitchen set with bottom cabinets that have legs - they provide perfect adjustment and protect kitchen furniture from water intrusion.
• It is important to choose the right countertop, as it is the most contacting surface of the kitchen. If possible, take a whole one for the entire length of the kitchen.

For the production of countertops, the following materials are used:

1. laminated chipboard or MDF;
2. artificial or natural stone;
3. typesetting board;
4. stainless steel;
5. tempered glass (very expensive);
6. ceramic dust pressed with rubber.

A popular material for making kitchen countertops is Corian, which is created using high-tech equipment from mineral filler, acrylic resin and pigment. It is distinguished by its special strength and durability, non-toxicity and resistance to chemical attack.

But the marble countertop is an unfortunate choice. This material reacts to acid, besides it is quite fragile - it is damaged not only from impacts, but also from boiling water.

A granite countertop can be a good purchase - it is practically not susceptible to acids, very durable and wear-resistant.

Countertops are often made from artificial materials:

• crystallite;
• axilana;
• varicor.

They are no worse, and sometimes even better than their natural counterparts. Among their advantages are lightness (lighter than natural ones), ease of processing, hygiene and heat resistance (they tolerate temperatures well even at 230 ° C).

A good kitchen should be functional. To do this, many devices have been invented that significantly reduce labor costs and make the cooking process convenient and comfortable.

These are all kinds of containers, drawers, overhead and mortise sinks, lamps, grids, built-in appliances, etc. All this is important to place according to the requirements of modern ergonomics.

Extremely convenient and fashionable are racks with rotating shelves, as well as special hanging tubes (crossbars) around the entire perimeter of the kitchen, on which you can place various kitchen utensils. Instead of ordinary furniture, you can pick up products on wheels.

The most important thing is to properly use every centimeter of space. For example, between the oven and the corner cabinet, you can place a narrow cabinet with ladles and glasses. And do not forget about the backlight in the most necessary places - above the countertop, sink and stove.

Kitchen set design

An important criterion for choosing a headset is its design. This is primarily the style and color of the kitchen.

Kitchen style

The style of the kitchen is a matter of taste of its owner. The most popular kitchens in the style of classic, techno, modern, hi-tech and country.

As a rule, a classic or country style set is made of natural materials. Classic kitchens look very conservative. Their surface is made of wood or wood-like material, and the fittings are made of metal. All appliances are usually built-in and hidden behind facades, which are decorated with carved cornices and balustrades.

Country-style kitchen - a flight of fantasy on the theme of nature and village life. In it, wood is sometimes combined with artificial materials. Here you can see the details of glass, steel and stone.

High-tech and techno kitchen sets, on the contrary, are closer to everything artificial. Techno usually uses glass, stone and metal. Here you can often find dials and scales of various devices, as well as knobs and switches.

High-tech kitchens mostly consist of artificial materials. The main emphasis is on the combination of different shades and materials. Particular attention is paid to light - hidden lighting, directional light and light curtains are used.

Modern style is something between extreme hi-tech and traditional classics. In furniture, classic rectangular shapes go well with the curved and rounded lines of the facades. This style combines various elements and materials: wood, plastic, glass, metal and stone.

As for color, designers give the following tips:

• In the kitchen, it is not recommended to use more than 2 colors.
• If the kitchen is decorated in several colors, then the shade of the upper cabinets should be lighter than the lower ones.
• A solid wood set looks very nice.
• For furniture made of acrylic and painted MDF, juicy, bright shades are well suited - blue, purple, pink, yellow and light green.
• Different shades of the kitchen should be in harmony with each other.
• A combination of contrasting shades looks good: black and orange, black and white, black and red, white and gray, black and pink, white and blue.
• For a small kitchen, it is better not to buy a dark-colored set. Do not forget that light shades can visually enlarge the space.
• A large kitchen looks more comfortable with a light suite and bright details.
• Too dark set can make even a large kitchen gloomy.
• Natural shades look best on kitchen furniture.

Video: how to choose a kitchen

We hope our article was useful for you. Happy shopping!

Seven clear tips from the pros on how to choose a kitchen and how to use manufacturers cleverly.

Decide in advance on the number of family members and the area of the room. Everything else has already been decided for you and a specific list has been compiled, further in the text are technical information and design optional chips.

"Professionals" can advise how to choose a kitchen, but often they are interested in increasing the amount of the check. But not all spending is worth it.

1. Order food from local producers. The competition in this market is wild, and everyone has been using high-quality German equipment and materials for a long time. If you order from abroad, then just overpay for $ / hour to European workers and for delivery. The quality will not be better.
2. The inside of the drawers is chipboard, MDF facades, the countertop is laminated chipboard under a tree (the rest of the options look terrible live, the tree is cool) or artificial stone (much more expensive).
3. Apron or glass, or fork out for 1.5-2 m2 of cool tiles (do not try to use a white fugue to grout tiles on an apron).
4. The best color for kitchen facades is white gloss. It's almost magically practical - it doesn't show dirt at all, AT ALL.
5. It is better to plan the top drawers with the usual swing opening - hinges with a closer with this option will cost only $ 1.5-3 a piece. Lifting mechanisms from above are much more expensive, but they do not provide advantages. Bottom drawers are really more convenient, but also more expensive - see if the budget is enough.
6. How to choose a kitchen set

What is the best material for the kitchen

4 main materials:

1. solid wood
2. multiplex

Chipboard - chipboard, essentially glued and pressed chips. Cheap and durable material, but afraid of temperature and moisture. In the kitchen, it is used for the frame of cabinets or facades. Although too gentle for facades, it is cheap.

Chipboard is toxic. It must be laminated on all sides, including edges and invisible parts, otherwise there will be harmful secretions.

MDF boards are created by pressing small wood shavings, almost like sawdust. Then they are impregnated with a special resin, which makes the material strong and waterproof. Thanks to this, MDF is stronger than chipboard and solid wood, is not afraid of moisture, is many times less toxic than chipboard and is generally cool, but it also costs more than chipboard (but less than solid wood).

Multiplex is made from natural wood, but cheaper than solid arrays. The production technology consists in gluing thin layers of wood together. Up to 5 strips of wood 4 mm thick are used to create a high-quality slab. It is an environmentally friendly material that is resistant to steam, moisture and temperature extremes. Although in the production of kitchens it is used less and less. other materials are getting better and it can't compete.

Fronts and cabinets

Cases or frames are always made of chipboard - this material is cheap, and the loads, especially in terms of temperature and humidity, are low for the frames. But be sure to kick kitchen workers to laminate even invisible trailing edges.

Facades are the visible part of the kitchen, which also takes on all the loads. The main materials among which you can choose:

1. MDF painted
2. Plastic
3. Acrylic
4. Film

Their photos are in order. It is impossible to distinguish from a couple of steps.

As you can see, we have thrown out chipboard, frame MDF, aluminum profile, solid wood and all sorts of ridiculous rare things like stainless steel and glass from the selection options. Some because of the inflated price without significant advantages, others (chipboard) due to low performance, aluminum profile because they look terrible. If you are completely strained with the budget, then take chipboard, but you will also have to operate it more carefully.

Choosing from the four remaining options, you essentially choose the MDF finish option (plastic and acrylic are just a coating, there is also MDF inside). They differ in price, a little texture and edge. Painted edges will not have any at all, but they are also the most expensive and capricious (they chip, scratch). We recommend plastic or acrylic, if a little cheaper and a little worse film.

By the way, MDF facades can, if desired, be given a rounded shape. But rounded facades in kitchens have long been out of fashion and rightly so.

Cases - chipboard, facades - MDF. This is the only right decision - just trust the experience.

By the way, we are in:

table top

Suitable countertop materials:

• Natural and artificial stone
• Laminated chipboard
• Glass
• Aluminum
• Stainless steel

And the last 3 are complete nonsense.

In practice, your choice is laminated chipboard with a limited budget, natural or artificial stone in the absence of financial problems.

Artificial stone is good for casting corner worktops without joints, casting immediately with a finished sink. And almost all options for artificial stone (aka acrylic, aka Corian) look cool. But chipboard countertops are good only in wood imitation options (Egger Oak Nebraska is especially good). Seriously, chipboard with imitation stone looks miserable, never choose them.

If the geometry of the kitchen allows, we highly recommend, they have been in fashion for so long that most likely they will not come out of it. You can make it wide and you get a bar table, there is material with a bunch of details above, within the framework of this article about the bar counter, information will no longer fit.

Kitchen apron

Due to its small size, the design of the apron is underestimated, although the interior of the kitchen depends heavily on it. This is a serious mistake, because just because of its small size, the apron can be made very cool. The choice of a slightly more expensive facade will reflect decently on the price of the kitchen, but you can afford to shower 2 meters of square apron with even very expensive tiles.

2 adequate backsplash options are tile and glass. Given that the area of the apron is ~ 1.5-2 m2, you can afford to buy a cool expensive tile.

Drawers are needed in at least 1 module:

Choose handles according to your taste, considering the rule that without handles at all is better than with handles, when convenience does not suffer from this. For example, on the upper hinged facades, handles are not needed at all - it is convenient to open them at the bottom.

There are a bunch of different fittings for corners, for trash cans, for opening by pressing, etc., but this is no longer necessary, and it is better to torment specific kitchen manufacturers with questions about this.

In an island or peninsula layout, the work area, along with the stove and sink, is transferred to the center of the kitchen. Kitchens with an island look cool, but firstly, they are only suitable for large apartments, and secondly, it is not easy to connect sewage and water for washing on the island. But it does look very expensive.

The arrangement of furniture should correspond to the cycle of moving around the kitchen during the cooking process: from the refrigerator to the workplace, then the sink, the cutting and cutting table, and at the end of the cycle, the hob or oven.

All modern refrigerators have reversible doors, they should open from the cooking zone.

Selecting the country of origin of the kitchen

Now let's describe cuisines from different countries the way they do it in booklets. And then we'll tell you how it really is.

Germany. German quality speaks for itself - automated production eliminates defects. But the price of such furniture is high. Manufacturers are focused on the production of headsets in a modern style, however, the products are produced overall, so they are only suitable for spacious kitchens.

Italy. An example of style, refined taste and originality. Often, manual labor is used to create a headset. Well-known designers are involved in the design development. And although Italian manufacturers produce furniture for any style, classic kitchens are most in demand.

Sweden and Finland. Such furniture combines simplicity, functionality and environmental friendliness. Choosing a kitchen in favor of Scandinavian manufacturers will allow you to get a natural, but stylish and functional kitchen for reasonable money.

Russia. For many years, domestic manufacturers have been producing products that have descended from German or Italian equipment, using European materials. Therefore, by 2019, Russian cuisines can be compared in quality with foreign counterparts, and the price differs significantly. In addition, understanding the Russian mentality and conditions encourages the creators to produce furniture to the size of real kitchens.

But in fact, people work everywhere who mow as much as it is permissible to continue working. In the production of custom-made kitchens, there is simply wild competition, so they are now well made even in the countries of the former USSR. For the processing of facades, the same equipment is used as in Germany, most of the materials are German or Turkish. Accessories are also German or Austrian.

Therefore, the only advantage of cuisine from abroad is show-offs. It's so cool to say that the kitchen was brought to you from Italy, and not sawn in a hangar on the outskirts. But the truth is that in terms of quality there will either be no difference at all, or they will be scanty. Read about the average wages in the Russian Federation and in Europe, but the payment of workers goes into the price of the kitchen. All logistics, customs clearance and payment for a bunch of intermediaries go there. That is why imported kitchens are more expensive, it's not about quality.

Choice of kitchen color

There is more taste here, but there is one universal option -. This is an ideal option for a combination of appearance, price and practicality. And it's almost impossible to mess them up. Seriously, many tried and did everything else just awful, but it still turned out at least not bad.

All other colors for kitchens on a whim. As practice shows, if a person has a favorite color, and the kitchen in his dreams was drawn in it, then it is unrealistic to dissuade. But we strongly do not recommend choosing black and other dark colors. Black is a cool color, but not for kitchen fronts. In the kitchen, it is extremely impractical and looks boring.
The exception is black matte color on a small part of the facades. It looks cool, but practicality issues remain.

Colors from white to gray are good and with minimal chance of making a mistake. Wood as an addition, too, but if there is too much of it, the appearance suffers. Bright colors greatly increase the likelihood of a collective farm look.

We hope the information will be useful to you, and our categoricalness will save at least someone from mistakes when choosing a kitchen, good luck!
