In modern apartments, the loggia is a full-fledged room that can be equipped as a recreation area. For the correct design of this type of room, curtains are needed for the loggia. They will give the loggia a beautiful and lived-in look, perform practical functions (protect from the bright sun). Well-known designers advise when choosing a view not to deviate much from the general theme of the design of the loggia. The main rule is that it must be positioned so as not to interfere with the passage to the balcony and it will be possible to freely use the door. The loggia is initially larger in area than the balcony, which means you can hang any kind of curtains: Roman, roller, blinds, fabric, bamboo.

Roller blinds

They are, in fact, a construction of a dense fabric, a roller, and a convenient mechanism that allows you to lower the curtains to the desired level and fix them. Many models allow you to adjust the degree of illumination in the room. This feature most of all depends not only on the density of the fabric, but also on the features of the model itself.

Roman curtains

This type of curtains organically fit into the classic interior of the loggia. They gather at the top with beautiful draperies. They rise due to the built-in mechanism, beautiful folds are formed due to the ribs sewn into the model, which give rigidity. Roman blinds on the loggia are becoming more and more popular, as they allow you to adjust the lighting and leave window sills (if any) free.

Other models

Blinds are an interesting modern solution for decorating a loggia. Available in two versions - horizontal and vertical.

Variations of horizontal blinds are most often produced from wood or bamboo and covered with a special varnish that prevents the formation (settlement) of dust. The tree is selected from light and durable species.

It will be interesting to look at the option in the form of an accordion (pleated). Similar models are available in any color scheme.

Design of curtains on the loggia

Modern manufacturers offer a wide selection of any models in any color. When choosing a model, it is necessary to take into account the area of \u200b\u200bthe room and the general style.

For example: curtains on a loggia with an area of 6 meters should visually expand the space. This can be achieved by choosing light fabric curtains in light colors. In the article you can see photos of curtains for the loggia of all popular options.

What curtains to hang on the loggia?

Loggias can be glazed and open. For an open type, it is necessary to select models without draperies and folds, the best option would be tulle or simple fabrics.

Curtains on the balconies give the interior completeness, soften the bright sunlight, create a unique comfort. The choice of one or another option depends on the overall style of the balcony, personal taste and the latest fashion trends. Every season there are new offers that significantly expand the possibilities of designers and apartment owners.

What are balcony curtains

Curtains on balconies should be inexpensive, practical and beautiful. Among the main requirements:

  • the possibility of varying the degree of shading;
  • ease of care;
  • environmental and fire safety;
  • durability;
  • resistance to bright sun, wind and rain;
  • ease of assembly and dismantling.

Ideal for balcony structures and loggias:

  • blinds (horizontal or vertical);
  • Roman curtains;
  • awnings;
  • roll models;
  • light curtains made of tulle or muslin.

Blinds are easy to use, easy to adjust, you can choose a shade and design suitable for different interiors. Blinds made of straw, bamboo, or plastic often complement regular window curtains made from fabric.

The roller blind has evolved from a recent novelty into a real classic. Such models for loggias are compact, if necessary, they quickly fold up, without preventing the penetration of sunlight. Roller blinds on the loggias will reliably protect the inhabitants of the apartment from prying eyes, this option is ideal for the first floors of apartment buildings, private cottages and summer cottages.

Awnings are usually combined with other types of curtains. They are smart, protect well from the sun and light rain. However, wind and rain can damage them. The use of awnings in multi-storey buildings is not very convenient, but in private cottages and summer cottages they are simply irreplaceable. There are many options for how to hang such curtains, interesting ideas can be found in design magazines.

Light air curtains will not protect the balcony from the sun, but they will prevent insects from entering the home. Such curtains are made from muslin, polyester mesh, tulle, tulle, synthetic lace. Curtains knitted from cotton, linen or viscose threads look very impressive.

For balcony curtains do not use plush, satin and other materials that are appropriate in front living rooms. Practical cotton, durable polyester is more suitable for decorating verandas and loggias. A variety of plastics are widely used, lovers of eco-style interiors will like curtains and blinds made of bamboo, straw, impregnated rice paper. Natural materials are comfortable and beautiful, but are more prone to wear. Choosing this option, you need to be ready to change the curtains on the windows every season.

Fashion trends

The design of curtains for a balcony does not change too often, but every season there are interesting offers on the market that must be considered. In 2017, environmental ideas will be especially relevant. Balcony curtains are already offered from a variety of natural materials: straw, jute, processed palm leaves. The most relevant shades are natural. You can choose textiles in brown, beige, cream, green colors. Not only the design of the curtains is offered, but also ideas on how to hang them. For example, short Japanese panels up to the window sill, covering the opening with a solid wall, are especially relevant now. To diversify the design, the curtains can be kept in different shades of the same range. A beige, greenish, lilac-lilac or black-gray palette looks very stylish.

Popular for balconies and loggias are Roman blinds in classic contrasting stripes. It is worth looking at the red-white, greenish-cream, blue-blue combinations. An interesting offer - curtains for a balcony in a rustic style. They are made of printed cotton or polyester, trimmed with lace imitating hand weaving. Do-it-yourself models look original. They can be crocheted or knitted, weaved using macrame or tatting technique, using patchwork technique. To decorate a balcony window, both 1-2 large curtains and shortened curtains up to the window sill are used. All needlework magazines are full of ideas on how to make curtains for the balcony with your own hands, so choosing the right technique and style is very easy.

Fashionable novelties of the season can be found in specialized publications and at exhibitions. But the timeless classic also remains at the peak of relevance. These include curtains made of plain muslin or tulle, as well as a variety of roll models in calm colors. For window decoration, you need to use the same ideas as for decorating a balcony block. In this case, the interior of the home will be more solid, which is especially important for small apartments.

Design Tricks

The design of the balcony room depends on many factors. When choosing textiles for a loggia, you need to consider:

  • the location of the window with a balcony block;
  • climate features;
  • lighting brightness;
  • degree of air pollution;
  • the need for isolation from neighbors or street noise;
  • materials that were used to decorate the loggia or balcony.

A window with a balcony can be decorated in the same style. On the loggias and verandas facing north, light curtains in warm colors look especially beautiful: sunny yellow, cream, golden beige, peach. Passing through the curtains on the loggia, daylight will create the effect of a soft subdued sun. Balcony windows facing south, southeast and southwest should be shaded with curtains of the cold spectrum. Ideal blue, green, purple tones in all sorts of combinations, the addition of white is welcome. Such curtains will create a Mediterranean atmosphere, bring notes of freshness, lightness, ease into the interior.

For example, in one composition you can include thick roller blinds for shading in the evening, light muslin to protect against insects, removable awnings for especially hot sunny days. In this case, the balcony block should not be overloaded. The ideal option is a simple multifunctional design that makes it easy to dismantle unnecessary structures, replacing them with new ones.

How to make curtains yourself

Making do-it-yourself loggia curtains is a great idea for a quick and inexpensive interior transformation. They can be made from any improvised materials. The most affordable option is floral or small-check chintz, which creates the atmosphere of a country house.

Do-it-yourself curtains for a balcony can be knitted from cotton threads. They are usually crocheted using the sirloin mesh technique. Curtains can be short or elongated; for greater decorativeness, it is recommended to starch them. Threads of white or pastel colors are suitable, curtains made of unbleached linen look very elegant, creating an eco-design. With your own hands, you can also make curtains from colored shreds, they are more suitable for an interior in a folk style and loggias lined with wood.

Regardless of what functions the balcony performs (serves as a storage warehouse, a study, an addition to living space or a temporary parking lot for prams), for the most part it consists of glass. And to make this room look complete, balcony windows should be correctly framed with textiles. We are, of course, talking about curtains.

The most important moment of the modern design of balconies are well-chosen curtains, which are in harmony with the overall interior. Depending on the purpose of this room, how many windows it has and how the adjoining room is generally decorated, various requirements are put forward for the curtains, including those relating to colors, textures and sizes. To make the room look more original, curtains on the balcony can be made independently. Such work is not difficult - in fact, it only requires a sewing machine, skills to work with it and scissors.

What should be taken into account?

Before starting work, you should decide on the type of curtains and their design. A great option for a balcony is Roman blinds, which are straight pieces of fabric that rise by folding. In this case, there are a lot of variations: you can make exquisite French triangles or give preference to beautiful lace, sew a one-piece design, weighting it along the wings, or use drapery. Be that as it may, the main advantage of any Roman blinds is convenience.

Note! These curtains will not flutter in the wind or interfere with opening balcony windows. In addition, such a design solution can save a lot.

The fact is that Roman curtains require a small amount of material, so you can use expensive original textiles. As for massive curtain structures or curtains consisting of several layers, it is advisable to refuse them in the case of a balcony, because they will occupy a significant part of an already limited space. At the same time, it is also better not to use a dense opaque material, since a balcony, first of all, is necessary for passing air and light.

Finally, light Japanese-style curtains made of bamboo or linen will also look great.

Option number 1. Making roman blinds

Let's start with the fact that they can be solid or consisting of several canvases at once. In the second case, each of the curtains must be attached to a separate cornice. If you are a beginner, then it is better to sew a one-piece version - this will help to understand the essence of the process, to understand the principle of operation of the cornice and fasteners.

Note! Often the length of Roman blinds corresponds to the height of the ceiling, but you can make them shorter if you wish.

Stage one. We prepare everything you need

During the manufacturing process you will need:

  • fabric (as well as lining material if necessary);
  • hooks on a screw leg;
  • Velcro tape;
  • screws, small nails;
  • rods with a diameter of 0.4-0.5 cm (wooden or plastic), the length of which is 3 cm less than the expected width of the curtain (about 7-8 pieces);
  • a bar 2.5x5 cm (the same length as the width of the curtain) for hanging;
  • small plastic rings (diameter - 1-1.2 cm) for each backstage; in them you will subsequently pass the cords;
  • weighting bar;
  • 3 pieces of nylon cord (1 width + 2 curtain lengths).

After preparing everything you need, you can safely begin work.

Stage two. Manufacturing

Step 1. First, measure the opening. To the figures obtained, add 6-7 cm for the seams on the sides and 12-15 cm for allowances. As a rule, height allowances correspond to 20% of the curtain. Next, decant the fabric to avoid mistakes or shrinkage of the material when sewing: place it in water for a few minutes, then dry and iron.

If we talk about folds, then their number/size depends primarily on the length of the window. To determine the desired step between the folds, you can use the table below.

We also note that another secret in the manufacture of these curtains is the competent calculation of "pleat pockets".

Step 2. Mark on the back side the future folds, folds and the location of the rings in accordance with the diagram above. At the same time, it is necessary that there is the same step between the folds everywhere - then the finished product will drape beautifully.

Step 3. On the side edges, double hem. Adjust the tension on the cord so that the stitching does not pull the sides.

Step 4. Using a furniture stapler or small nails, fix the Velcro to the bottom of the bar with the canvas attached to it. Process the upper cut, then sew the remaining piece of Velcro there - so, if necessary, you can easily remove the canvas to wash.

The bar, which will serve as a cornice, pre-treat with paint of the desired color. Although, instead of a bar, you can take a lambrequin bar with Velcro (these are bought with brackets for the ceiling).

Step 5. Make a fold at the bottom of the rim and create a drawstring so wide that you can put a weighting bar into the formed “pocket”. As an option, a flat profile (made of aluminum) can serve as a weighting agent, the length of which would be 1-2 cm less than the cornice.

It is important that the color of the weighting agent matches the color of the fabric. You can buy such a profile at any hardware store.

Step 6. Stitch a border on the wrong side of the canvas, and insert the pins into the pockets formed as a result of this. Seal up the holes, but only sew the edges on one side so the pins can be taken out and put back in before washing.

It is also important that the pins do not tear the canvas. Ideally, small plastic rods or corset inserts should be used (the latter can be found in any store specializing in sewing accessories). You need to insert such corset inserts as follows: first, cut them into segments of the required length, leaving a small margin, and heat them with an iron through the fabric, then put them under a press for several days to completely straighten them (the fact is that such inserts are sold in rolls by the meter). After that, you can insert them into the pockets of the curtains. Finally, another option may be to use metal wire, but on condition that the rods are even and made of stainless steel.

Step 7. Mark the location of the rings and sew them by hand, following the pattern. Use nails to fix the rings on the bar.

Note! The rings should be placed symmetrically with respect to the middle of the curtain. In addition, the outer rings must be fastened about 7-10 cm from the edges.

Step 8 Attach the canvas to the bar with Velcro. Fasten the cord fastener to the frame. Thread the cord through the rings, moving from the bottom up, and tie a knot at the bottom. You can additionally use glue to increase strength.

Step 9. Passing the cord through the remaining rings, with each new row, do the steps described above. As a result, the cords should go to one side through the upper rings. Tighten all the cords tightly, then distribute the pleats along the curtain. Using ribbons, fix the folds in this position.

Curtain making process. Pull the ropes through the holes in the cross bars. When this step is completed, pull the ropes through the holes in the cornice and fix it

Step 10. Install the bar on the window frame or above it, remove the ribbons - the Roman should then drop. Adjust the tension of the cords and, having collected them in a bundle, tie them behind the last ring into a knot. Next, thread them through the lifting handle and tie another half a meter from the knot. Carefully trim the ends behind the second knot. Everything, the work is finished!

Option number 2. We make blinds from the remnants of non-woven wallpaper

Another option that can be used to decorate the balcony. After the repair, many do not know where to attach the remnants of wallpaper, but we offer to make original paper blinds out of them. By the way, Chinese housewives were the first to make paper curtains to decorate bedrooms, and you can use this option on the balcony.

First, measure the width/height of the windows. Then add about 25% more to the height, because the wallpaper will fold into an accordion.

Upon completion of measurements, prepare:

  • wallpaper;
  • adhesive tape (regular and double-sided);
  • hole punch (can be replaced with an awl);
  • glue;
  • ruler;
  • large beads;
  • scissors;
  • tape (its color must match the color of the wallpaper);
  • retainer (take it from an old sports jacket).

The further algorithm of actions should look as follows.

Table. Making paper blinds

Steps, no. Short description Illustration
Step 1 After taking measurements, make a simple marking - mark the places of punctures and folds. Next, bend the wallpaper to get a beautiful "accordion".

Step 2 Fold the resulting workpiece into one even strip, as shown in the image.

Step 3 Pierce all layers of wallpaper with a hole punch or an awl.

Step 4 Carefully expand the hole you made.

Step 5 Pass the tape through the hole (if desired, you can replace the linen cord). With the help of this tape you will open paper blinds.

Step 6 Spread the "accordion" on the floor, straightening it.

Step 7 Tie a cord at the top and secure it with tape.

Step 8 Cut off the excess cord from below, leaving a small margin for further manipulations.

Step 9 Fold the blinds at the bottom in such a way that you get a kind of peacock tail. It's simple enough. Then glue the last 5 folds together and fix with double-sided tape.

Step 10 Install the jacket retainer on the cord.

Step 11 Shorten the ribbon to the required length, you can decorate the end with a bead.

Step 12 Attach the finished blinds to the window using the same double-sided tape.

Such blinds will look fresh and original, in no way inferior to their "shop" counterparts. There are other varieties of these products - for example, with several parallel cords.

Option number 3. Making Japanese curtains

A great option for decorating spacious balconies and loggias. The manufacture of such curtains initially meant the use of only natural fabrics - linen or cotton. If your budget is very limited, then give preference to non-stretch materials. And one more important point: the surface of Japanese curtains should be perfectly smooth, without waves or folds.

First, cut the panels, following the instructions below.

Step 1. Measure the width of the window opening, divide the resulting figure by 60 cm. This will determine the required number of panels. And if the width is divided by 60, then the panels will be installed close to each other. If it is not a multiple of 60, then round up in order to subsequently overlap the panels.

Step 2. Measure the height from the eaves, add another 10 cm to the resulting value (for allowances).

Step 3. Multiply the resulting length by the number of panels - this will allow you to find out the required length of the fabric if the width is 60 cm. With a larger width, the length decreases proportionally.

Step 4. Open the panels on a piece of material, process the bottom and side edges.

Step 5. Smooth out the panels, and then process the top. The bar, which will be attached to the eaves, must have Velcro (the latter is called Velcro).

Folding the fabric

After that, you can proceed directly to sewing - for this:

  • smooth the velcro;
  • lay the curtain so that the top edge is visible;
  • attach the Velcro to the allowance with the front side and attach with pins;
  • stitch everything;
  • lay the curtain, bend the Velcro to the wrong side;
  • fasten everything with pins and sew;
  • iron the fabric to make it perfectly smooth;
  • make a drawstring at the bottom, insert a weighting agent into it;
  • insert the top into the holder.

Option number 4. We make a filament curtain

This decor looks spectacular, so it can become a true decoration of your balcony. If desired, this curtain can be made at home.

Prepare for work:

  • a dense plastic bar (it can also be wooden or cardboard) of the required size;
  • wide fabric for trim decoration;
  • a thread with a thickness of at least 0.2 cm;
  • a hammer;
  • glue gun;
  • lighter;
  • thin nails (5-6 pieces) in order to attach the plank to the opening.

After preparation, start work on the manufacture of curtain threads.

Step 1. Measure the height of the window opening. The length of one thread will consist of the height of the opening, multiplied by 2, the width of the bar, multiplied by 4, and 2 cm of stock. For example, if the height of the opening is 1.5 m, and the width of the bar is 2 cm, then the length of one thread will be 3.1 m.

Step 2. Cut pieces of thread of the required size. Calculate in advance how many such pieces you need, but approximately 400-500 pieces. For convenience, you can do the work in stages: cut, for example, a hundred threads - attach, etc.

Step 3. Attach the threads to the bar. Do this with a regular knot, just like in a macrame: fold one segment in half, throw it over the bar, and thread the ends through the loop that has formed. Use a glue gun to secure the loop. The following shows how to properly fasten the threads.

Step 4. Distribute all the threads evenly, then mask the gaps through which the bar is visible (do this with a thin knitting needle or with your hands). After that, carefully trim the segments.

Step 5. Scorch the ends of the threads with a lighter - so the product will last longer. Alternatively, you can dip the ends (maximum 0.5 cm) into the glue.

Step 6. The ends of the plank can be hidden with pieces of fabric attached with a stapler or glue and bent to the wrong side (the one that will be fixed to the wall).

Note! If you wish, you can put beads on the threads - this will make the curtain look even more attractive.

Step 7. It remains only to attach the finished curtain to the opening. Use small finishing nails for this. Everything, the work is finished.

Such curtains can decorate not only the balcony, but also any other room. They will also look great on the doors or windows of a country house.

Video - Filament curtains in interior design

It seems that not so long ago, the balconies in all the apartments were littered with all sorts of rubbish or simply served as a clothes dryer.

However, modern loggias are a place of rest, an office or even a gym.

The arrangement of this part of the apartment is now no less important than the decor of other rooms, so do not neglect such a decorative element as curtains on the balcony when designing the interior of the apartment.

There are many options for modern curtains on the balcony. In this article, we will consider how to choose the color, density, material, and most importantly the type of curtains, and a colorful photo gallery will help you make the right choice.

At first glance, there is nothing difficult in choosing curtains for a balcony, but this small, often non-standard room can become a real headache.

  • Do not focus on the assortment of the nearest store if your ideal option is not found there.
  • Use the services of the studio and the master to embody any of your ideas.
  • Remember that the loggia is much smaller than the rest of the rooms and you need to try to save space, so you should not take bulky curtains.

Consider where your windows face. For northern windows, it is advisable to choose light material, and for southern windows - dense.

Types of curtains

There are several dozen different types of curtains, depending on the shape, length, material and method of fastening to the window. It is easy for an ignorant person to get confused in such a variety.

We have selected the five most suitable types that should be used on the loggia.

From time immemorial: Roman blinds

It doesn’t matter if the interior is classic or modern, this type of curtains will fit into any design.

Their design is reminiscent of a ship's sail: a cord built into the inside raises or lowers the fabric, forming neat folds and allowing you to adjust the degree of illumination.

Roman blinds are a great option for a kitchen with a balcony. Thanks to the interesting geometry, they look good in a small room. They successfully combine elegance, simplicity and functionality.

There are no restrictions on the choice of fabric, but most often dense and natural materials are used for Roman blinds.

Beauty in simplicity: Japanese curtains

The Japanese are known for their love of minimalism and large open spaces.

Perfectly straight strips of fabric move left and right along the window and do not take up much space. Such curtains bring harmony and sophistication to the interior.

Japanese curtains look best on floor-to-ceiling windows with wide openings. A simple and at the same time original solution will be a highlight in the design.

Modern and comfortable: roller blinds

According to the principle of operation, this type is as similar as possible to the Roman one, only rolled up roller blinds are a small, inconspicuous cylinder above the glass.

On the contrary, when unfolded, the canvas can completely block the access of light.

You can decorate each segment of the window separately and also adjust the degree of lighting in the room.

Charm and luxury: French curtains

For classic, sophisticated interiors, French curtains are the most advantageous option.

The smoothness of the lines, the elegance of the drapery are the main features of this type.

Usually, silk is the material for them, but in reality the choice is limited only by your imagination. Any airy, light fabrics are perfect for decorating windows on the balcony.

At certain intervals, lacing is threaded into the fabric and tightening it, you can adjust the desired height of the curtains. This gives the fabric a semi-circular drapery and the smaller the distance between the laces, the more magnificent the curtains are.

There is nothing better than the classics

Do not forget about the classic curtains with a cornice. Light curtains will fit into any room, with them the interior becomes both cozy and status.

They will look great on balconies over six meters.

curtain design

Deciding on the type of curtains is only half the battle, the next step is to decide on the color and ornament. To do this, we have a few simple tips:

  • Light colors always visually expand the space.
  • Neat, simple patterns on light-colored curtains usually look lighter and better than large patterns and dark colors.
  • The sun does not spare dark fabrics, they quickly heat up and fade.
  • If light curtains do not fit the interior, then you can use double-sided material.

If you have not yet decided on the best option for you, then you should take a look at the photo of the curtains on the balcony.

Photos of ideas and novelties of curtains on the balcony

The insulated and glazed balcony visually enlarges the space of the room, makes it possible to be on the balcony at any time of the year and allows you to be closer to nature. Types of curtains for the balcony and loggia

There are many types of curtains for balconies. These can be ordinary curtains made of light ordinary fabric, thick curtains in several layers, blinds and curtains. Now we will consider the most common types of curtains for the balcony.

The very name of these curtains speaks for itself, about their origin. Even in ancient Rome, such a look as drapery was born. In this type of curtains, they rise up in even horizontal folds, somewhat similar to ship sails. The canvas can be made of synthetic and natural fabric, it is attached to the eaves.

A counterweight bar is attached to the bottom. The fabric itself is divided into several ribbons. Rings are attached to these ribbons, through which cords are threaded to raise and lower the Roman blind. When raised, they do not interfere with free access to the window.

Advantages of Roman curtains:

  • High price;
  • Small consumption of fabric;
  • Simple fastening to the ceiling with different types of glazing;
  • Combination with sliding classic curtains;
  • Versatility.

This type of curtains, which can move along the window without obstacles. Planks that can be attached at the bottom and top give the curtains an even and smooth appearance. They can be collected both on different sides, and in one.

Advantages of Japanese curtains:

  • Many color solutions;
  • Ease of care;
  • Compactness;

Such curtains are the simplest and most convenient to use and decorate the window on the balcony. The fabric of such headsets is wound on a shaft, in the upper and lower parts of the window.

The main feature of such curtains is the absence of a cassette into which the curtains are assembled.

Advantages of roller blinds:

  • The smallest number of parts that can break;
  • Ease of installation;
  • Ease of maintenance.

This type of curtain is universal. Such curtains can be applied to any interior in the loggia. Classic curtains provide great opportunities for the originality of the design of the balcony window, you can use any fabric, texture, shades, combine different furniture.

Asymmetrical

If your balcony has a classic style, then asymmetric-type curtains with grommets will suit you. It is this asymmetry that will give some sharpness to the traditional interior design, and the method of attachment will not give obstacles to using the balcony. Asymmetric curtains are an unusual design element.

But in case of their correct selection, they will significantly change the interior of the entire room. The possibility of such curtains is a different length of the panel. The right side of the curtain is shorter and the left side is longer. It can be vice versa.

French

The material of these curtains is silk. They are laced many times along the entire length. With the help of such lacing, the curtains are fixed at a given height or assembled at the very edge of the eaves. Very often they are made of light organza, cambric, tulle, silk, veil and add airiness to the space.

Classic

Such curtains have long been well known to everyone. They can be used in the loggia and balcony of short or long length and combined with tulle or just leave one tulle.

The main advantage of such curtains is the low price and appearance of the material and the ability to hang them yourself.

Such curtains can be beautifully and easily draped. The main disadvantage is that such curtains must be constantly washed and ironed, and also very carefully treated.

If the exit to your balcony is located in the hall, curtained or glazed, then the window can only be decorated with a veil or light organza tulle.

A canvas of thick curtains will not fit on such a window, and it also does not make sense to divide them into two parts, since they will look very inappropriate on the window.

Fastening for such curtains is most often chosen by metal or plastic eyelets. This is done so that, if necessary, open the door to its full potential, it will not be difficult and the tulle will not be damaged.

It is important that the shade of the curtains matches the interior of the room itself. A snow-white shade is completely optional in such cases.

A fashionable little thing and an innovation in 2017 is filament curtains or muslin. This type of curtain is quite unusual and looks original and interesting. These are thin and flowing threads that make an extraordinary play of light in the room. You can make your window both monophonic and connect more than two shades. In addition to the usual flowing threads, you can combine beads, flowers or many other decorative elements with them.

Such curtains are very practical, because you will not be inconvenienced to go out to the balcony.

Video on how to care for filament curtains:

blinds curtains

Such curtains are modern, do not take up much space and are very convenient to use. They differ from other types of curtains in that they are durable, practical, easy to care for, and also have a wide selection of colors.

Blinds are divided into two types:
